  1. Honestly i could imagine the Dobby set being the viaduct bridge. The scene did take place near one of the courtyards and would make sense with the piece count.
  2. Interesting with 13 minifigs. My guess for the minifigures are: 1. Harry 2. Dragomir/Ron 3. Bellatrix/Hermione 4. Griphook 5. Bogrod 6. Generic goblin #1 7. Generic goblin #2 8. Gringotts guard #1 9. Gringotts guard #2 10. Mondungus Fletcher 11. Snatcher 12. Death Eater 13. Either Bill Weasley / Hagrid / Quirrel or Generic wizard
  3. This LEGO set is absolutely gorgeous and completely worth every penny. I do hope that they continue with these D2C sets instead of making normal play sets for the theme. This way LEGO can’t create accurate and detailed sets for the target audience of the theme rather than focusing on play features for children (when in reality this theme isn’t necessarily a great theme for children when they wouldn’t read the book at that age and aren’t mature enough to watch the movies). Also it’s astonishing how many people are complaining about the price considering the incredible amount of new pieces and elements. I think people need to understand that every LEGO set doesn’t have to be affordable or accessible for everyone and if you can’t afford it then that’s just too bad. There are many things (and sets) I’d like that I can’t afford and that’s not LEGO’s fault or responsibility. As a business case this makes sense for LEGO and if you can’t afford it then you’re just not the target audience for the set. Sorry to say so.
  4. Honestly this has been going on for years in a LOT of countries. Even in Denmark where I’m from. But as any HP fan knows; ‘life isn’t fair’. Learn to deal with it. God knows the rest of us have with MANY years of practise. There are more important things to be angry about than LEGOs.
  5. Me too. Im thinking about calling LEGO...
  6. WB have hired those people to portray the founders. I absolutely think LEGO will base their design on whatever WB have on the characters. The chocolate frog cards are official afterall.
  7. Didn't expect them to look this good! They are all definitely a must buy. It also looks like Umbridge has dual molded legs.
  8. I agree! Also, I like how people are already boy cutting the set without even seeing the it first.
  9. I know a lot of people are disappointed by the castle being minifigure scale. At first I was too but I think this could really be amazing. I've always loved that HP dvd box set that came with a mini Hogwarts and I'm guessing this castle will be bigger than that. I can't wait to build it and at this price it's going to be very accurate. I hope that they are going to include the four founders in normal scale as exclusives for this set. Or at least give us some exclusive minifigures.
  10. I would prefer if they had the boathouse as the “entrance” which has now become a pretty iconic part of the castle though they changed it in film 8 ? And under the castle could be a nice chamber of secrets. I honestly could see them do this. It would be reeeeally cool!
  11. I have a feeling that LEGO is going to approach the D2C in a WWoHP kind of fashion. The WWoHP in florida doesn't include every part of Hogwarts that we see in the films however it does contain the most important parts. To a 'simple' fan it would seem complete. I think and hope the D2C will look very much like that. That way the set will (with it's price and piece count) be able to pul of something amazing and big. I also think we should get Lockhart and maybe the Michael Gambon Dumbledore or maybe the original one with a hat and hairpiece.
  12. The trolley witch also appeared in Goblet of Fire though she was played by a different actress. It seems to me that a lot of people think that the theme is called 'Wizarding World' which I don't think it's called. I think this theme is very much like LotR and The Hobbit which wasn't called *Middle Earth' either. The 'Wizarding World' logo is JK Rowlings which is used in all of her 'HP' work..
  13. Release tomorrow? What happens tomorrow?
  14. I think Seamus looks great. If character weren’t going to agent a new design it should be him. I just like how he kind of resembles the actor. Other characters such as Nearly Headless Nick and Quirrel deserve that extra attention instead. I really do like Filtch’s design and face but the hair is absolutely awful. He looks nothing like Filtch with that hairpiece.
  15. A picture of Oliver Wood has leaked on Instagram. He looks pretty good..
  16. I kind of disagree. I quite like the hairpiece for him. When thinking about Flint from the first film the minifigure and the actor look quite alikel.. Also I love the Ron throwback. I do wish they had given his minifigure leg printing though...
  17. I could actually see them doing PD for the sky battle in Deathly Hallows with a thestral and some brooms...
  18. Again. Peeves was in the film but they ended up cutting him from the final film so it’s not just based of the books. In fact I once heard a rumour that they even featured him in some of the later films so that when they eventually for some huge anniversary could release all the scenes..
  19. No worries I can be a bit sharp as well. It really is a sensitive subject for many potterheads! ? yeah it was quite sad to see his portrayal cut from the film. I’m sure Rik would have been amazing - maybe they will release it some time.. hope to see him as CMF!
  20. That’s weird had the exact opposite experience. Everyone loved it. The only people I’ve heard bitching are the people who only read the script, but everyone has different taste. He is included in the sets 4705 and 4709. He was quite a big part of the film but unfortunately Columbus (director) wasn’t happy with him so they ended up cutting him from the film. I guess it is one of those things that happened so late in production that they couldn’t change the sets..
  21. It is absolutely true - WB does not have anything to do with the play but just to point it out. A LOT of fans like CC. The people who yell the highest are not necessarily right. The play has received a lot of praise and fans are standing outside everyday in hopes of someone cancelling their tickets not to mention how it's breaking records constantly with it being sold out for months. I am yet to hear someone who has actually seen the play and not just read the script say it is terrible.
  22. And yet it is canon - confirmed by JK herself. I love it though it is a quite interesting and very unique story to see live. Don’t care much for the book though. But what I think everyone can agree on is that there probably never will come anything from CC in a set. We might get the children and adult main characters as a specialty but not the characters from CC.
  23. I loved the play and I'm a big time HP potterhead and have been for 17 years. It wasn't perfect and it definitely created tons of plot holes in terms of canon but the films did that as well! Let's not pretend the films are perfect and that they don't contrast the books bc they do.. If you take the PLAY for what it is which is a play NOT a book then it is quite enjoyable and really well made.
  24. I really hope that the Whomping Willow set is mix between the scene in CoS and PoA. I think with Snape included there might be other characters included as well such as: Lupin, Sirius, Wormtail and Hermione. It would also make sense with the high price.
