    Lets not count out elgo make more of a below deck area than movie shows. But Lego don't usually add a lot of cannons anyways. So why would they now make up a new mold just to fit more cannons?

    Eh, the set releases in basically a month, by now it almost doesn't matter. If not the toy fair then lego doesn't need an event to reveal it. Minimates have already revealed their potc figures.

    Should be fine if they look solid like hawkman wings. The geonosian wings really fail with their big transparent border on the outside.

    It does look like u see his normal lego hand holding onto the thing that has the blue stud. Its not the current 'hand armor' peice cause the stud would be the other way around on it. It's possible it's just the stud shooter again.

    Yeah, in part its because hes not a character were familiar with yet. But also they didn't give him his medals. Gave him a saber tho, to show hes from a pirate film :P

    No sinister six, no Flash, and very likely no Batman. Aquaman, Avengers, ant man and black panther is the ones we're likely to get sets from. They 'have to' retire some current d2c sets eventually making room for some new ones to hang around a while.

    (He is in "harry potter" now.) I don't think he signed up for multiple films at once since 2 and 3. that's why his salary is so insane. Whatever appeal depp has or not doesn't matter for this movie I don't think. Also the people who watch(ed) a movie cause it had Depp i wouldn't think would be the same people buying toys primarily. And disney seem interested in making a potc film without Jack. Which would be great imo. Lego seemed to give simpsons 2 d2c sets based on nothing but their plan alone. So I think there's a lot of reasons for hope. 2018 has jurassic world sequel, but not much else seemingly for lego.

    It's about context. Potc sets was in 2011. In 2012, lego got both the dc and the marvel license as well as LOTR and hobbit. So there wasn't room for potc to continue back then. This year is full, mostly due to the 2 lego movies. 5 superhero movies Kids will be busy buying all those sets, So it made sense for lego to make a d2c for the adults more interested in POTC.

    For a complete ship you can use long solid pieces, if it's a broken mess u need lots of smaller pieces. Any time you make a hole you double the piece count sortof.

    would be ncei if it was a setup. But the rumors don't actually say price point. It's just that d2c automatically comes with that expectation. Besides making soemthing broken down looking takes a lot of pieces. also the whole cabin area is uite sizable. in the film

    Well the marvel boxes does not use artwork of minifigures in their logo area, dc does. No, his chest is based off concept art, its shaped like some arrow or something and the purple area goes much further down, in the movies its shaped like a diamond. On top of those its a lot of smaller details thats wrong as well. look at the purple patterning on his chest. LEGO FIGURE. Legos vision is not based on the appearance in the movie and that's that. Lego had a chance to fix it but didn't..

    Exactly the same boat used. A whole lot of similarities, the whole front section is especially painfully same-same. It's like less than 1/4 was changed. http://imgur.com/a/d95KM This is something lego ships too should reflect, unlike the current ones which aren't even the same base length. Another reason a good d2c Black pearl would have been great, could easily be modded into the QAR

    We get a crewmate with an eyepatch, that very likely meant to be lieutenant Lesaro. hopefully there's at least 8 figures but lego has been cheating us in the past.

    Lego doesn't build the parts that goes under the water, and wahts where the most major damage is. Some see-through and holey parts aren't that hard to achieve, maybe just replace 1 or 2 hull pieces with some build that looks more skeletal etc. Ship really just need a sturdy top deck and some stable 'feet' to rest on. If they really wanted the ability to raise the front bit that would be perfectly achievable as well. I guess kids would liek that.

    Disney castle was reveled a month before the vip availability, ( I think) if the same is true for this ship, then you can expect a reveal mid february, which would put it around new york toy fair. lego often reveal stuff within the week before the fair so i'd say that's likely to be this set. So I would expect images soon yeah.

    I don't recall the box art ever being inaccurate, the lead time on designing the figs are shorter than the box graphics so it's unlikely to happen. Far as superman and wonder woman they should look the same based on what WB is showing. Would be cool to get the new plain batman suit, but reusing the bvs one isn't a huge crime. (especially if they add leg print which I think the art is showing. Superman too) One might argue adding the tiny army plates might make the print too busy and really its not very prominent on the actual suit. At Least we can almost certainly count on a new tactical batman! The civil war reuse of figures was bad, cause it was not the correct costumes for them. vision wasn't even correct for either movie.

    For aquaman they should release 2 sets, one with Manta and Aquaman, and one with Aquaman, Ocean Master and Mera. Considering it's the only DCeu movie lego has to work with in 2018.

    Can not understand anyone still or ever questioning its the silent mary after the image. Well the only thing confirmed is that we get one set. there usually isn't confirmations on what we don't get. But there is zero signs of any more sets.

    I'd imagine Bill would be the best guide as to how Will figure would look. Hopefully they could make a new mold that has hair included in the bandana, so he don't look bald.
