Damn. That's a good looking wall of minifigs^. After looking at the Nick Fury comparison I'm glad I bought the SY set. It's just a shame about the Ultron. I much prefer the DLP Ultron.

Here's a closer look at the Dargo Avengers set for those who bought it. Sorry if the images are too big, I'm not sure how to change the size.

For me I started collecting genuine Star Wars/minifig series/Lego movie minifigs. I was able to buy all the characters I wanted through Bricklink and a few sets at a reasonable price. Even though I'm a huge fan of Marvel and DC, I couldn't afford to buy every minifig they released and my OCD would crave for them all! When I discovered bootlegs I began building my Marvel/DC universe. So I can't say the existence of bootlegs have changed my purchase habit of Lego because I still buy genuine SW gifs and sets and the minifig series. If anything I have started buying more genuine Lego as cheaper Marvel or DC figs find themselves in my Bricklink orders that go on to replace the bootlegs. EDIT: Also, recently I have been buying a lot more Lego parts to paint MOCs (completely inspired by agoodfella77, thanks!) to fill in the gaps of my Marvel/DC universe.

Its so good seeing that leaflet! But kind of disappointed that there aren't any original figs by Decool. I like the printed on heads. Would love to see them without the helmets!
-
I also really like those lego head capsules that they come in.
-
Decool's is tolerable. SY and all others is horrible.
-
So glad to see Decool back! The only bootleggers that can make a decent mould of Superman's hair.

For me its worth it. I was originally just going to buy a Sentinel from eBay at £10 as I had most of the minifigs. But for £11 I managed to get a good quality bootleg version along with the Blackbird and 4 minifigs for customs or to sell so I can get some money back. But it depends on yourself. If you wont make use of the rest of the set it's best to just buy an official Sentinel. Which you could probably find even cheaper on Bricklink. Also, I despise that Wolverine headpiece. But at least it has the correct face printing.

I bought it from Aliexpress slighlty cheaper here: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/SY308-Building-Blocks-Super-Heroes-X-MEN-Avengers-Minifigures-Famous-Heroes-Assemble-Figures-War-Car-Bricks/32314206761.html I ordered on 18th April and it arrived today. Probably the fastest an order has arrived from AE. That was like 6 working days!

I have been refunded the full amount for two orders from fun club and I expect the same with the last two. The seller still messaged with 'Hello, your project has been sent. Thank you for your patronage' after the refund had been issued.
-
Maybe these bootleg companies are never 100% accurate with the moulds cos they need something to separate them from Lego for legal reasons. Decool has the hip connectors which are hidden. SY's difference is the thick arms. However, the vehicles in the vehicle sets allows them to use normal shaped arms. Just a thought. Great tip for Dr Strange. I hope I can find a Nizam head on bricklink. I think that would look really good. Decool, where you at?? I miss the waiting for the mystery figures on their minifigure sheet.

The tracking has been showing up as 'Departure from outward office' since mid march. I've also got 10 days protection left. I doubt I'll be seeing any of the sets I ordered. I'm just waiting for a response now.
-
It's been over a month now and others on here who have ordered from Fun club have disputed and were given a refund I believe.
-
I disputed my order with fun club but the refund got rejected and he replied 'Hello, your project has been sent. Thank you for your patronage'. Err.. Thanks? What do I do next?
-
I'm still waiting for an order from Fun club. I hope they deliver as I've ordered sets I wouldnt normally buy. But they were super cheap so why not. I like how the torsos have nothing but the batman and superman logo. It would make a nice custom me as I own a grey batman tee and also a superman tee lol
-
As soon as I saw the Batman I knew you'd be the first to comment. You've been asking for it for a while now lol Where did you find it?
-
ah thats clever. my brain is also picking it up as yellow arms but I still prefer it. might do the same. thanks

I've seen a couple new SY sets on aliexpress. Like SY308 which is the X-men vs Sentinel set. Or have they been out for a while? Probably a cheap way to get an army of sentinels.

I went to a car boot sale near Birmingham a while back. One guy had a stall with bootleg figures. I asked if they were real lego (I knew full well they were bootleg and exactly which bootleg company) and he said they were. The donut even had the SY stands with the figures and had the nerve to claim they were real lol.

I think with Groot's thinner body he'd look weird if he was the same size as the other big figs. Can anyone do a side by side comparison with a big fig?
-
The tumbler was fun to build. Despite having way more pieces than the Bozhi chopper my fingers were not sore by the end of it. I'm actually surprised how good it was to build. At times I forgot it was bootleg. Are there any other larger decool sets?
-
The tumbler has arrived today and a friend of mine has received his too. Looks like there was nothing to worry about. Also for Antman, I found that the SY flash head looks good. Although he does have a big grin.
-
I've received my SY 16 set from super blocks with an extra yellow deadpool
-
The tracking for the Tumbler set from MRF trade seems to be working now. Also the 16 set from super blocks arrived at import customs in the UK yesterday. According to track-chinapost.com I don't know what that means but I'm glad to know the sellers have at least shipped the sets.

The thing that bugs me about Cyborg is the grey under the left side of the hairpiece which also looks a little chunky. SY seems to make some weird moulds of hairpieces. I hate the SY superman hair mould with a passion lol
