I have too many favorite Mavel figs; I can't pick just one.

Well there's very little evidence for that, and since he's not currently active in the MCU the Team-Up set doesn't count as an MCU hero team-up.

I think it releases worldwide on August 1st, not like the other summer Marvel sets which went worldwide on June 1st except in America, right? So I'm pretty sure it won't be easy to get one earlier unless a store accidentally puts them out or something.

Did you photoshop the helmet on, or is it an official picture?

Maybe the feature is to like put Doctor Strange there and when you hit the switch it pushes up on his cape and sends him flying? That's what it looks like to me, but who knows. I'll be getting the Sanctum Sanctorum, Tanker Truck Takedown, and Ghost Rider or Doc Ock sets on the 1st of August (or a bit after). I'll have to wait for the bridge. I'm also thinking of getting Rescue from Ra's al Ghul especially because it's only $30 not $40 like I thought.

The problem is, Vision is an android, so he doesn't have an ever-changing costume like Cap, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, etc. So I think this is a pretty good update.

I'm in South Africa and I found all the new City, Nexo Knights, and Marvel sets. Couldn't buy the new Doc Ock set, though. Does anyone know if it's $40 or $50 in the US when it releases in August? I calculated the exchange rate and everything else was the proper price, but the Doc Ock one was $50 and not $40.

That's quite accurate. I wish that they would release Phoenix in a normal set (like they did for Green Lantern, Green Arrow, etc.) but it's pretty unlikely. All the awesome exclusives that I'll never get make me cry inside.

Looks like the figure could be interesting, but I won't be too broken up about it especially compared to other SDCC Marvel figures.

Are there any pictures yet? That Steve Rogers Cap sounds interesting. Does anyone know if there'll be a set, too? Like last year was Throne of Ultron, so maybe we'll get a Civil War exclusive set?

That might actually have worked better- maybe a big glass window with a circle print or sticker to show the designs.

But why? Giant-Man is Ant-Man grown to several times his size. He isn't just taller, so that minifigure would look terrible. The Giant-Man we got is already small in proportion to the size of him seen in Civil War.

I agree with all that. I would love Groot in that style! Right now, my issues are posing him with the other Guardians because he's so big and weirdly built.

I think a molded head on a normal minifig body could look good. It depends on the legs though. In The Hobbit sets, Lego just made a big head for Beorn instead of a bigger body and it worked okay, so hopefully they'll do that with Groot. I also think that the limitations of minifigures specifically affect Rocket and Groot- because for the first movie's sets, Rocket was oversized and so was Groot.

Multiple people have mentioned how it's a retail exclusive for many months. Go back before the picture was even revealed and everyone knew it was a retail exclusive then too.

I was looking at the DC sets organized by new ones, and I saw an official image of the Ra's set listed for $29.99 and arriving on August 1st. I didn't see the same for Tanker Truck Takedown or the Sanctum Sanctorum.

I know the Ra's set is already listed on Lego's website, but I haven't seen anything for the Marvel ones yet.

You can still buy the Hydra Fortress Smash set for a decent price on BrickLink, so if you want the whole set you should go ahead and buy it.

I swear to god, if the SDCC fig is Gwen Stacy, I'm going to cry and punch the wall and then spend hundreds of dollars on one.

People were discussing forcibly removing the part from his head; I think that's what he was mentioning.
