Hey Lego, make this a Brickmaster set! Really sleek design on this one, clever use of the screw drivers, good use of the vent-slopes and trapezoid flags work perfectly. I consider this to be one of the few good things of The Phantom Menace. (Along with Red Letter Media's review, gotta love Plinkett ) And THANK YOU for building instructions! I want this one sitting on my desk.

The Action Theme You Love
Milargo replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Bionicle naturally, oh wait you mean action, not action figures. I've always loved the Rock Raiders line, really cool building and character designs. And the vehicles were nothing to scoff at. Plus the game was a blast. -
Only if they release it as both a Toy Story 3 and Cars set at the same time, the Lego cross-over genre is very elusive you know.

Ah, the Motherland! What a beautiful country. Though I can see why it'd be tough through Ebay... You could try and make a roborider fusion with his new 'n' improved version.

Yeeeeaaah! Now that's armor! It looks like the set should've looked! I'd be much happier if next year's line, Hero 2.0s, looked like this! Instead of what they actually look like. Time to order some pieces from brinklink too rebuild this years Heros. And nice details on the back of the legs near the feet, almost like the spurs of cowboy boots.

Wow! This should win the Vehicle Contest! Words can't express how awesome that vehicle is. But I'll try. I really love the combination of system and technic, really detailed. And the figure, amazing use of Gali's mask, and Ork swords. And the torso, legs and shoulder pads! Loved the story by the way.
-
Coming from your henchman entry, IMHO, this one feels more like a henchmen. Great torso design! Though I feel the lower arms need a little more armor, and his "mallets?" seem a little small for him. And those legs're perfect for him, they flow nicely. Very cool.
-
Judging by her background and the way she looks, I think she seems much more like a villain than a henchman(woman?) to me. Take some notes Lego. This is how female bionicles should look like, feminine. Unlike Breeze 2.0. Ooh, that's always a good sign. Anouther good sign. On the contrary, I love the heels, add a lotta character. Plus they remind me of a coupla the Mechs in Armored Core 4 Answer. Really like those blade arms! And tentacles and a nice touch, fantastic torso. And those legs! On the downside the competition got a whole lot stiffer.

Hey, cool. I'll check em' out. They say patience is a virture but, I never believed them. Pity? It's blasphemy, Slizer mocs are some of the best kind of mocs. Maybe they'll have him at a good price on Ebay one o' these days.
-
Ha ha! Excellent, I love Metal Fatigue so underrated! Fantastic build on this guy, wish it was a Lego set! Any chance you'll make Rimtech, or Neuropa limited?
-
I love this sudden influx of Slizer/Roborider mocs. Really digging the leg design on this fella, claws fit him perfectly. Great build on Jet's jetpack, really cool propellers, wish I could see mroe of his torso. I could never figure out how well the throwing arm would work with ball joints. Keep on mocing!

(In a checky british accent) My God man, you've got a point there! Couldn't agree with you more, though I can't help but be selfish and wish for building-intensiveness to be prominent in all themes. Atlantis is a fanastic theme, IMHO better than the "Power Miners" which I desperately wish was more like Rock Raiders. Careful when throwing "Jack Stone" around, might give some of us nightmares. "Play well" indeed.

Curse you demographics! Excellent moc, love the office and Batmobile lair, even Tony Stark would be in envy! Loving the trophy over the mantle place, and the curtains! Oh, and the bookshelf, let's not forget the bookshelf, very clever. WHAM Ah yes, the secret elevator behind the Grand Father Clock, fabelhaft! BAM Oh and the Batmobile! Great turbine on the back of the Batmobile and nice headlights. And the detail on the desk, the drawers, and the chair. And, and the bust! A-and the mouldings! And th-

