Care to explain why the "bio-mechanical" part is weird? It makes sense more than anything. Back in G1, Toa, Matoran, Rahi, etc. were considered different forms of life. And I don't think just a plain robot would be anything related to life.

We should be seeing the figures in TRU any day now. Maybe I should go check for myself soon...I'm getting paid today after all lol. I just hope the West Coast doesn't get them last in the U.S.. That seems to happen a lot when it comes to Contraction.

It looks like that Golden Mask competition is finally closed today. I totally forgot to submit my MOC to here on EuroBricks, lol. But at least I I did so on BZP.

Speaking of sunken places, I think it's pretty safe to assume that the story will eventually taking place on another island, city, etc. after the Mask Trilogy years. I would LOVE to see a return to the abyss of the ocean, or maybe...

Your wishes have been granted: The Protector of Water is probably my least favorite of the Protector's. The color scheme is 'meh' and build is a bit awkward.

Eh...Did people actually WANT a review of Kopaka's Power-Up Mode from BZP? I honestly don't understand why they didn't just review a set they haven't reviewed yet, instead of that 7 minute clip that would've taken as little as 2-3 mins in the original Kopaka rev. But alas, I guess they just wanted to do it for "whatever"'s sake.

BZP's 'review' of Kopaka's Adrenaline Mode is up, if anyone wants to check it out. I haven't watch it myself, personally--see no reason to.

$30 for a couple of figures that won't have anymore than 140 pieces combined?! I understand the "two-pack" rarity, and the exotic pieces they'll come with, but they should be no more than $20 imo.

What about the "three years, one mask per year" thing? Wouldn't it make sense to release each special mask with their respective wearer one at a time? (Though, I would LOVE a two-pack of Ekimu & Makuta. It would be just like that special promo we got with those fire and wind Toa we got back in '04.)

I'm 70% sure we're either going to get Ekimu as a set, or at least the MoCr in the summer but not Makuta/Mask of Control/Mask of Ultimate Power. And as mentioned before this, we're only getting six sets after the winter, so it's most likely going to be titan-sized sets and not toa/protector one's.

Nice review! My standing of him hasn't been phased much. I really love him! Despite him being the only major bad guy of the winter wave. I wouldn't be impressed, however, if they did somehow mange to add more of what people 'want' just to bump up the price to $20. Good thing Lego stuck with this design.
