As it wasn't available in our local Lego Store I ordered an UCS Slave One (75060) yesterday ...

Bought that Imperial Assault Carrier (75106) yesterday ... and the best is: for only 75 EUR (129,00 regular price - reduced to 114,99 minus 22,- Payback voucher minus 15% sales) :-))

@Bear and @Cyanide I've read it somewhere - those star destroyers are all painted white ... It was on one of the novels, where somebody wanted to paint an privately owned ISD in red and that was not possible, because red was not available in that huge amounts, only the white that was used for the star destroyers.

75055 - Imperial Star Destroyer. Bought it today in our local Lego Store ... My personal goverment/department of finance (my wife) allowed me to buy it ... Oh, I almost forgot: They gave me 30312 in the shop as a little present :-)

@irispen: Nop, it is A3 format. For all non-european reader: 29,7 cm high and 59,4 cm wide. And ringbinder And heavy ... I will post a picture for all those who do not believe it.

@october: I have seen that grey MOD of that set plus hangar live in our local Lego store ... Need that too!!!

As Christmas is approaching with large steps my wife decided to buy 10188 as a gift. What you have to keep in mind if you decide to build that little set ... this thing is huge. 50 studs in diameter to be exactly. I do not know where to place it when it is ready. Usually I build all bags which got the same number on one evening. Here all the bags of one number fill a large box. For those who are interested in the manual: It is 260 pages thick and of A3 size. Any questions?

After the dark times ended I started (again) to build Lego about one year ago. But only Star Wars models. If you want I will post a list of my sets. My old creations are still in a large box at my parents home. If I find the time (and drive 450 km one direction) I will grab them and post some photos. Any questions? Feel free to ask.
