I was actually expecting a womp rat mold like the one seen in the vidio game. If I remember correctly the wampa and the tauntaun in the game were the same as the ones later seen in sets and i was expecting the same thing to happen to the womp rat. Anyway, how the hell are you ment to bullseye a 1x4 rat that has half of its length in its tail. If Luke could hit that while flying down beggers canyan then the death star must have been a piece of cake.

What do you think about the womp rat? On one hand it leaves room for a better animal in 2015 but on the other it would have been nice to have a womp rat. I know they didn't appear on screen but scince when has that ever stopped lego? I onistly don't know what to think. It's a bit of a mixed bag. So, would you have liked a womp rat or not and is the lack of a new star wars animal a dealbreaker?

I don't mean that there arn't enimies to fight, just not rellivent ones. For the battle droids your going to have 12 battle droids against a walker. That's verry one sided. What I meen is you cant just get two sets of symillar sizes that you can create a battle with. My favret thing about the battle packs was that you could create battles from the movies. They are called battle packs, after all. Although, the Senit Commandos would go very well with the asasson droid set from a while back.

I miss the times when lego would do 2 battle packs that were compatible with each other. With the 2015 battle packs you can army build useless troops but not make a battle with them. There is nothing for the geonosis troopers to fight, no threat for the senit commandos to defend the senit against, no whatever the shadow guards and dark troopers battled to battle and no rebel skum for the storm troopers to blast to bits. I think it takes away a bit of the play features that the old ones had. I may not be 10 but you cant deny its fun to swoosh round a speeder making pew pew noises to destroy the enimy ship, speeder, walker.. I bet you've all done it at some point. Even if you don't want to make battles while making pew pew noises it's always good to have an enimy while making a battle scene.

I really don't like the battle packs in recent years. Most of them have been for factions that no one really cairs about. It is the same for 2015. 1 of them has troops that never appeared in the movie, one of them has soldiers that appeared for one part of one level in a vidio game, one has senit commandos witch no one really needs in large quontities and the only good one is the storm trooper one witch has sad stormtroopers. Everyone was saying they would buy maybe 2 or 3 of all the battle packs accept for the storm trooper witch they would buy loads of if it had regular stormies. This suggests to me that people are more interested in normal troops. So, does anyone elce feel next years battle packs are a letdown because of the figures that they allow you to army build?

This year we got a mos eisley canteena set. Next year we're getting a t-16 skyhopper. Do you think that TLG will do what they did with the episode vi tantooine sets but with the episode iv tantooine sceens with one released every wave? I think that it could be possible.

In 2012 we got 0 attack of the clones sets despite it being the 10th aniversery. However, we did get an x wing, a tie fighter, a droid escape and a y wing. Weather or not this was because of the 35th anivercery of a new hope is debatable, however. I personally think that it did play a role.

Fun fact. The aat in the movie actually has 4 droids opperating it: two gunners, a pilot and a commander that operates the main gun. On top of this it can carry 6 droids in to combat. So next years Aat will need some modding. This also means that an average aat carries more droids than this years mtt. For people who are wondering how 500 pieces can be used on a droid carryer. Well, the one in the movie is designed to carry 112 droids and measures 27 meaters long. That's how. Also, an AAT measures 10 meaters long and so this one is rather small.

The rat may be a disappointment, but it might be a blessing in diskise. We've got a new lego star wars creature every year scince 2009, barring 2011. 2009 tauntaun, 2010 wampa, 2012 jabba, 2013 rancor, 2014 dewback. Even in 2011 a slight redesign of the tauntaun appeared. I, personally, didn't want this years animal to be a womp rat so the inclusion of a normal rat makes room for the new animal to be in summer 2015. I recken a bantha because disny wants people to like the OT for vii. As the bantha is the only normal sized creature left to do I think this is most likely. Or maybe they'll do a space slug to scale with the ucs falcon but, for some reason, I doubt that. So don't be sad about the womp rat like those storm troopers obviously are!

I'll probably end up getting the droid transport at a discount, Same with the aat. I'll get the t-16 skyhopper first chance I get because I like the sound of the tuskin. As for the itt, I'll probably end up getting that when I go in a lego store and don't want to leave without buying something. Could someone please tell me what the tuskins gaffy stick looks like? Could someone please describe the AAT, the droid transport, the t-16 skyhopper and the itt fore me? I can't see so my only idea of what they look like is what i can gleame from what you are saying. Thanks!
