Yeah I was surprised to see them on the shelves considering I had troubles with the Civil Wars sets and street dates. It does vary at my store a lot though. Sometimes I can get it early and sometimes I can't.

Found a bunch on the sales floor at Target yesterday and picked up 10. @TechArtist I guess it depends on what you're looking for. The big headed figures are easy to differentiate from the regular figs but not so much after that. I plan on going back tomorrow to get some more. Also this is kinda related and I'm not sure where else to ask but is series 15 still difficult to find? Because there was three of the side shelves filled with them above the Disney ones. Tried to get Shark guy but sadly i mistook the shark nose for the Animal Catchers net

I'm assuming it came out the 1st in Europe but here in the US I checked and it says it comes out Tuesday on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Neat. Just finished watching Justice League vs Teen Titans and I am even more excited for all the upcoming figures. I bet there's no correlation but the only absent characters from the film in minifig form are Blue Beetle and Raven which both should (Raven not yet confirmed) be coming out this year, another character I won't name because it's kinda spoilery but we are also getting, and Trigon (although I don't think the LEGO group would make a Satan minifigure is so I wouldn't expect him anytime soon.)

Wasn't there another LEGO DC Batman movie announced a while back. In the same "universe" as the Justice League movies but specifically for Batman. That would explain the Nightwing in a polybag. Those exclusive figures also have a way of being leaked early

Thatls interesting considering the main reason heroes get different costumes every movie is because toy companies make them to sell toy as new because of costumes.

Went to Target early morning and finally got the two sets pulled straight from the back. The woman helping me up front was super helpful. She worked at a LEGO store back in Virginia (if i remember correctly) and I told her about several websites (bricklink and brickpicker) she could sell some sets she's been sitting one for probably 20+ years. Toywiz is awful. They over-charge by almost half retail price for any early release or sold-out product. Then for any other product on the shelves, they charge about $10 more than retail. I really don't understand how they are a business. But speaking of Walmart I called and surprisingly they had the Airport Battle on shelves but none of the others. Decided to check the another Walmart and they had the Cycle Chase on shelves but nothing else. There really isn't a system to them. Seems like a matter of picking the right set at the right location.

Nice picture. I've checked all my Walmarts but they don't even have the place holder tags out. It's pretty pitiful how they have the LEGO aisle half empty for weeks only restocking what's already on the shelf. Plus I'm convinced they would just tell me the same thing and can't sell to me. Wish I lived in an area like J2G where don't care about street dates since every single store near me does. I'll just wait till the 1st to get them. I'm just more disjointed with the fact that I paid for a set and can't get it till later, from a store on the other side of town, where even if I cancelled the order and got a refund it would take like a week to get back to me.

Saw a comment that J2G got the Crossbones set at Kmart and totally remembered about them and my store which is on the other side of the city but the closest one. Got online and found out they had the Black Panther set for sale and I could pick it up today so I bought it. and waited all day for my email saying it was ready for pick-up. Never got it so I called them and they saw it was still processing. Then they talked with the stocking person and he told me that he wasn't able to give it to me, despite already paying for it, till the release date. So long story short Kmart has some of the sets online but if you order them you can't get them till the 1st.

This question has been asked multiple times here but I'm pretty sure the answer is no. There have been a lot of DC Animated movies too come out within the last couple of years (Batman Bad Blood recently came out and if you haven't you should check it out because it's amazing and my favorite of them all so far) but they've never released a LEGO figure with them before. Now I'm not saying it's impossible but the only movies we ever get minifigs in are branded LEGO DC (and other?) films and that one Hobbit movie. Because of that one release and J2G said we will be seeing her "very soon" I'll give it a 7.5% chance but it's more likely she will be released in a Dimensions pack with one of them having the name TTG being strongly hinted at being Teen Titans Go (away you awful follow up of a great cartoon. Like how the heck does this get 3 seasons but Young Justice only get 2 urgh.).

I think you're focusing too much on the negatives of this set. For one they correct a lot of mistakes from previous minifigs. Scarlet Witch as correct coloring magic pieces and a better fitting hair piece plus a cloth piece to represent her coattails (much better than printing it on if you ask me). I stated it before but I'm pretty sure the reason why Rhodey has Cyborg's head is because the original head is no longer in production, along with the Iron Man 3 sets (which will be three years old this summer) but the Cyborg head is in mass production because of the Dimensions minifigure. Plus I don't mind that much because its behind a completely new and amazing War Machine helmet and suit. A much better representation than the one before which looked more like the Mark 2. We also get 2 microfigure Ant-Mans. The tower isn't a bad build and the pieces that come with it are very usefull, especially the white walls and the dark trans-clear slanted windows. Let's not forget the amazing brick built minifig Giant-Man. That's much better than anything anyone expected. I will admit the Quinjett is a dissapointment but only because we've already gotten two better builds for it before. I think the biggest issue with it is that it has to much in the head and the cabin and doesn't have anything for the tail. It looks like 2/3 of a ship. In no way is this a perfect set. Perhaps it would've been better if they cut some things and made it smaller and cheaper but who knows what specifications these sets have to meet before they go into production.

I've tried calling two Targets but have gotten nowhere. I guess it's nice knowing that they will be available the day of release but there's just something so irritating about knowing that they are there so early but you can't buy them for over a week. I guess it does help with scalping. How unfortunate would it be if someone bought the entirety of new sets in one store in order to sell them online. However knowing my local Walmarts do have the sets it's only a matter of time before they get on the shelf (assuming they ignore the street date) but also my Walmarts are terrible at putting things on the shelves even on release date.

Didn't think there was a pattern to these but there was. And apparently all my local Walmarts have all the sets. Wonder who I have to talk to to see if I can get them. I tried at my Target today but they guy who told me they would be out today said "Sorry haven't seen them out yet. Try again on Monday." So I called when I got back in my car and had someone check the back. Sadly they wouldn't sell to me because they had the street-date signs on the box. So I'm hoping Walmart is more lenient, I'm just not sure how to go about it. Talked to a sales rep at Target and he said they are getting the Civil War sets within the week and will be on the shelves Friday.

That's horrible. I believe it will be given out in some other fashion in the future. The Electro polybag just suddenly appeared out of nowhere later in the year and I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up in mass supply at Toys R Us' sometime in the future.

It's a rough guest but taking into account it costs the same as the set does, $29.99, has Captain America in name, is currently sold out in my local area and falls in line with the rest of the DCPI numbers I think its a good guess, even if it does seem out of place.
