  1. That's the point that I was getting at, all of the previous themes you mentioned were well established, and releasing apparel and various other accessories and merchandise was a calculated risk. Seeing that their shifting strategies for this theme and really laying it all out on the table, I thought was a bold move. Even if well thought out and calculated, I still think it's a huge risk on their part, everything that I've seen so far has been well put together, the website looks fantastic (When you take into account the demographic) and I believe this line will be very successful with the targeted demographic, I mean look a Knights Kingdom II. Sure we've seen this strategy been done before. But so much so soon? That's new to me. And I couldn't help but poke fun at it. And I don't think we're confused with the concept so much as we're hung up on their use of the abbreviation ATV, considering the word shinobi did not exist to describe a ninja-like agent until the 15th century. Well, it just seems a little funny.
  2. My God, so many beautiful pictures! Makes me wish Lego still used real pictures of sets, instead of CG. Loving these pictures, keep em' coming.
  3. Saludos, Bio.hydroxxon It's good to have anouther Bionicle fan around, enjoy your time here at Eurobricks! Hasta la próxima.
  4. Considering some of Legos other themes, I think you can throw in some NinjaGo pens, NinjaGo condiment containers, R U NinjaGo Magic Eight Ball and the foam NinjaGo swords and shields and a NinjaGo umbrella. NinjaGo magnets, NinjaGo keychains, "I NinjaGo" T-shirts, NinjaGo watches, NinjaGo Logo Mug, NinjaGo calendar with exclusive Un-Ninja moments and Real NinjaGo celebration in all-new funny NinjaGo set promoting photos, and a NinjaGo sticker book(s), which still leaves room for the NinjaGo miniseries, NinjaGo movie sequel, NinjaGo coloring book, NinjaGo cardgame(Traditional deck, not the NinjaGo set cards), NinjaGo Majong, NinjaGo sudoku, NinjaGo OldMaid, NinjaGo Air-Operated Oil Pump with Extension Kit.(For your NinjaGo economy sized car), NinjaGo Chips Ahoy! Ultimate Street Jam Gritty Underground Dance-Off-War Poster. I think this branding is getting a bit silly. And that's just the first wave. That'd be awesome, would remind me of the Rock Monsters. Wonder what that would look like. Like a TOTALLY NINJA Atv?
  5. The golden age of the Printed Brick. Sure do miss that age, now we have the age of stickers. Review some of the new racer sets in twenty two years WhiteFang, and tell us how those stickers are holding up. Fantastic review to go along with a great little set, adore these awesome old school racer sets. They've got, that 1980s cool.
  6. They're from the movie District 9, I believe their called prawn. (Here's the scene that was recreated in Lego form above, as it was in the movie.) I'm pretty sure they're aliens, but you might've uncovered a subplot for the sequel, robots disguised as aliens.
  7. Fabehaft, I thought these were Lego figures, are they really custom made? They look fantastic, seriously excellent work. Love the one on the left by the way.
  8. That would be amazing, especially if their 1:1 scale. LDD, what does that stand for... Lego's Dipsy Doodle?
  9. Right-O, back to topic. Defending the Earth Dragon, huh. Well that certainly sounds interesting, I thought you were always supposed to slay dragons in the Lego themes. Terrain vehicle in 2506 with a skull So many interesting set names, with names like these I wonder what the sets'll look like. Guess I'll have to wait until 2011, or at the least until some leaked images make their way to the internet. Nuckal ATV , When Googling Nuckal, I came across a link to Brickipedia which said (s?)he's part of the NinjaGo line. And when I Google ATV it gives me all-terrain vehicle for the definition, I knew Ninjas had some pretty advanced technology for their time, but I never imagined. With all this advanced technology, I can't help but wonder if set temple fire will include a fire truck to help put the temple fire out, when the automatic sprinkler systems fail. And the Ninjas are forced to make an emergency call to the fire department from their Iphones. With all that considered, one can only assume that set "Smithy" is a Machinery Factory that's being relocated to Vietnam, raising prices is tough for Japanese manufacturers when the quality of their products is suspect after a slew of scandals over dangerously UN-NINJA products, not to mention Japan's factories are getting squeezed by rising prices for energy. Hey you know what, these do sound interesting. I think I'm gonna like this series after all.
