It's a Shock Trooper from the new Star Wars Battlefront game copied from this set: http://image.biccamera.com/img/00000003274278_A01.jpg?sr.dw=600 https://40.media.tumblr.com/1335c56a96fe792b888e6736f61a1a9a/tumblr_nz2kq6vDrL1sko4r1o1_1280.png

I think Mark 19 Tiger came in that experimental SY set. I cant find the set number though. I'm sure someone else will. Pogo figs looks decent in the pics I've seen. Im gonna take a leap of faith and buy a bunch of them including the shock trooper. Any photos of it?

Looks like a Civil War themed set. I hope Black Panther and Falcon come next
-
Penguin http://s.aliexpress.com/QzyiY3m2 I could be wrong but the only decent blue and grey Batman came with the 4pc vehicle set by SY.
-
God bless you. If anyone has anymore links to single sale Spider-Man figs (negative zone, 2099, etc.) I'd be really grateful!
-
Are the blasters a Lego mould?
-
Ayyy lmao http://www.aliexpres...archweb201560_1 I think the blue and grey batman is the same as the one in the SY 4 set but without the wings. The quality is much better than Bozhi however I dont think you can get them seperatly.

Thanks for the heads up! Having a good look through many sets and finding lots of things I didn't wanna pay the extra price for. The Kwik-E-Mart for example, has many exclusive printed pieces in stock like the Krusty-Os cereal. The Snake minifigure that's exclusive to that set goes around £20 on ebay and I managed to get it for under £5. A few other nice pieces that are in stock; new Darth Vader head and two-piece helmet, Starfire's pink hairpiece and Beast Boy's hairpiece from Jokerland set, Heath Ledger Joker's Anakin hairpiece

Thanks No ones complaining. It's just personal preference and we all have the right to customise our bootlegs the way we like them. I like more simplistic figures so my Red Tornado will get plain legs. And the rest of the set I'm gonna pass on to someone else who prefers detailed leg and arm prints.
-
Is the SY set on aliexpress yet? Can someone post a single sale link if they find one. I gotta get that Red Tornado. I might switch out the legs for something less detailed.

I have the Decool Green Lantern figure that you are after. I can help you out if you live in the UK.
-
Do you live in the UK by any chance? I wish I had looked at this figure more closely instead of opting for single sale for just Ra's and Deathstroke.
-
Normally I'd complain about having to buy the full set for one figure. But I'll happily buy the full set just for an SY Red Tornado. Is it bad that I want that Hitler figure too...

I've been absent from the bootleg scene recently as I've started replacing a lot of my bootleg DC/Marvel figures with the originals. To begin with I think I had 2 original Lego minifigures under the superhero themes; joker and spiderman as they were easily obtainable from polybag promotions. The majority of my DC bootleg figures have been replaced and some random Marvel figures. Without having a huge collection of bootlegs I wouldn't have thought to buy the originals. I have even gone further and expanded my Star Wars collection when I went looking for original superheroes. I didn't stop there and now my minifigure collection has a few miscellaneous additions with the likes of Scooby Doo and gang, Marty McFly, and random figures I did not need. I fully support the idea that bootlegs bring greater overall awareness of the real thing as you put it. The big hole in my wallet agrees too. I had to dig deep into my pockets for some minifigures like the Juniors Green Goblin. That only made me spend more and buy every Lego spiderverse figure. I'd appreciate it if someone can write me up a list of Spidey figures that only bootleg make. I miss the price quality of bootleg figures. Thanks in advance

Thanks. Managed to narrow it down to only the 3 I want. But now I'm debating whether to get Doctor Fate. Although I gotta give it to Dargo for making use of the Clone Trooper helmet to save them from a custom mould. Without it we probably wouldn't even have the option of having Doctor Fate.

Digger has reviewed the Arrow decool set if you wanna take a closer look

Huntress from the show used a crossbow. So there's that...

Here's a few X-Men characters I made a while back but never got time to make use of them. Looking back at them the lines are probably too thin if they were shrunken down to minifigure size. Especially on the females. I quickly put together Professor X with thicker lines and I think it looks more to Lego standards. I wouldn't mind designing a few more torsos for this group if you like them. Also note that Nightcrawler and Gambit are not my designs. I can't remember where I got them from. I also stole Mystique's skull thing from Concore: https://www.flickr.com/photos/concore/14964382358 Everything else is mine. I only really use Photoshop for my digital paintings. What would I need to create vector designs?

Does anyone know what Batman figure that is? http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Decool-7108-506Pcs-Building-Blocks-Super-Heroes-Avengers-Age-Of-Ultron-Minifigure-Batman-Green-Lantern-War/32397135435.html?spm=2114.01020208.3.50.nGMPth&ws_ab_test=201407_2,201444_5,201409_2

Also Thing has the FF emblem on his belt. Most of the old sets didn't have that.

http://cache.lego.co...ons/6079482.pdf Page 8 has instructions for the lego chair. You can easily build it or a variation of it with left over bootleg pieces. The bootleg chair is different to the official one. Btw. I think it's great Lego made a physical version of a character like MODOK. I'd love to see them do more comic characters like Arnim Zola or Baron Zemo. However, I doubt they ever will, with Zola appearing in the MCU and Baron Zemo set to appear in Civil War ?

You may notice that the Stormtrooper on the left has wonky legs. Although they do connect into the hips the feet are pushed towards each other. Compared to official Lego legs they are slightly wider and look weird. You can see on the image below the difference between the legs and hips as I've replaced the figure on the right with Lego legs. They fit way better. The Stormtrooper on the left is probably the worst out the bunch. Fortunately, the rest of them were printed much better. The print on the body isn't perfect either. If you look closely it seems as if the design is almost stamped on. The lines are not as sharp as most bootlegs. However, at a glance most of these imperfections are barely noticeable. The plastic is different from most bootlegs. It has a very matte feel to it, very noticeable on the plain black head. Apart from the helmet and the arms there is not much shine to it and feels quite rough too. In comparison to other bootlegs, I'd say they are more durable than Decool/Dargo, but not quite as close to Lego as SY/DLP are. For army building I'd say they're perfect. They look great in numbers. Most of the things I have mentioned are barely noticeable without looking very closely at them. I would definitely recommend them. Sorry for the large pictures. Fixed: Click images for closer look.

Does anyone know where this build is from? http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/GUDI-130pcs-Police-Patrol-Helicopter-DIY-Toys-Building-Blocks-Sets-Large-Bricks-Building-Blocks-Sets-Bricks/1357357_32419099277.html

Dargo is the only company that have announced a sdcc falcon and a spider woman. But that could take some time.
-
Probably the same reason bootleg companies keep doing the avengers. They're popular and well known meaning they'll sell more. Everyone and their mothers will tell you about Hulkbuster. Iron Monger, maybe not. You could also follow the instructions with grey pieces. I think that'd make a pretty decent Iron Monger. I managed to create an Iron Man hall of armour display, from SY213 with instructions I found online, with all leftover bootleg pieces that came with the figures. It's what helped me decide not to buy them.
