  1. I bought the Milano from Amazon.ca for CA$75, regular $90 up here.
  2. Thanks, yeah I'm going to pick up the Milano very soon. After watching JangBricks review and hearing your input, I quickly decided. I would go for the Mirkwood Elf Army. The pirates sets seem pretty lackluster and Mirkwood has more minifigs then Laketown but otherwise they're pretty similar in structure.
  3. I have a 3-Way tie between what set I should get. -X-Men vs The Sentinel + Kopaka Master of Ice -Quinjet City Chase -Milano Space Ship Rescue I'm torn because of my love for the X-Men, getting the Vision, and the great reviews for the Milano build.
  4. I'll try and post my collection sometime this week but in the mean time, I have 3 Star Wars ships set up on the top of my dresser and have placed tall Star Wars action figures overtop like they're guarding it haha Then behind the Mos Eisley Cantina I have a crocheted Yoda.
  5. I agree that we deserve more molds for this line but I think LEGO kind of just pulled a "We need a small polybag set that comes with preorders, what should it be?" "How about a little raptor type thing? Kids think raptors are cool!" "Yeah but what do we call it?" *Checks Jurassic World Website* "How about Gallimimus? It shows a small dinosaur that runs fast." "That'll work."
  6. Also this isn't really LEGO related but allegedly our new Avengers team (at the end of AoU) will be Falcon, Vison, Scarlet Witch, and War Machine led by our star-spangled man with a plan Cap and Black Widow :)
  7. I decided to play around on bricklink and eventually settled on the following for a Skyfall Bond: I wish that it didn't have a red tie because I was going for his outfit during the whole scene at Skyfall ranch where he wore a tie that matched his suit but this is the best I could do. Also the tan hands would have to go. Love your project and work
  8. The other curveball is that we're supposed to get new team members for the Guardians in the second movie. So if they become main characters then that adds more minifigures too :)
  9. Yes the UCS Slave 1 is fantastic and I do like the T16 SkyHopper. Good point! Thanks
  10. Absolutely awesome! The tiered look is awesome as gradually decreases in width. Really good job
  11. Wow! This would all be so helpful I just have everything in a big container that I kind of separate out while building. Might have to pick up one of those little storage containers from Lowes
  12. Thanks I really wasn't sure about that sail. I'll check out the Island Extreme line EDIT: Now that I checked it turns out to be 6734 "Beach Cruisers" from 2002. Thanks so much!
  13. I'd like to see a custom of that jacket as well, it looks great and reminds me of his speed
  14. MapleBricks in Canada is good. He was my first order and everything was very efficient and packaged nicely
  15. What are these two things? I know that the fan thing is LEGO but I'm not too sure about the windsurfing thing and accompanying wheel. Thanks
  16. I really wish we could get movie versions of the X-Men characters in LEGO Michael Fassbender's Magneto suit would translate great into minifig form and Wolverine wouldn't be too hard, just a white tank top and jeans haha.
  17. I look forward to picking up Rey's "popsicle" speeder Also is this new X-Wing going to be specifically Poe Dameron's ship? I hope it is, so it doesn't feel like an unnecessary reboot of the 9493 set
  18. Am I the only one who finds that their is not many interesting Star Wars sets out right now? I guess it's because I'm not familiar with the Rebels TV series and so many sets are based on that right now. Extremely looking forward to 75093 Death Star Final Duel this summer though, looks amazing!
  19. How do you think the minifigures look compared to their real life counterparts? Personally, I prefer Quicksilver's suit in minifig form haha!
