I don’t believe that until I see it. Forbidden planet has them at pre-order for £2.99 and they always stock Lego at the market price. Where did you get £3.99 from? Also, I don’t think they’d sell as well.

I like how moody it all looks. Very sin city-like.

I sold a Velma and Daphne for £27 and £12 earlier. I bought the mystery mansion and sold the figures so the mansion was near enough free. Then I will buy a second one for the mansion and for the figs and see if I can extend the mansion with the spare parts.

Review: 31036 Creator Toy and Grocery Shop 3-in-1
rakky replied to mostlytechnic's topic in LEGO Town
I quite like the mini post office and am planning on getting the other 2 to make a little square type place with a fountain in the middle to go alongside my modular buildings. -

I could do 2 in their sealed original boxes for £46 or without their boxes for £43. Not the best deal I know, but I think with postage and packaging materials it costs at least £6. -
Hi, I have several doubles that are currently listed on ebay for minifigures from the Hulk Lab Smash set (basically I buy the set, sell the figures and then use the bricks to expand my aim base as I want to make a proper big battleground for my avengers). Here are the fiugures I currently have: New Thor x 2 New Captain America Redskull Taskmaster Falcon MODOK Hydra tank thingy (I might have another Hulk next week) I am wondering if anyone has any of the following: The new Doc Ock Luke Cage Iron Patriot Hydra soldiers Series 4 Hazmat guys Joker or Joker's henchman from the new set Bat-girl Nightwing Man-bat Any custom superhero figures from penzore, smallgreenpea, etc.. would be considered as well If anyone is interested in trades then send me a PM I would prefer UK trades, but would consider EU trades as well.

To be honest, the ratio of black superheroes to white superheroes within the Marvel universe seems pretty accurate in lego form so far. The only major player left is the Black Panther; comics have never been the best place for racial diversity, or at least for creating characters of other races that become part of popular culture. DC didn't even have any black characters anywhere in its comics for most of the 60's, not even as bystanders. I would love a lego Shang-chi to add more chinese characters to the mix personally. I think releasing the Falcon and Storm this year is a good step as well, and the GOTG will include a few girls as well.

Just ordered the lab set, it says it should be arriving by Thursday so hopefully it will look as awesome in real life. Can't wait to have a Lego MODOK (I can't believe I just said that).

speak for yourself, not everyone else. And he is entitled to say that he is not a fan of the sets. Personally I like them, I got the Riddler Chase as an early Valentines day present and enjoyed the build and the batmobile especially. But, I would have still preferred more variety in sets and at least 1 non-batman set. 2 batman sets and 2 Justice league sets would have been better. The more expensive JL set could have included batman and then maintained the batman appeal. You sound like a bit of a lego discussion fascist when you tell someone that they should not say anything unless it's positive.

Ah, I see your point. I didn't realise there was a cuusoo project. Clearly there is a massive desire for it. Unfortunately.

Sounds like whoever claimed most fans want a tumbler UCS is wrong. People seem to dislike the idea on here, and I don't blame them. If they ever did a batman UCS then a Batmobile would be the logical and most sort after set; not a vehicle created recently in the films.

Set in America $30 dollars = 4 hours minimum wage ($29) plus 1 dollar Set in Britain £30 = 4 hours minimum wage (£25.24) plus almost 5 pounds. So how does your theory equate? We still end up paying more than in the US despite the difference in minimum wage. They don't pay $50 for a £30 set, they pay $30.

It's worse for us Brits mate, £30 translates to almost $50 dollars. So you should not feel so bad with the direct translation.

The brown and yellow costume was used a lot in the past, during the 80's especially. I would say its quite an iconic wolverine costume to be honest. I've always preferred it.

Unless there is another X-man included in the set. It's probably the same set though as the lightning in background gives the impression that Storm is there.

Did you mean 'I even' not 'even I'? As Mr Sinister is a very well known villain amongst any Marvel comics fan. I am very hopeful for the Apocalypse figure eventually after what you said though.

Well, to be honest, i'd say Mystique, Sabretooth, Apocalypse and Mr Sinister are all at least as well known as Taskmaster or MODOK. Likewise, half the characters included in Star Wars are hardly well known, so I'm sure there will be other villains included as well, it won't just be one bad guy vs the X-men.

What DC/Marvel Hero/Villain Do You Most Want To See Made In LEGO?
rakky replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in LEGO Licensed
Saw those a few days ago, his lizard, rhino and Juggernaught are pretty awesome as well. Especially since he claims he's still working on them. -
dude he was telling a joke. He was telling the original poster that it was a bad deal and how could he contact the guy who he was going to buy the lego off because really it's a good deal and he was pretending to want it for himself. He wasn't asking how to contact someone on here :)

Guardians of the Galaxy is on the right page. It should be an x-men on the bottom as it has a picture of Wolvie on it.

What I'm trying to say is usually a thread gets closed if there is already one dude. Also it's quite a popular thread, so not many people will respond to this one as they have already responded to the other one.