I just found a page listing pictures of the new 2011 Ninjago, Hero Factory (Shame Breeze doesn't look like a chick anymore, I mean really, worse the 06' Hahli. Thankfully primary yellow and orange are back! ), Egyptians (It's got 1990s cool!), and Atlantis sets. (Times like these when I love Google ) I really don't like the playing card gimmick, IMHO it cheapens the whole line. And I like what I see, mostly it doesn't have that "classic" feel that I love so much. However the Egyptian set do have that classic feel, love the looks of em'. I see what you mean about the Spinjitzu Dojo, there's not much there but hey, I have to use that technique in my city, unless I wanna run outta bricks in a hurry. As long as the set isn't overpriced(Not much there ), I'll pick that one up it'd look nice on the outskirts of my kingdom. I like this dragon, that's one cool head. I'm glad they decided to use a brick built body in place of the more specialized pieces. I can live with the Thornax launcher, as long as it doesn't look too out of place. Sitting there... In between the skull. Still, never discount playability. But, yeah I really "dig" his design. I was kinda torn on the new sharks, I liked its ability to swallow minifigures don't get me wrong. But something about it just didn't, seem lego enough I like the cats owls and dogs "without faces", maybe because that's what I'm used to, but it still really feels "Lego" to me. If that makes any sense. I too love KKII Bionicle and Exo-Force, and I like this new Ninjango line, I find the set design to be pretty cool, not 1999 cool but, you get my drift. What I'm really excited about is that new Egyptian line, certainly looked cool in the pictures. Lego's Egyptian line. It's got 1990s cool!

I second this. Fabelhaft, I love this moc. Best batmobile moc I've seen, I just ADORE the middile turbine(that what it's called?), and a detailed interior fantastic! Man is this cool. Wish it was a set.

Thanks for this good news! Can't wait to see pictures for the "Big Police Station", "dog patrol vehicle" and (of course) the prisoner transport vehicle. Can't wait for classic-town-style space theme , harbor theme sets, anymore good news and I'll be broke!

Wunderbar, it'll be interesting to see how these sets look in system! I did enjoy the Toy Story 3 line, if Lego Cars is as cool as Lego TS3 count me in.
-
Maybe Legos trying to hard to be, oh what's the word... Hip? That's too bad, I was hoping for 1999 style ninja sets. (Not that I expected otherwise.) Sorry, didn't read all the pages. IMHO the color issue conflicts with the possible demographic (7 - 9), I mean don't kids these days like pretty colors? I just hope the dragon will look more like the classic green dragons, I never did like the recent castle dragons. Remind me of Mega Bloks. Though I did like the technic/bionicle Viking dragons. (Maybe there have been pictures or info on the dragon? I haven't been following too closely. )

The mascot certainly gets around. A little suprised it wasn't a wallpaper? Kudos to the graphic designers, they put alot of effort into the overall style of this theme, and it shows! It may be too soon to say, but I like where this line is going so far. Cool graphical presentation.

That's a bit o' good news. Woah, hey look at that"Twin X-treme RC"! That's one awesome looking set, how'd I miss it? I do love that green top. Though I hope, yet at the same time highly doubt that McQueen's model would be as nice as..... Twin X-treme RC. I'd like to see that, can never get enough of those pieces. Sadly I doubt this too, I get the sinking feeling it's gonna have heavy stickerage, I agree with Oky Wan in that it'll probably be a smaller set (Due to demographics.) and at a smaller scale it would be near impossible to "brick out" his creepy expresion. In fact, I wouldn't doubt him having multiple expression stickers on a couple interchangeable "face bricks", if that makes in sense in those terms. ... Twin X-treme RC.

Guten tag and welcome to Eurobricks! Make yourself at home.

Like the set, love the review. Guess you could call her "two faced". Love this "humorous review system" Also love the "Happy courtesan" and "Barrel", waiting for someone to make an oktoberfest moc. Nice set, I'll pick this one up when (or if) Lego puts it on clearance.
-
Ha ha, I hope not! Talk about a nightmare. Well that's a relief, I feel sorry for the set's designer. Wonder how they'll pull off the expressions, stickers? I hope not. It'll be intresting to see how the sets will be designed Well that's a shame. "Finn McMissile" Didn't know this would be a dirty film. I wonder if it'll coincide with the movie. Probably. That makes two of us. Post a review if you get a chance.

Silver Ninja Sword! I like how black Ninja is so casual about the whole thing. Also, black stripes on minifig pants, did I miss that set?
-
Well, this is a surprise! Too soon to tell if it's a good one. Is there a new Cars movie coming soon? If not, isn't this a bit late? Considering the movie came out in '06 If this is in fact a duplo line (Which wouldn't surprise me) we can anticipate a grand total of 10 pieces. Though, now that I think about it... With all those smooth curves, I'm betting a "UCS" piece count wont be much higher.. You read my mind. They always do.
