was there any book with Leia already? i sometimes have a feeling that she somehow is not considered a "core" character to LSW fans demographic. i mean - dont get me wrong - i know we have plenty of minifigs, she was on the magnets etc. but i'm still missing her being just there "on her own", you know, strong enough to carry the franchise by being the minifig feature of the book. i may be wrong though, but i only have books with Luke and Han, and Palpatine.

do you think there is any chance for Leia?

i'm in UK and to get one i had to buy in the little shop in Poland (thankfully they have online shop as well) get it send to my mum (no international shipments in the shop) and ask her to send it to me. took extra 3 days, and i paid for international express parcel, but it was still worth it, as it added up to much less than UK ebay. suppose my daughter will be very happy this christmas :)

yes, that was a joke. not a good one, it seems :) i'm yet to experience my "lucky find", to go back on the subject. until now my only luck is grabbing sets on ebay for approximately 5-10% off the going price, mostly in auction formats or "make offer" items. bit jealous on that $150 find!

(Hi, first post ;) ) I'm planning to add to my daughters town layout (nothing impressive, 9 32x32 stud baseplates), and have looked at the Lego Dacta 9610 Gears set http://brickset.com/sets/9610-1/Gears-Set as i already have it in my collection. Basically what i thought is i could modify it to create a main themes park attraction, so her minifigs can enjoy a day out - not really planning to change the substance (so it's still most likely going to be a carousel/swing type of thing). Now, i know it may be a shortcut to ask for help here, but i only wanted someone to point me in the right direction. What would you do in order to adjust it's appearance so it fits the town layout, not looking too much as a random technic set inserted right in the middle, and appeals to six year old? Obviously, i got quite a few bricks from different sets, nothing too specific, but usual bucket or two, so i'm not limited to technic bits only. Anyone have any thoughts, please?
