  1. Man, you jumped on that fast. I noticed my mistake and made the edit within 30 seconds of it posting!
  2. A Toys-R-Us near me has Series 16, Series 17, Disney, Batman and Ninjago minifigures available. They'll eventually sell out I'm sure, but I've never seen so many different series available at the same time before. - MJ
  3. Many thanks to Itaria for running this game! I'm satisfied with the outcome, even if the winner wasn't the Diver or Hazmat Guy.
  4. I've got one word for whoever is making those giant "mini"figures: Galactus.
  5. Go, Scarecrow! Of the finalists, my favorites were Diver, Hazmat, and Scarecrow. Since my first two favorites were so horribly eliminated, I have to hope my last remaining figure makes it to the finals! Still can't believe the Diver didn't win it all!
  6. I can confirm that the box I got at the San Diego Comic Con had three complete sets of minifigures: one set per row. So basically yes.
  7. I didn't read through the entire review, so my apologies if this has already been covered, but I picked up a sealed box of these at the San Diego Comic Con this weekend and sorted them today. Each row contained a complete set of 20 figures. I'm not sure if Lego packs all of their boxes the same way, but if they do and you want one complete set, all you'd need to do is pull one row from a newly-opened box and there you'd go! - MJ
  8. I like the Satyr, but the Tiki Guy gets my vote. I hope he pulls through!
  9. I like the Elf and all, but I'm hoping there are others like me who would prefer to see the Hazmat Suit Guy, Classic Diver, Aztec, or even the Tiki Warrior take the grand prize.
  10. I always thought it would be fun if they did a decade-centric series. They already have a bunch of molds from Dimensions they could use for a "Series 80(s)". Sloth, E.T., Marty & Doc, the 2 Gremlins, the four Ghostbusters, Mr. T, David Hasselhoff, Beetlejuice...
  11. Argh! My all-time favorite figure (Hiker) gets ousted by one of my least favorite!
  12. Even if there ends up being 2 genders with the same costume, the bump code on the package should be different for each gender. Open one, see which gender you have, then check to see if the bump code is different on the next one you feel. If it is, then you've got the other gender. If it is the same, move on to the next bag. - MJ
  13. Yikes, that was a tough choice. If I could vote for multiple figures, I would have voted for Chicken Suit Guy, Gingerbread Man, and Pretzel Girl. And if there weren't so many mummies in other sets, I would have had to include him, too. In the end, I had to go with the Gingerbread man. - MJ
  14. If nothing else, this contest is proving to me that my tastes are not in line with the general public. :D - MJ
  15. Well, it wouldn't be first time in my toy collecting hobby that I was concerned about something then saw the final product and thought "OK, that actually looks pretty awesome. Sold" Hopefully this turns out to be one of those cases!
  16. That would seem to fit the bill and is exactly what I was about to post. While I enjoy the costumed characters, a whole series could feel like overkill. But we'll see! Guess it depends on how good they are. - MJ
  17. If I had to guess, which I don't but I am going to anyway, I would suspect that, as this will be the 40th anniversary of the minifigure, the series will be themed as such, providing us with updates of classic minifigures.
  18. According to the employees at the two Lego Stores near me, Harry Potter sets are the #1 license people come in looking for which they do not have.
  19. Ah, very cool. Exactly what I had in mind. Nice work, Robert8! Get on this, Lego :)
  20. I think an obvious figure they haven't made yet would be 3-D moviegoer. Just have a guy with 3-D glasses and a box of popcorn accessory. - MJ
