Sorry for being so picky today, but Brickset says that set came out in 2002, so it's not new :-D

I think maybe the set contain Ki-Adi-Mundi (the pointy headed Jedi) because he drives one in the film apparently. So maybe we'll get Ki-Adi-Mundi, Mace Windu and a couple of battle droids and 4 clones? That's 8 figures, just like the Republic Gunship.

The prices are in Euros. And since most people here are from Europe, there's plenty of point in posting them. I'll try and figure out what the price would be in dollars based on Lego's usual conversion rates.

I posted this in the Lego forum, but in a price list for 2005 sets, it says that the TIE Fighter set is just Vader's TIE, but with a light-up lightsaber :(

It's basically an AT-ST, only a little bit taller with some blue highlights on it.

I didn't get a chance to say my opinions on these sets at the time but I will now. Technic - Looks pretty good, with a complicated mechanism in it. But I doubt I'll get it. Yellow Racer - I think it looks cool as a car, but not as a Lego set. Far too <insert that tiresome argument>. Black - Seems too flat, but looks OK. Green/Sliver - The silvery pieces look cool, and I like its curved look, but maybe it's too curved. Grey/Red - Very boring. Orange - Maybe a bit square, but probably the best of the lot. Black/Orange - Doesn't interest me at all. Both of the bikes - Don't interest me. So overall a bit disappointing, but they're not the worst sets Lego has produced.

Four new X-pod sets: There's lime, purple, blue and red.

I like them. Especially the Police Station. Here's what I think: 7237 Police Station - This looks awesome. Very big, and it comes with a cool helicopter! I also like the rocky looking prison cell out the front. 7238 Helicopter - We've already seen this set, but it looks pretty cool (but not as cool as the one in the Poilce Station). 7240 Fire Station - I think this set could have been better, but it looks pretty good. I like the small fire truck that comes with it. 7241 Fire Car - Not really very interesting to me. 7246 Digger - It's alright, just not really my thing. 7235 Motorbike - It looks a bit too much like the 4+ Motorbike to me, but still looks quite good. It appears to be the same one that's included in the Police Station set. 7245 Police Van - We've already seen this one as well, but I think it's good. 7236 Police Car - Looks very good for something so small. 7239 Fire Engine - I like it. It looks like it might have a mechanism for lifting the ladder up. The light up torches look good. Can't wait to see them. And I've just looked back at the original list and we still have the following sets to come: 7242 street-cleaning car 7243 building sites set 7244 speedboat with engine 7248 crawler excavators 7249 mobile construction crane

Someone on FBTB said he saw a picture showing that you push down the head of the minifig to make the lightsaber light up, so I'd guess that the battery is inside the minifig. I PMed him, and he said he'd try to get a scan of this picture.

Megablock?? Why would 1000stiene post about megablock? Maybe you mean duplo? I think that on Eurobricks the language filter uses 'megablock' instead of a certain other word ;)

These sets say to me that lego is going back to some old roots and producing some more town themed sets. These certainly look interesting, it will be good to see what the farm and post office are like. I think these sets may be 4+ sets. There is already a fire station in the World City section, and i can't see Lego making a farm set. Erm.. are these like the big bionicle style figures that we saw this year? I cannot think what else they copuld be, except single minifig packs. I think maybe these might be "improved versions", where the Knights somehow get better, kinda like what they do with Bionicle sets, if you understand me. A few other random thoughts from me: - It looks like the "clone man transformation" set we heard about a while ago is actually going to be "7250 clone Scout Walker", which is pretty obvious what it is. - The Jedi Starfighter set comes with a Vulture Droid, which I think is something that attacks the ship - Not really a thought, but - ENZO FERARRI!
