Off-topic, but thanks :) Same here. At first, I was really adamant about having expressive, Glatorian-style heads, but if the new Kanohi are expressive enough in there own right, than I won't mind TOO much. Would still be nice, though.

Maybe... In your dreams :P And TBH, from the fans I've talked to, most of them prefer Kopaka over Tahu. Understandable - he's pretty beast - but Tahu will always be my fav.

One does not simply pass on Omega Tahu... Wow... for the first time (in forever), the thought of a second wave has occurred to me - WTH kind of sets would there even be? Maybe villains for the larger sets, and Matoran as the smaller sets (this is coming from my opinion that the Protectors are going to be antagonists)?

No. From what I can see, they're utilizing HF 3.0 claws for legs (though there is some variety in leg type, IOW new parts). Agreed - though I see some Miru in it. Maybe it was just a placeholder image? I'm convinced the Protectors will be antagonists. Whether they're evil or not, I'm not sure - but there's no way you can convince me that the only enemies for wave one will be teeny spiders. Hopefully there will be mask packs - maybe similar to the 02 (or was it 03?) ones that included some Kanohi and some Krana-Kal (only in this case, Kanohi and spider "skulls") The first thing that popped into my mind when I saw that crown

I have to agree - I mean, really, as long as you're making a legit comparison, where's the harm in referencing the same show more than once? As long as the comparison makes sense, it shouldn't matter.

I agree with you about Jaller. He always seemed to be a bit more of an authorative character in MNOG, and I didn't like the way they portrayed him in MoL. Anyone have any ideas for Tahu's voice?

I would prefer a new voice for Tahu. I didn't mind Scott McNeil's portrayal, but something different would be cool. I recently said the same thing :P

It wasn't just Lewa's accent - his entire personality was changed from being hyperactive and impulsive to calm, quiet and peaceful. But it was the accent that communicated that change.

I like Scott McNeil, and I don't mind him as Tahu, but I'm not sure he'd be great at Pohatu and Onua. Onua's voice needs to be low and rumbling (Kevin Michael Richardson, perhaps?), and I still want to see an Australian-accented Pohatu :P. Lewa needs to be young and cheerful (not Scottish and peaceful), Steve Blum as Kopaka, and for Gali... obviously peaceful and level-headed, but I want her to sound younger than she did in MoL.

Agreed. I think it'd be interesting if all the Toa each featured unique characteristics of different ancient tribes/cultures. Pohatu definitely fits as Australian/aboriginal in my book - not sure about the others, though.
