Just noticed the AT-TE and the Republic Gunship are already retired. Luckily, I already got them, but I was considering getting a second set. Especially the Gunship looks fantastic imo. Would it be worth it? And I recently started watching the Clone Wars series (2008-.. ; will get the original animated series as well), and I'm really surprised how good the show is. Any sets that are absolutely must haves? Never paid any attention to them because I wanted to focus on the movies, but I think I'll change my mind.

Bit disappointed with the pricing of the new sets... € 140 for the Smaug-set, around 650 bricks vs Battle at the Black Gate, € 80 and 656 bricks. I think I'm going to wait for a price drop in a local shop, hehe.

UCS Slave 1 looks amazing! I'll definitely get it now, and I'm also quite happy it won't release before 2015. Time to save some cash!

This. The minifigs are well worth it. The set itself is a tad disappointing, but then again, don't think Lego can do more with that scene for the price it's going for.

Bit the same situation here. Bought/got as a gift about 50 sets since last year when I rekindled my LEGO-love, and was looking to buy the last Slave I. Glad I didn't, because this set looks amazing. This will definitely be an instant buy for me. My current wishlist in order of importance (and the last sets I really wish to buy before the end of 2014): 1. Slave I, 2. MTT, 3. ISD

Sadly, Brickset changed the subtheme of the upcoming ITT to "Rebels". Was too good to be true..

A big haul this month: 9500 Sith Fury-class intercepter, 75050 B-wing, 75052 Mos Eisley Cantina, 75054 AT-AT, the 9493 X-Wing, Palpatine's Arrest, Darth Revan poly and The Tumbler. My collection's starting to look respectable now!

So the focus of the 2015 line up will be on the "Rebels" theme. That's a bit disappointing, but understandable with the new show coming up. Next year should be different, with the release of epi VII.

Don't know if I should ask it here, or in another part of the forum, but how does the VIP-program of S@H actually work in terms of pre-orders/early sales of certain items? (f.e. The Tumbler 76023 or the rumored UCS Slave 1) Would it be better and cheaper to buy it now or later? Do sets like these have a high chance to be sold out in a few weeks or ..? I keep reading about sales and discounts or double VIP points in October-December, is this correct? Sorry for all the questions, thanks in advance!

Hello there, I'm new here on this forum, and recently came back to collecting LEGO after I gave up my entire collection (mostly 20 odd year old City and Technics sets) a few years ago and made one kid very happy. Found out a few weeks ago there was a booming community of fellow Lego-nuts, so I had to register. And I was wondering if I could ask some questions to you people regarding some sets I've been interested in? I try to get the most iconic pieces from the movies, like the Falcon, Tie Fighter, UCS Sandcrawler, the UCS Red Five X-Wing, ... all for building and displaying purposes. What's on my wishlist: 10225 R2-D2 75052 Mos Eisley Cantina (a must imo) 75054 AT-AT 75020 Jabba's Sail Barge but I'm torn between the UCS 10227 B-wing (priced at about € 200) and the 75050 B-wing (€65). Is the quality and the exclusivity of the UCS set justifying the price difference? (maybe a weird question to ask to fellow collectors, but I just want the most bang for the buck, and maybe saving funds for other pieces) Your thoughts on this list? Thanks in advance!
