As a child i never had real lego, it was not sold at that time in my country. Latvia at that time was in soviet uninion. But ... there was something like that. One day my father brought home something like this. I remember, that there was logo on bricks, something like BEPE. But i can't find anything like this. And i think that it was from Germany (east). At the motor i'll have to move that yellow 13 pin bar by one stud (first picture in this post), so it will be more complex. Added some rubber (loom) bands for better control. It was not returning completely. On the other position this is done by shock absorbers spring.

OK, thank You. Maybe this could also help to improve connection between gears. But i will try to put more paralel gears, also close to motor. Motor now will be the weakest link ... :( But i don't have two XL motors.

Where? I dont have any. Yet ... I just found possible solution for gears. I will stick together two http://brickset.com/parts/4107543 (i think, that i had still two) and use in place of that yellow connector http://brickset.com/parts/4519010 In this case i also have two remake that slider for switching from driving to turning.

Yesterday ... Main (ground) switch Biggest problem here On skid steering those cant keep load (marked with red) and jumps over. I could add nome more gear (blue), but then I need 13 studs long axis . I have only 12 long. There is also nopossibility to join two together. Then I have to shorten or make longer weelbase. Now the weelbase is very good. There is also possibility to make more complex gear mechanisms. This evenning will not be boring ...
