  1. I could care less if they're boxes or pouches, actually. I usually just throw the packaging out anyways, despite them having 'good' art or not. They take up too much space and make my room look trashy.
  2. Dang, that worries me a bit. I just spent most of my paycheck today so I won't be able to buy most of the sets if they come out early this month--maybe like all the Toa and that's all until December.
  3. I hope they don't come with vehicles. To me, it sorta-kinda ruins the whole 'tribal-Aztec" feeling Lego seems to be going for if they add vehicles. Though a beast-vehicle hybrid seems perhaps better? I don't know. I just can't see Ekimu or Makuta riding any sort of vehicle. As for the exclusivity of the duo, I hope they come with some kinda' new shade of gold (a bronzy-gold?) or something that specifically separates them from a Protector set, besides the builds and the masks.
  4. But one thing that's good about the price of the 13/18 sets we're getting this year is how generally cheap it is this year, compared to Bionicle G1. (This was brought up on BZPower.) Previous lines of Bionicle would (most of the time) cost as much as $500+ for every single set of each corresponding year.
  5. TTV's Gali review is up, peeps.
  6. They're not going to flip the design for Bionicle, in just one year so why do you expect them too? Besides, it has be said MANY times before on here that CCBS is here to stay.
  7. Come on new Bio2015 info, where are you!? This thread is too young to die!
  8. I'm keeping Onua's coloring the the way it is to anger the perfectionists.
  9. I mean, I wouldn't mind at all if they changed the heads every new wave or so. It gives me new things to MOC with (not that I would be taking apart any of the new sets this time around).
  10. Speaking of masks, do the Protectors have the same heads as the Toa? The answer seems to be obvious. I wonder if the new head(s) style is going to stick around next year and beyond.
  11. I heard that Lego is trying to make the stand 'safe for kids' so as of now, the Skull Spider head/mask is going to be put into a velvet box by the jeweler.
  12. So...Yet another question from Monkey! What would ya'll do, if you won one of the 14k Gold Masks? Personally, I would keep it until someone offers me $$$$ I can't refuse, lol. Sad to say, but I'm not into 'mask collecting' as I am into the sets themselves.
  13. I plan on buying everyone ASAP, lol.
  14. Probably--can't wait for the leaks for those! ;P
  15. Yeah, well. I don't even remotely expect me to get at least 3rd place, let alone 1st in this competition. I'm guessing the winners are going to be Raiden's (he's a brilliant MOCer on DeviantArt, check him out) level of creativity, in my opinion, to place. Though, I can take pride in saying that I at least attempted this thing--I even put in the effort of digging out my Bionicle pieces I put away a few years back.
  16. They're probably going to do a random drawing, story writing contest, etc.
  17. Alright, so...I finished my contest entry MOC. Anyone wanna see it and critique it, before I submit it?
  18. Well, I'm going for the whole 'evil lizard robot' look. And it's roughly the size of Tuma--slightly larger. Though, I keep running into ideas that are too simplistic for the look I want for said MOC. (for the double-knee'd legs)
  19. I know this isn't the place or the time to be asking for MOC advice, (though it deals with that 14k Mask contest) but what leg style is the most favored/unique: werewolf-esque/bird legs, or your basic Humanoid legs? And this is on a larger MOC.
  20. TTV's Kopaka review has been put up.
  21. Probably through MOC contests, maybe a random drawing.
  22. Speaking of monetary value, how much would something like the 14k Mask of Creation, be worth compared to the Platinum Avokii/Gold Hau (2001 version)?
