  2. still nothing , has anyone from the Netherlands the servicepack??? oooh and i tried to get hold of the customerservice but... the phonenumber isn't in use anymore. Last week i've send an email and still no reply strange strange strange
  3. They don't start with the innermost section, the operator can choose out of all sections whichone puched out first. I have thought of this principle but i think its impossible to make it work in a lego creation
  4. I'm planning to use steelcable for extending, i hope it would be strong enough. Jennifers idea is extending AND retracting ? right?
  5. wow yes i really like to do it , but then i need a ton of parts ,and then its really huge, but who knows lol , first a Liebherr LTM1100
  6. Yes i know , but i tried it in small scale and took it apart again, now i'm waiting for parts i ordered so i can build it in bigger scale ,i will trie to leave some pics as soon as possible this is an idea what i have in mind
  7. hi there , i am building a fully RC Liebherr LTM , now i have a problem becouse i want to install a 4 section boom in it , but i have maneged to build it so it can come out (thats not that hard) but i can't think of it that it would come back in. Can anybody help me with this problem??
  8. Nice video , i liked everything on it. I was planning to come also but saterday was the only day i was free to come and damn my boss said i had to work. Better luck next year. I like to show my Liebherr Ltm1100 there(when its ready and functional :D)
  9. Well here's a link to the havy duty turntable on brickshelf , i need to clean it up a little , but i have to waight till the epoxy is hardened. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=447177
  10. I'm building a turntable right now. Don't know what the "hardcore" lego builders think of it , but i used a ?bearing? where i put 4 L shaped beams and some other small connectors. right now they are fit in the hole and a heavyduty glue is poored in it (something like epoxy) . The complete bearing is fit in a frame which is 11 studs wide and 15 long , and also fixed with the epoxy. When its complete i will put a photo here so you can use the idea when you like it. RJK
  11. I have a problem creating an album ,when i use the button "create your first album" an error pops up ([#1072] Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available.) And yes i logged in. I have an other problem ,I see i have 100 kb space for Attachments, can i somehow upgrade it?? RJK
  12. Sure you'r right , but we don't have them at the moment. Think its time TLC would make them. Perhaps 9 or 11 Long
  13. I'm looking for some parts so i can make my ultimate MOC I can trade or i will buy i need a minimum of 6 wheels/tyres , which are used in the Offroader (8297) technic steering arm with 4 ball joints (6 pcs) technic suspension steering link 6L(20 pcs) technic steering link 6L(10 pcs) technic panel 1x5x11 black (12pcs) technic panel 1x5x11 red (24pcs) technic panel quartel cylinder red (12pcs) technic beams all sizes (red, black, dark grey) and more , but with this i can make a beginning. hope some people can help me with this , if you have some of these parts and don't need them(or 1) please reply
  14. Yes i looked in a shop for just the wheels , but around 8.50 euro its expencive when you need 10 of those, luckely i have 4 allready also. Well first i'm going to collect all the parts i think i need. Thanx for the info RJK
  15. bought a couple of months ago 2 sets (8275+8285) for 180 euro's
  16. perhaps this works??? its an idea from an mobile crane, you can scale it up i think. http://www.jenniferclarkbass.com/lego/ac50_1_lrg/rollers_lrg.htm If some people wants to have detailed pic's ,i can make them. i work with these truckcranes, and mobile cranes and some harbour cranes. gr RJK
  17. Looking good , i like big machines. Did you used the wheels of the 8297 offroader??? i'm planning to use those on a 10x8x10 drive train.
  18. I think i will go there with my son , he's 8 years now and tottaly into lego technic and city.
  19. yes , what i can see its good stuff, i think about it to use it in a big scale chassis. Just because the chassis would be approx. 20 wide.
  20. Yes i have seen this selfmade LA's , i have build one of my own. But when there's a "cleaner" solution i prefer that. But the selfmade LA works great btw. many thanks for your reply
  21. In search of lego parts i saw this site , think its something for all Technic and Mindstorm users. longer beams ,liftarms and much more http://www.bricklink.com/storeDetail.asp?pg=3&h=113522&b=8582&itemStatus=U
  22. when it's real, why cant we find it anywhere????? But who cares , Lego should make these parts! ! ! ! I can use them
  23. This is what i'm thinking of , it's pretty big so i hope the LA would be strong enough , i think the full length of the boom will be over 2,5 metres , and i want to get a jib on it so it will be over 3 metres. I think the LA can push the boom , but i have my doubts when it has it's full length. (then i havn't talked about the load it has to lift) I can't tell how much weight it is what the LA has to push. I see in the datasheet the LA can push at the max. 23N (2.3 kg if i'm right) I hope its enough otherwise i need 2 or scale the MOD down. Perhaps there's an other solution. If someone knows one i like to hear about it. many thanks
  24. this is what i wany to know , i want to use it in a mobilecrane for lifting the boom. yes i have seen it , to bad. But because i dont know if it's up to the job ,i think 50/60 euro's is a lot of money
