Johnny Thunder and friends set out to another adventure. This time road is going by sea. This is S.S. Venture based on Peters Jackson King Kong. The ship is about 75 studs long. It's old because budget is low. :-) https://www.flickr.com/photos/158283415@N03/32169762038 I hope next year I'll show you where they reached.

First I've seen Jungle Book motion picture (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLK01ilqFds). Next I read the novel. Next I bought Jungle Explorers Jungle Halftrack, and a lot of monkeys. And I build this:

Some where there is flying a little island, with a little monastery. Three monks started astronomy observation. Everyday they are impatiently awaiting night, to start discover mystery of the universe.

Thank you for visit and comment! It's mixed many polish baroque churches. But mainly is http://wiki.eanswers.com/pl/Nieśwież http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/c5/Нясвіж_Касцёл_Божага_Цела.JPG/1000px-Нясвіж_Касцёл_Божага_Цела.JPG It's probably more than 10 000 pieces. It would terrible hard to build, even if I make instruction. Some parts are not connected, only blocked by other bricks. 3 layers of bricks behind then, and it's durable. :-)
-
It's a early baroque church built on the plan of the cross topped with a dome. Scale is approx 1/100. No interior, because of parts used for fixing windows and doors. And there is no way to show it anyway.

My favourite is: http://brickset.com/sets/6086-1/Black-Knight-s-Castle I never had it. :-(

Hi, this is my entry for this year Expand The Winter Village Contest. Church is slightly slower than 32 x 32. Base plate is just about 40 x 32. This year I made an interior. :-) Details are available in this gallery.

Lovely building. I love small churches. Why photos are so small?

Very big and very nice. You should do better pictures on a white background and show some details. This buildings deserve to it. -
[MOC] Tibetan Monastery
Jellyeater replied to Jellyeater's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thank You for kind words. I only inspired by photos of Tibet. http://brickset.com/sets/7409-1/Secret-of-the-Tomb I have to find a bigger place to live first. But I'm thinking about something just about half times bigger. I love classic sets. -
The biggest disadvantage is only two photos. It's lovely MOC. Cool roofs.

Where is admin, when topic is need to be closed? :-) You find some bright sides of the situation, it doesn't means that this is a good direction. Good side is that we have new minifigs. Bad side is that this terrible sets are only a part donners. I didn't build any of them, and I didn't buy ship, because of awful sails. Good parts, but terrible design. When I look at Ninjago sets, I see that there is a few brilliant designer in TLG. But any of them design 2015 Pirates.
