  1. Salutations and welcome to Eurobricks, lorax! Some very cool creations in the brickshelf folder, I especially like the Vegemite Jar, unique build. In any case, good to have you aboard! Hope you enjoy your stay here with us at EB. And in case I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening, and good night. (Truman show reference, couldn't resist )
  2. Hope I'm not too late. 23/ Serpent Ruins by Siercon and Coral 2 Points 27/ Ninjago Red Castle by ACPin 4 Points 28/ The Excavation of the Fortress of Ra Ahmin Ka by Tervlon 1 Point (So many fantastic entries. )
  3. I count four. This moc is fantastic! I really adore all the details, the man-eating frog. The dragons, and best of all the plants. Fabelhaft swamp setting, reminds me of the forrest/swamp levels in Devil May Cry 4. Excellent job on this one, had a fun time looking at all the details, best of luck in the contest hope you go far! Also fantastic technique using Rakshi shells(?) for the snake's coiled body.
  4. How about Code Lyoko! Bad jokes and references aside. I'd absolutely love a Hogan's Heroes or Armored Core set line!
  5. Very nice! Sleek even though brick built. Top-side guns and cockpit are the best parts.
  6. Wunderbar mouth! Awesome how well the character's captured here. Brilliantly built body, tons of detail. That would have to be my favorite part, despite the fantastic mouth and reverse joint legs. Overall, very accurate solid moc.
  7. Solid build, not much looks out of place here. Meshes well, lots of detail and thorough armor without looking cluttered or bulky. Personally I prefer the Knight with the helmet, I think it helps in tying everything together.
  8. Excellent pose ability, while keeping a realistic scale. Also, cool color scheme Looks like a prehistoric panther to me. Thought those pieces looked new-yet oddly familiar. Awesome model, love to see more primal models like this.
  9. Fabelhaft! Always nice to see Bionicle art. As Jetrax99 said, clever compacting Kaita Akamai into the scale of a toa. Well done, overall. Clean shapes, good color combinations and shading. And I love the sword, but I think it should be a little longer, to be in scale with the rest of the toa. Also, would love to see a drawing of Wairuha. Practice makes perfect! Keep it up.
  10. I've never played minecraft, but I'd say that's a pretty accurate representation. Very cool abstract monster.
  11. Sleek. I especially love the brick built signs. Couldn't have put it better myself. I'll be waiting (impatiently) to see the interior.
  12. Woah! Are you taking notes, Lego? This is one of the most fantastic town mocs I've seen in awhile! Expertly built, I love all the detail My favorite parts would have to by the wrought iron door protector(?) and curved stone wall.
  13. Cosmo Kramer, Charlie Sheen and Jack Nicolson! Fabelhaft 'figs! Perfect to make any city a bit more colorful. They can't handle the truth!
  14. Wunderbar! Absolutely fantastic moc, would love to have one of these in my city. I adore the tranquility of the scene, detailed yet abstract. A peaceful medium between the two. My favorite aspects would have to be the roof-tops and guard rails, brilliant. I'd love to see more mocs like this one!
  15. What a cool car. In both real life and technic. Excellent find, the user (Legogil) has some fantastic models in his photostream. Thanks for sharing!
  16. Similar shape, but something tells me the armor just wouldn't mix with historical theme(s). However it'll be interesting just how Lego uses the piece. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see that lōrīca segmentāta armor in Lego.
  17. Excellent observation. The piece looks great with the hockey print, and decent as Sci-Fi with that yellow Darth Maul(?). But, IMHO, it's too smooth, flat and organic to look believable enough to pass of as historical or fantasy armor. Hope I'm wrong though.
  18. Brilliant. Funny strip, nice flow to it. Though, by the design on the cover it looks right side up. The gleam(?) in the eyes really makes it. Very cool, I'd like to see more of these.
  19. "I really want to add some Prince of Persia sets to my collection, but mainly just want them for parts, so I'd like to snag them on clearance/sale." A couple months back my local Walmart had the entire line on clearance, around 35% off. Not sure if they're still on clearance in most stores. As for checking for Lego sales/clearance... This would probably be a good place to start. (Well, that's the only source I know of. ) "I think there's a thread like that on this site. (don't remember where I saw it, sorry! xP ) " Did I post the right link? :P (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10116)
  20. "Your profile pic is the best"

A rather dashing photo, I must agree!

Now if only EB had a Col. Hogan or Sgt. Shultz.:P

    "I love Hogans Heroes!"

As do I! My favorite show.(Well, along with Tour of Duty.)

  21. Fabelhaft. "This gave me a chance to try out my new photo setup." Pictures look clear, nice burnt edges. And the white background looks great. "A little rhinoceros foot soldier." Great detailing put into the Rhino, clever use of the flag, and the black piece underneath the flag tying it all together. Nice use of the Grey clamp(?) for the ears, and also of the blue tooth. Very cool , and much better than one might think when creating a creature out of block at this scale. "The chest monster, I was surprised not to see any other builds quite like it already." Surprising indeed. Awesome chest, really. Would complete any dungeon, sorcerer's tower. Question, can the chest still close? "The little dragon." Surprisingly good. Amazing how good it looks considering the scale, best use of Indy's whip yet. "Hopefully I'll start cranking out some more mocs soon." I'll watch for em'. Keep up the good work! "-maybe this will start a new line of ravenous storage containers." Let's hope. Space could use some too. Edit: That fancy quotation tool sure does take alotta space.
  22. Very nicely designed flamethrower, clever use of the launcher piece(?). It flows smoothly and integrates well with Furno's color scheme and proportions. Although I would suggest replacing the neon green Bohrok eye with a silver, or black colored version. And I adore the flame-canister, perhaps for continuities you could add two flame canisters vertical or horizontal on his back for storage?
  23. This is awesome. Words can't describe how much I adore this design. Looks sleek, powerful yet (somehow) retains femininity. Fabelhaft leg and feet design. Especially the clawed feet. I love the different forms, arms look fantastic. Great silhouette, build and pose-ability. Keep it up.
  24. "Hey. haven't seen you around much Klink."

Bad news from the Russian front (so close now, considered calling it the German front), paper work's flooded the office...prisoners showing up late for role call, the Luft Stalag is in shambles. Burkhalter's breathing down my neck, my friend Hochstetter's under suspicion of treason. I'm walking on thin ice..and I ...

  25. Love this speeder, I prefer it to the Furno Bike. Much more fitting to the Herofactory story IMHO. Bionicle/HF vehicles can be hard to pull off on this scale, but this is pulled off nicely. Not to mention it's in perfect scale, and the actual HF sets fiet on it. The speeder also has that old school sci-fie look. (Which is awesome) Love the use of brick-plates. If possible I'd like to see a picture of a default Hero 1.0 on the speeder.
