Funny you should say that, I was just looking through MOC pages looking for something, where I came across an X-wing MOC a lot worse than mine (still looking for the link), and the comments must have been from guys in their class, as they where all commenting as if it was the greatest thing in the world. As for criticism vs nitpicking I think it is the method of delivery that makes the difference (but it can be hard to tell on the Internet ).

Well done apemax it's instantly recognisable as a Nebulon-B, and the multi colour approach doesn't bother me (someone who also would struggle with finding enough bricks ). My only suggestion is maybe move the greebling at the front a bit closer to the start of the strut, and make it a bit longer, and make the strut 1 plate thicker, and 2 studs longer using this. I do A whole series of TIE's Avenger, Aggressor, Defender, Experimental, Phantom, Clutch, Captor, Crawler, Scout etc.

It would have to be grey, Lego wont chrome the whole ship, and unlike the N-1 its all chrome.

Not to junior mod but don't you think bumping a thread last read on the 24 November last year just to say oh nice might be a bit pointless, However as you both appear new, as a general rule of thumb, don't bump threads older than 1 month, unless you have something really good to say. This has to be one of the best minis definitely. lots of great colours, and a great looking design. I think it look better than the system scale attempt. (Shame about the lack of studs though ).

Nice one lysander, the floating effect is really great. And I like the BARC customizations, you've done, and especially the lightsabre holder on the lead bike. However the green baseplate could do with some rocks, for instance the bikes look like they are swerving round something, so maybe add some rocks there. Well done.

Right before this topic gets locked. For the most part I am happy with how this April fools day joke turned out. But first. Sorry fallenangel309. This MOC was not a bash at you. I, and I'm certain many others greatly respect your lengthy, well researched, and expert advice on different MOCS, but especially the X-wing. This thread was, what I thought, a bit of harmless fun. When deciding what rubbish MOC to do for this thread My mind went to the recent ho-ha over KielDaMan's BARC (which spawned the accuracy thread that I also refer to in this thread), I was originally going to do a BARC, but in the end I decided to do a X-wing, being the most famous craft in SW. If I had have gone with the BARC I would have thanked KielDaMan and DobbyClone, but because it was a X-wing I decided to pretend that EB's resident X-wing expert fallenangel309 Had given me lots of help with this via PM, this was to enhance the joke and possibly fool people into thinking it might actually be a real X-wing MOC. I purposely didn't reply to you suggestions, as you pointed out in another thread it is hard to tell if someone is been sarcastic online, and I didn't want to start anything untoward. For the record you have done nothing to me, its just as this was a X-wing MOC (in a manner of speaking) I thought of you. I will also PM this to fallenangel309, just in case He doesn't read this thread again. As for everyone else thank you for your kind and mock-serious suggestions, that continued this joke all the way through to half 10 the following day. Once again Sorry fallenangel309.

That sounds quite a reasonable set, about the size, price, piece and fig count of the swamp speeder. They have Chewi, the Bosk head, and the Ahsoka head, and for the most part the speeder that I can remember (only having seen the episode this morning ) can be made without and special, or new bricks.

Sigh We all know what the average male thinks about every 10 seconds, at least from the past few pages we do, I just didn't expect in in bricks. That's not to say they aren't funny, some of them are, but it just goes to show. (BTW I'm not knocking anyone's funnies at all, just making a point about the sudden number of Dark SideTM Funnies.

I thought about it but I couldn't find them in the correct colours, and as the title says, it needs to be as accurate as possible. Does anyone know what colour the flick fires on the real Incom T-65 X-wing are? If you can help thanks a lot. Oh it is surprisingly swooshable, for its heavy detail. I tried to upload a video but YouTube is playing up today for some reason .
