  1. I just mess around with spare bricks until I develop some sort of vision for the project, then I go into LDD, enter the bricks I have and work from there.
  2. Would anyone experienced with both Bricksafe and Brickshelf recommend one of the two? I am looking to see which one to use.
  3. While it seems like LEGO investment would possibly be a fun thing to get into on the side of a real job, the time investment vs. net income is not worth it at all. The sheer effort of ordering used sets on eBay, finding missing parts on Bricklink, etc. is way too much to justify the hobby.
  4. The first thing I would do, a process that I am in the middle of currently, is logging all your pieces on Rebrickable using the Part ID. This way, you can see what other sets you can build.
  5. Officially, LEGO is an adjective but I just use the noun LEGO instead of adding the descriptor afterwards such as pieces, sets, bricks, etc.
  6. I wish I had a backlog of unopened sets. I can't afford to buy so many sets that I always have something to build. And I build a set as soon as I get it.
  7. Man, imagine all that LEGO just sitting in the evidence room.
  8. I haven't really been keeping up with LEGO news but is LEGO planning a Bionicle reboot? I know Hero Factory was a giant flop and I really would like to see more Bionicles again.
  9. While I definitely wish I was at the expo, not too disappointed at missing this exclusive. The colors are dull and most of the sets from the new Rebels line have looked pretty lackluster. Free sets are nice but nothing special here.
  10. While videos can be an interesting way to see the full build, I, like almost everyone else, prefer picture reviews because I can choose what part of the build I want to look at and I can quickly see the final result of the review.