  10. Very cool, substantial amounts of detail in this really love all the unevenness in the shacks, the rickety boards, little twisted pieces of scrap metal and what·not. I find it amazing how you bricked the Prawn, with the hands and the minifig legs, and all the trash. The trash, man it's awesome. Really, it is, take that hunk of scrap in the lower left hand corner. It looks like twisted, ugly mangled metal. Trash, and that debris, the rubble, wreckage, ruin and litter. It's all trash, man. And that's hard to make in Lego! You captured the essence of the scene, and made it into Lego. Sculpted the essence, with bricks. And with that, I tip my hat to you sir. Fantastic work, I look forward to seeing more MOCs from you.
  11. Looks like my neighborhood when the kids find out people are handing out Peppermint Starlight Mints. Very nice scene, well built train car, adore the roof of it. Very clever how you built those birds, the minifigs are just fantastic. And the base looks nice n' solid, smooth too. Best of luck in the contest. Side Note: Is that Crocodile Dundee up there, on the sign?
  12. That video is BADASS, awesome intro! The Nexus looks fantastic, I really love all the smooth side panels, red seats with black stripes and open roof. And the grill n' tail lights! If Lego releases anouther RC Car, I hope it looks like this.
  13. Thanks for sharing! I've never seen his mocs before, he makes great vehicles. That's a really cool technique, it'll really come in handy. Hope you don't mind if I add this technique to my repertoire. Once again, fantastic Transport Submarine. And thanks for sharing.
  14. I agree, these dark pictures really capture the spirt of the holiday, but maybe you could give a little more light (to improve crispness and visibility) and then and some shadowing around the edges of the pictures and adjust the image saturation and brightness, to retain the Halloween feel.
  15. Cool, I look forward to seeing the new parts I saw in the preliminary pictures up close. They certainly look different from anything Lego's ever produced.
  16. You're right there, I thought I could see all the details from pictures provided, but I never noticed that a mata orange Inka chest-plate was used, looks fantastic! And the two phantoka jetpacks use behind the stabilizers(?) and also, very nice construction on the stand. Best of luck in the contest, though I doubt this vehicle would need any.
  17. That torso looks finsihed to me, just gotta work on these 'till something "clicks". Though the limbs as they are look like they'd belong in a lego set, never discount authenticity. IMHO he looks great, lots going on here, but not too much as to look busy, he retains the elegance of simplicity. And everything fits together well enough that he looks finsihed. Best of luck in the contest.
  18. Hey, wow. That's absolutely spectacular! I adore the thruster design toward the back the the vessel, clever use of the engine holder peice(?) it really ties the whole ship together. The front of the ship? Fabelhaft, and nice use of the weapons holders(?) and hammers on the bottom of the ship. Just have the crew watchout from the submarine's one natural predator, the blimp! submarine hunter. Also, one a side note, are those really black pieces? They looks suprisingly metallic.
  19. Didn't know that set sold badly, Well thought-out design, fit together nicely, aside from balancing issues I thought it was one of the most unique builds in the Bionicle line... "but it sold badly because kids were like all "ew cooties!!!" Though I can see that. Best of luck in the contest!
  20. I thought that might be the case, where else would you put all the loot? Still looks a little unfinished, though it is how Lego would make it, the sacrifices made for the sake of realism. I thought this was intentional, it looks like one of those CAT Construction vehicles with the protruding cockpit. Best of luck in the Villain Factory Vehicle Contest.
  21. Hey, cool vignette! Really liking that chair design, and the mirror is awesome. Also like the "toothed" bricks around the base, the bed looks cold and futuristic. Fits perfectly Side note: Is there actually a mirror piece, or did you just polish a brick.
  22. Well thanks for the good news! Faith has been renewed. If by we, you mean our houses and if by explode you mean packing em' to the limit with Lego bricks until they explode... Then yes!
  23. Fabelhaft, these look great. Lots of detail in there, 90mm Flak gun is my favorite. On a side note, man the police sure are well armed these days.
  24. Looks like it. Isn't that the site's tag line? Never thought I'd see this on a lego website. Really, I'm shocked.
  25. That's how I imagined it. Smart how you tied your models together, greatly increased believability that this could be a Lego line.
