Sorry this is late. I've been ill recently, so I was only viewing not posting, in case I posted something odd in my light headed state! Great Quest Sandy! It was a great length, managing to keep me interested, without over staying it's welcome. Thanks for giving me Hoptet, too! Just a few questions about the Quest: If we returned to the port at night, would we recieved anymore rumours, like the one Jaws gave us? Would there of been any way of convincing Baba to release Bluto? What would of happened had we gone to the Guild of Invision first? Do Scaro and Hoptet now have the ability to go on Quests as NPCs, or will they serve a future purpose?

"Not forgetting, Ms. Cinna, that the Necromancer, Mr. Nemeshtar, promised to keep an eye on him and report to you on how he is faring. With his reports, Queen Salome's support and army, and your families magic, it would be possible to rescue him." -

Vote: Noriko (Eskallon). She's been so quite, and unhelpful. Yesterday we were told she would be able to speak up more, but I haven't seen any evidence of it. If anything, this might spur her into speaking more than once. -

*sniff* Well, does the Red Ninja belong to the green mutineers, the purple secret agents, a pink neutral, the blue masons, or the orange Yakuza? If they belong to either of the former two, we know they have at least two members. One killer, and one janitor. *sniff* Not surprising that someone talks up after their allegiance is questioned. -

"Another passenger? Well, I'm ready, I assume everyone else is. When this new passenger arrives, we'll be set to go." "My apologies, Ms. Cinna, Mr. Docken, I was preoccupied with conversing with Hoptet. Though I have excellent news, he'll be travelling with us back to Eubric." -

[Cinna, would you like to sell your Quaterstaff too? Here, I'll give it back to you! Bart, do you mind if I keep onto the Mockthril Bow, just incase we bump into any more enemies?] -
It's good so far, but I do have some criticisms. I hope none of this appears unkind! I'm no expert, and haven't an literary qualifications, but I am a reader, so here I go! I'm doing a bit of assumption here, not knowing if this is during the dream, or the evacuation of Ireland, or somewhere in between. Try not to repeat the same words too often. It makes the read a bit... bland. I realise with a word like mist, there are very little replacements. Perhaps replace one of them with a Metaphor, such as (thinging on the spot here! ) "Martain turned and stumbled through the pellucid veil"? Also, it's hard to define a 'European street'. All of the European architecture has some differences, with varying buildings and architectural styles dating from Roman/Byzantium/etc conquest. Ireland largely lacks these, due to many invading forces never making it that far, so Ireland has quite a distinct style. Unless of course, it's a modern building in any European nation, in which case they are mostly relatively indistinguishable from American architecture. Not knowing where in the novel this takes place, I can only imagine Martin is quite tired here, as I can't imagine many soldiers being lazy enough to slack off in an abandoned (?) cafe whilst on active duty. If this is in the dream, in what capacity is he in Ireland? Does he dream of being a soldier, or does he just dream of his current-self visiting this strange place. All round good description. You've allowed me to build quite a vivid picture, using very few words, which I as a reader appreciate. Sounds like the perfect woman - Nice eyes, a great smile, cute features. A little too perfect, perhaps? If you're trying to emphasize Martin's attraction for Luna, perhaps try writing this part in the first person? I can't fault any of this; we've all been the blushing man, winded by a woman's beauty. I assume from the fact that Luna is disappearing back into the mist suggests that this takes place in the dream? It may seem obvious, but I'm not sure whether it's that, or some form of smog/gas attack/explosion-generated-dust created by the invading force.

"Perhaps we'd best inform Captain Squidraken that we'll be ready to sail tonight, after Mr. Docken has picked up his goods, and we've relinquished the last wish powder, just incase he needs time to prepare his ship." -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
Professor Flitwick replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I hope we start seeing some more Jedi who were established before the Clone Wars series, like Bultar Swan, Tsui Choi, Coleman Kcaj, and those three who were created for the original Clone Wars series. It's great that we've had who we've had so far (Ki-Adi, Seasee, Kit, Plo, etc), but I hope they bring a few lesser known Jedi in. I'm looking forward to seeing Oppo Rancis though. It'll be interesting to see how he talks, moves and dies (I imagine he'll be like Even Piell, considering they were both in AotC and deceased by RotS). -

*sniff* Although bare in mind, they maybe Secret Agents trying to get rid of Mutineers, or vice versa. -
xxlrocka, you're not allowed to just suddenly create yourself a new weapon, otherwise everybody would be walking around with WP:100 weapons. All Metasimians have ties with all other Metasimians, in order to make the Metasimian invasion even easier!

*sniff* Yes, but what would it tell us? Just because 'x' goes after 'y', who is revealed to be a Mutineer, doesn't mean that 'x' isn't a scum in the form of a Special Agent. Revealing one tells us very little about others. -

*sniff* Well, I've highlighted several people I've found suspicious, and on the first day highlighted those amongst us who weren't talking. I'm not sure what more you want from me, Akio; I'm not in contact with the investigator, so I can't bring up any for-sure candidates for lynching. *sniff* Whilst I'm not certain of Shizuko innocence, I feel I must point out one flaw in your arguments, Setsuku. *sniff* So was I; several of us weren't sure if we could lynch people based on something that happened outside this thread before this all started. -

Looking past Bluto, Thothwick stares at Baba and takes a step forward. "We may not be leaving any time soon. Say we find that broomstick of yours, would you release young Master Ziegfried in exchange? It flew off on it's own, so it must clearly be of some sentience. Surely if we find it, it would be worth relinquishing the boy?" -

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

Wow? Dialogue in a Lego game? I'll save my judgement for when I play it, but I always enjoyed the noises the characters made in place of speech. The Joker appears to have a boat, so hopefully that will feature as a full set in the future, alongside the new Blue Robin, and some of those new Joker goons that both appear in the trailer too! At 0:55 you can see what looks to be Mr. Freeze in the background. Hopefully that is an indication he will be featured in an upcoming set too, although several characters (Batgirl, Mad Hatter, Killer Moth, etc) all appeared in the first game without ever being in real sets. -

OOC: Shouldn't I have two venoms? I had one before, and one Cinna just gave me. "I'll poor my six in first. Hopefully it won't require any more."
