Lego Ninjago 2016
BrickJagger replied to LegendsOfNinjago's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I certainly do, but why is it that there are only some names for the 2016 summer sets listed? You would think that it would be a list of all of the names or a list of just set numbers, right? -

^ I hope you mean Lotr and Hobbit Dimensions Packs. Lego hasn't made a regular Hobbit set in two years and an Lotr one is three, meaning that the theme is done. Come to think of it, Lotr might actually be the longest "Zombie Theme" ever. I define a "Zombie Theme" as a theme that's dead but due to technicalities/speculation/disbelief/petitions is considered to still be active by some. Most themes are only in a zombie state for a short period of time and are officially ended when Lego says so, but for some reason Lotr continues to stick around. But this isn't the Lotr thread, now is it? Nexo Knights doesn't have to be the only Castle theme going forward. While it is clearly Castle ( ), it certainly doesn't cover all aspects of medieval life. As mentioned by many, things like a village (Which we never really got from Castle anyway for the last thirty years except for 2011), regular horses, and normal Castles are sorely missed. Lego could make a basic, Castle 2013 style theme that would be able to cover those things with maybe four or five sets a year, while NK churns out about forty a year. Conversely, I can see exactly why they wouldn't do that. The last line sold rather poorly, and I'd assume that that was why NK was given a green light even though the idea had been floating around since FE. Some newer users here might not have been here for this, but there was just as much hate from the Historic themes fans for Castle 2013 then as there is for NK now. "It's too childish!", they said. "It's j.uniorzed!", they said. "More Lion Knights?", they complained. Then Nexo Knights come out and those exact comments were posted again. This time though, Lego took a different approach. They followed the Ninjago guideline on how to make a successful theme, and it looks like NK is gearing up to be just that. Instead of a boring rehash that barely anyone here had use for, they took the "Creative" route that was essentially kickstarted by the Lego movie. So, after that rant, Lego could make a j.uniorized Castle them aimed at younger kids to run alongside NK, but don't be surprised if they don't.

Welcome to EB! To answer your question, If you really want your Lego back, find a way to approach him in person and ask him then. If he's ignoring you because he wants to keep them, you should let it go, since he's owned them for years and might have gotten attached to them.

Keep in mind that, come 2016, it will be six years since PoP first hit the shelves. With no exciting competition in their brand, Lego might be willing to give Middle-Eastern Castle a shot.

Well, since Jestro (sort of) controls the Book of Monsters and the Book of Monsters controls the monsters themselves, I guess there's a loose chain of command going on, right? Jestro is important because: A: We have to have a mandatory "origins" episode to show how he turned bad in order to waste some time B: How many kids want to pretend that the big bad guy is a........book?

The last picture!!! KK2, anybody? Also, it's quite clear that Knighton Castle is not a spaceship, as some here have theorized.
