  1. I'm going to have to be careful here, as I am a notorious Disney hater. That is a lame and boring title, your "rebels" show is lame, your "stormtroopers" look depressed and what with ignoring the bulk of the canon?!
  2. It was inevidable that we would see those new launchers in a hailfire. Too much rebels stuff for me, and those new stormtroopers look downright drepessed. Why not just add some teardrops to their cheeks. And p.s Disney keep your filthy claws off the clone sets. You already killed half the canon.
  3. I do insist, purist. (I have a broader definition of a lego purist than most). Since this isn't the classic bionicle, I don't wish to see any return.
  4. All that just helped to make the universe more real and richer. Now, are we done?
  5. Purist alert! We woo we woo! :) I'm just kidding. The last few posts were getting kinda tense.
  6. What excess rules, lore and terminology? And after this, can we wrap this up? Its getting kinda redundant.
  7. I will do no such thing. Ehem. If I, at only five, could read at a sixth grade level, then a seven year old could certainly read and understand a ten year storyline. Heck, when I was ten, I read at a high school level. Are you implying that kids today are stupid? That they cannot grasp any storyline longer than a year?
  8. First off, I am not whining. Second off, I was at the pointed end of TRUKK NOT MUNKY! Being from the beast era. Third off, bionicle didn't fail, it was cut off (OK, glatorians were a fail). Forth off, what is wrong with complex stories? Those are the best kind, impho. (In my personally honest opinion). But perhaps as a kid would preffered to read medical (and zoological) books over, say, magic tree house, I view the world differently.
  9. Not just the animation, the toys and characterization. Can we drop this? Bionicle is a toyline with ten years of fans behind it. Many of who are adults now, and (like me) don't like the simplifying and kiddifying of the toys and characters they love.
  10. I wish to get the original falcon. Its the one I liked the most, ucs isn't for me and the others just don't do it for me.
  11. Mecheon, it was too kiddy for me. Ok?
  12. Dang. I liked the complex story. :( But I'd be careful too if your bringing bionicle back, having titans this early on could kill of the line before it gets its footing. Save the big sets for the summer wave.
  13. Will do about the dust mites! Back on topic, why are the toa two different sizes? Is it a marketing strategy, let the kids get the not matoran and lower priced to a with their own money, and beg their parents for the three bigger ones?
  14. Mecheon, no I didn't see animated, it was a kiddy homage fest. Worst move Hasbro made. Ehem, let me help you: the mouthparts of a spider are NOT homologous with scorpion pinchers. The mouthparts are homologous with scorpion mouthparts, while the pinchers are homologous with the spider arms, which sometimes end in bulbous sacs used in mating. Appendage dose not mean leg, it means any outgrowth of the body that is used for movement, manipulation of food, and mating. It is even sometimes used to reffer to digits (fingers and toes).
  15. Appendages can refer to legs. Your welce about the brown recluse And no I don't wish to argue, I want this to get back on track. We have strayed too far.
  16. Um, scorpions have ten apandages (eight legs and two pinchers. The homologous organs in a spider are the tiny "arms" on either side of the mouthparts) And yes, ticks and mites are arachnoids. And loss doesn't appear to have an abdomen, just a cephalothorax. And the number of eyes of a spider dose not correlate to the number of its legs. As can be seen in the brown recluse, with six eyes arranged in three pairs.
  17. Um, I know what an arachnoid is. You left out ticks and mites, and loss resembles none of them, as he lacks any defining traits of an arachnoid.
  18. Yay! Arachatomy! Yes this loss thing really ought to be called a head with legs, there is nothing remotely arachnoid about it.
  19. Oh buddy you have no idea...(I'm on the bring back bungie side) Anyone think the new prize mask looks sorta like the fallen? With its narrow face and bulbous forehead?
  20. Well, never mind then. I was never big into comics anyway.
  21. More outlets could only help to bring in more fans, not everyone has a PC. You are right about comics though, their days have long past.
  22. No I don't, and I'm sorry if I offended you, Chro. Why no comics?
  23. Fine, I will give it its first comic, but if it turns out to be not to my liking, there is no loss. I still have the last nine years (I didn't like glatorians) to fondly remember. :)
  24. Skeleball: a building system consisting of thin beams interlaced with balls for the attachment of an outer shell. Previously known as CCBS. Patent pending Dinobrick, all rights reserved.
