But Quirrell is the wrong color. he should be dark brown not black. Why they always have to make such annoying errors. The interior looks very nice, but the exterior looks squashed and fat. The size of those doors really seem to have gotten int he way.

They made Tina's hair mold so expect her.

I hope the big set uses a similar section of the castle to this. It's the most iconic to me making for a neat display. There are other nice sections of the castle as well like the clocktower but they are quite distant from other noteworthy sections but could be cool standalone sets. (note not talking about the color, size or build pictured)

If there is a wave next year it will already be planned. Takes like 2 years to get a wave on the shelves.

There are other features that should be priorities ahead of four tables, in order to do the best job ob selling the space visually. For example the fireplaces on either side. 2 tables while not accurate does the job cause you'd have 4 benches, one for each house. The width of a table and 2 benches is 6 studs, times 4 is 24 studs. That is A LOT of space taken up by the least interesting part of that room. Not including the space needed between each table and the walls. Also twice the amount of pieces from 2010 does not mean twice the size, you'd need four times the amount of pieces to double the size.

for 90 dollar it could use about 900 bricks. thats maybe a a third or a quarter of the d2c? With all the parts going towards one section that's reasonably substantial. Where d2c might have to spread its piece count aroud of various sections.

I think its time to retire the old hagrid molds. Lego scale is always a bit loose so i think a Beorn style approach would work out for him, Especially now the new skirts don't make other figures taller. Hagrid being able to sit as well would be a benefit. Quick example.

That's Fenrir and a Death Eater, there was an army so i figured it makes sense to have a representative of that. Triwizard characters seems fun but less necessary to me, should maybe be a set on its own. Crabbe and goyle is just more students in uniform. Dementor is a creature so i didn't include that. Hagrid is large so I just skipped him for the image :P I wouldn't imagine lego could skip him anyhow

So that's four more than was listed, and makes it 6 unknown ones. I guess that gives some hope.

I made a visual list of all the characters I think should be worth getting made, then I removed the ones rumored to be in the set/cmf. Even with a second wave or minifigure series i can see a lot of them being missed out in favour of legos plain choices, such a shame. 4 ghosts, 2 parents and 3 relatives. could instead have been 9 of the more colorful featured characters. f.ex ALL the remaining teachers. The d2c hopefully makes a nice dent in the list. (forgot professor Sprout)

Patience, when the mulan movie is out it would be ration tht lego release some mroe typical Mulan set.

If this is a limited theme I really hope with Harry potter the only thing they focus on is Hogwarts. That can include both the express and Hagrid's hut.

You are wrong. The poster that was posted (he himself called it promo art) has the colors on the suit changed and messed with. Lots of parts that should be black or brown/bronze have been turned green. This poster, should never be used for color reference. Here is my take on the color blocking.
