  1. I somewhat appreciate them having a consistent theme like this, but only two actual minifigs it's a bit disappointing. I won't be buying it.
  2. A V-19, called it! Interesting that it will contain Ventress.
  3. Interesting developments lately. I knew the first 1000 euros sets would be inevitable, it's just sad to actually see it happen. As for the MTT, fingers crossed it's a TPM one since they are way more iconic (and I don't have one yet). As for the new 50 bucks set, maybe it's a V19 Torrent? If I recall correctly, they were piloted by clones with yellow helmets.
  4. From my favourite piece of EU media, excellent work! How about the structural integrity, is it swooshable?
  5. It would pair up great with the ARC170, especially if it had some kind of exploding function
  6. The trend of more collectible sets and less playsets will lead to devaluation of collectible sets eventually IMO. Part of the appeal of such sets is 'you know that neat construction toy you liked as a kid? Just look at the other (bigger) stuff you can build with it!'. I think without playsets as a reference point, huge sets and botanical collection for instance are just things that can be displayed by other, more accurate means.
  7. Looks like several shades of brown and nougat
  8. Indeed, just one though. As for March, is there any news already? I've been on holiday and my internet access was very limited so I may have missed something.
  9. Question for the experts (meaning you all): how does this new version hold up to older versions? I don't have the Burrow yet and I think it would be a nice present for my wife. But there's also the option of buyin the the one from 2020 MISB for about 100 euros compared to 260 euros for this one.
  10. For January 2025 we have two 'regular' playsets (ARC-170 and Jedi interceptor) and a 4+ playset. In January this year we only had the super battle pack and a 4+ playset. I'd say that so far 2025 looks better than this year
  11. It's not ugly per se, but it doesn't really look Star Wars-y. As if it belongs to another, more generic sci-fi universe.
  12. ^We might just get to 300 within a few days if @MKJoshA would allow us to discuss The Acolyte
  13. For the lack of a better word I'm glad that there won't be any Acolyte sets. Like others have said, it would be a shame if a disaster like that would eat up set slots. As for the increase of all those buildable character/18+ sets, likely it's due to the surge in popularity that Lego got during covid. I wonder if it's just TLC being a bit too slow to pick up on a trend that may have been going downward since then. I'm not sure about this of course, but somehow I expect this disproportionate focus on 'adult' sets to be a mistake. But that's all speculation (for now).
  14. Oh don't get met wrong, I despise the clone bro mentality. I simply wish for a complete crew, and my wish for three generic ones may be influenced by nostalgia for the first version, which I didn't buy back then.
  15. I don't really care about extra minifigs with the ARC-170, I just want three unnamed clone pilots and an astromech. I might even buy multiple of those.
  16. I'm just happy to get an ARC-170 before that happens But seriously, I've been a LSW fan from the start and I've only ever been interested in playsets. I mean for me, Lego nostalgia revolves around playsets and it's this combo of Lego and SW in playset form that keeps me from losing interest.
  17. The ARC-170 is somewhere at the top of my wishlist, so next year's gonna be worth it for that alone. And Jedi Interceptors are always nice. The price however...
  18. I think the midi scale ships should have a minifig included, and the UCS sets none at all
  19. Well that Peridea set is a huge disappointment to me, although I'm not entirely sure what I did expect. I guess I'll leave it at bricklinking Thrawn. The Sarlacc pit might be interesting, although the design of the skiff doesn't really strike me as an upgrade from my precious 7104... I'll have to look if I ever find it for a decent price (which I do realize is a lot to ask).
  20. The playscale ISD seems to have the same box design that SW sets have since March
  21. It seems worth noting that if this Death Star playset is the counterpart of the Yavin IV base, that this upcoming set has a considerably higher piece count. Yavin had under 1100 pieces and the DS apparently over 1500 pieces, at a similar price point. I'm very interested but I'll have to postpone purchasing it for a bit, since I'm still finalizing my move back to my homeland.
  22. I was planning on postponing my purchase of 2024 sets until the May the 4th promo, but I'm starting to suspect that it might be cheaper to take advantage of the seemingly regular discounts and buying the droid carrier on the aftermarket. Wasn't the Sith Infiltrator supposed to be a Lego exclusive though?
  23. I don't like oversized vehicles and frankly I'm a bit burnt out on 501st clones. I already own baby Yoda and I don't care too much for Kelleran Beq. So I really don't know why I like this set so much.
  24. The diorama looks nice enough when you forget that it's not a MOC but an actual set (costing 80 euros at that). The droideka looks good but I'm not interested in those large buildable droids (except when it includes Darth Malak... maybe). As for the Sith Infiltrator, I'm a Lego Star Wars fan since 1999 yet somehow I never got myself a system scale one. I might pick it up at a good discount. I don't think Saw Gerrera is that interesting a character but I don't mind him being included.
