You are all aware that this is just Hogwarts Castle from Philosophers Stone right? The castle’s appearance changed multiple times with each director. LEGO haven’t edited Hogwarts, they only cropped the picture so we can’t see the boathouse.

Just because she isn’t that well made doesn’t mean that her inclusion is bad. Also it’s definetly not a Hogwarts carriage as it is Grindelwald being transferred from MACUSA and hogwarts has absolutely nothing to do with that. This has not been confirmed. Dumbledore taught transfiguration not DADA so he should be in McGonagall’s old classroom. No idea what he is doing in Lockhart’s old classroom.

I don’t understand why people are complaining about unique and special minifigures? Seraphina Picquery is an amazing inclusion! Let’s just enjoy it. We all know that a young Dumbledore along with Jacob, Queenie and Tina are gonna come sooner or later...

So happy that McGonagall has a double sided head. If any character deserves it, it is her. She is by far my favourite character and the figures in 2002 and 2010 didn’t quite do her justice. This one finally does. I would have preferred her with a dress piece though. Maybe for the DLC..

It's not necessarily sexist. I doubt that the LEGO group would choose to exclude Hermione because of her gender. But I agree. It would definitely be odd.

Love how the uniforms have different designs. A bit sad however that they LEGO again again again haven't included their capes...

I bet the basilisk is the snake that Malfoy conjured when Harry and Draco faced off in the duelling club. Otherwise it wouldn't make any sense. The basilisk is in a wrong colour and it is way to small. The tower honestly looks horrible but I'm so excited about the great hall and the new Dumbledore. Interesting how they really are focusing more on student life at Hogwarts rather than the action scenes with death eaters - like they did in 2010. It seems as though LEGO kind of are going back to what made LEGO Harry Potter so exciting in 2001. BTW I absolutely HATE McGonagall's legs.

Wait there's 6 sets plus a D2C??? Thought only 5 sets and the D2C had been confirmed..

I really hope that we are getting 2 different Dumbledores from the Potter films. The Michael Gambon one could be in the great hall with his blue robes while the exclusive Richard Harris one could be in D2C set. It would be cool if we got a completely other design for him with a new face, orange/lilac robes and a new hat piece..

I absolutely disagree. I would hate to see those characters be in the CMF series. We have had 10 different versions of those characters and the characters to be included in the CMF series should be characters who we aren’t getting in any ordinary set. I’d love to see Lily and James as well as the house ghosts and the Dursley because we wouldn’t be able to get them in other sets (especially since we are getting the Ford Angela in another set).

Agreed but i think it might be possible for them to include some of these more rare things in the d2c set since it is for the more enthusiastic HP fans.

I think a lot of people are having way to high hopes for this. I'm sorry to break it to you but we aren't getting the other common rooms or the kitchen or stuff like that. LEGO are probably ONLY making the most important scenes as a Ravenclaw tower wouldn't make any sense for the younger audience unless some major event happened there in the films. They most certainly won't make anything from the books unless it's some kind of small fun hint.

We are not going to get all of those sets and I definetly won’t expect it nor would I want it. I think th most famous parts of Hogwarts should be in the D2C set like: Great Hall, Dumbledore office, Gryffindor tower, DADA, potions, slytherin house and the clock tower. Something like this: All the other locations could be single builds. I think that would be the best solution.

Honestly it’s been so many years since the last sets so I’d rather they’d completely redo everything. Everything could do with an upgrade. Also with the d2c set they better be making a complete Hogwarts set. Lego has evolved enough to be able to pull it off withput being incomplete.

Honestly I love that model. I almost think it couldn't be better. Also having been at the studio tour a couple of times and seen the model I think the model really nailed it. I really want LEGO to completely reinvent this theme. You can see how much has happened with Star Wars sets since 2010/2011 and I honestly think it would be a shame for LEGO to not go in a different and new direction. I think the 2010/2011 sets were great back then but now I want more.

Also the face doesn't look like Emma Watson. Her outfit is good though. But both face and hair needs an upgrade!

I know a lot of people hope for a new Umbridge, but I kind of like how she's only in 5378. I do however, hope for an updated McGonagall! That green dress is way to outdated, she has the black dress from PoA and up until the last one and I absolutely despise the Hermione figure from 2010. It doesn't even look like Emma Watson so she better be updated as well...

I didn't like the Dimensions Harry and Voldemort looks odd without nostrils. I really want LEGO to surprise us all with new designs, but seeing how they reused the Jack Sparrow minifigure (almost with no alterations) from 2011 again this year, they'll probably just reuse the old designs as well for HP.

Honestly, I think they all need a completely new upgrade. It's been 6 years (now) since we got new sets and if there are coming new sets next year it will be 7 years. Just think about the difference between the minifigures and the set design from the 2007 Hogwarts Castle and the 2010 Hogwarts Castle, and that's only 3 years! I will be so disappointed if they are just going to reuse the 2010 minifigure designs.
