If everyone who can attack would the battle could be over this round. There is literally no reason there should have been any free attacks in this battle.

Vindsval Spits blood. Hold your ground, we finish this. He growls. Vindsval Drinks a Grand Potion from the Back row. -

Southern fool. Vindsval growls, a sound like gravel and broken steel. The power you weilded could have been used for the benefit of all, yet you chose to align against those who have long protected this city. You may have saved one, but now your soul is forfeit and that of your friends as well. Vindsval Attacks Paladin infantry B from the front row with his Ax. Oath of Retaliation -

And you were found wanting. The battle rage begins to build in Vindsval's eyes, the lust for death he has begun to associate with his role as a vindicator is starting to take hold. He locks eyes with The Paladin Priest and roars in and INTIMIDATING MANNER over the battle at the men of faith opposite him. Your Lord has abandoned you, he knows this to be a fruitless fight. You serve no justice here only petty revenge. Leave now or you will die by our hands, your should sent to My Lord, The Great Wanderer for judgement. Vindsval Intimidates the Paladin Priest to Leave from the Front Row. -

The green giant looks down at the tiny axe in his hand. Not much of a blade, I think I used a larger knife cutting my last steak. And then the puns begin to rain down upon his ears. Hopefully it is sharper than the tongues of my companions. It's going to be one of those battles isn't it? He shrugs his shoulders and grins. In for a copper as they say. Perhaps I can help us Whittle down the competition. Vindsval attacks Commander Fervent from the front row with his new ax. Let us test the might of your southern lord against that of the Wanderer, shall we Commander? -

OOC: it looks like we have more than enough spare heroes for some of us to search without swimming in free hits. Vindsval does more good with a weapon in his hand so he is going to take a look around.. More for the party it would seem. Vindsval SEARCHES the room from the FRONT row. -

It woudl seem trying to get them out of the city is premature, fist we will need to get them out of the bar. Vindsval moves to the Bard's side, places a meaty fist into his iron one and cracks his knuckles. Gentlemen, I would think that men such as yourselves would see that those are clearly not anyone you need to take with you. Clearly, you are not fools. Those two are with us. You should seek a different Path this night. Vindsval makes it known to all in the tavern that he stands with Jacq Altraite and Kukulkan. -

Of the three options I fear my best place would be with you Mistress Karie. The temple of your soft southern gods would not welcome me or my Lord, and If i never return to the underground of this city It would be too soon. Vindsval downs the offered Mead in a single swallow. Once I have them again, my lance and sword will be at your side. -

Vindsval Walks up to the gathering group. The Tomb and Temple are both areas of exploration that may yield answers, He then gestures to Kukulkan and the Fox. But regardless of their current standing, the Fox at least has aided ALL of us in the past. If they are indeed in the danger they feel, they need to be taken from the city. And then there is the small detail of us all currently being totally without armament. -

AS that paper says, Those claiming to be the true founders of Heroica have returned and have judged us unworthy. One calling herself the Dragon told me to ask all of you to have patience. If we are the force for good we claim we will be welcomed back. By the Wanderer, that sounds incredibly arrogant does it not? If she deems us worthy she will allow us to once again return to where we have dedicated our lives. -

HA HA Master Throlar, I am indeed pleased to see you here. He claps the man on the shoulder with his flesh hand Well Met. Mistress Annie. . . well that is a note of sadness in our meeting. She has left us. She has chosen to search for Warlen, an old friend of us both, and to continue her Path with him. I have wished her well, and said my farewell. I hope that one day our Paths will again cross. Tell me, what do you know of what happens here? -

With his longer stride her easily catches up with Karie and can only grin as she convinces the bouncer that a bard with a guitar is no threat to anyone. I look forward to hearing you play Songsmith. I suppose I must also unburden myself at your feet Brownskin. Watch it all well. After a prolonged period Vindsval manages to remove his array of weapons and lays them all protectively in his Scorpion Cloak. Unfortunately, this leaves his mechanical arm fully exposed. Even after all this time he is still self conscious of its alieness in this world. I will return for these soon. Fully unburdened he follows Karie into the tavern and looks around to find more familiar faces. With Annie, and Bobby gone he thinks back to another sister in arms and in blood. He raises his voice above the crowd. MIDERUN, are you in here with this mob? -
Vindsval Returns to the market to replenish his stores before heading to the tavern. He may be on the road for some time. He purchases 2 Grand Potions, 5 remedies, 3 Nostrum, 3 mead, 2 mulled wine, and 2 ambrosia (839-20-50-105-45-110-130=379 He then Sells Ignis Blade and Gia Blade, Removes the Amethyst from the Undead Antlers, then sells them, Simgird Windblade, Tiny Chain, Colorful Dagger, 379+25+25-50+50+60+25+20=534 He then Fuses the Topaz, and Emerald with Ludeus, Amethyst with Verkenner The Diamond, Opal, Garnet, Aquamarine, and Emerald with The Twin Sai, and renames them the Bifrost Blades once Again 534-50-50-50=384-250=134 He leaves again, his bags fuller, his purse lighter, and his weapons enhanced.

Hope to see her again someday, until then I am interested to see how Vindsval's path will end.

Goodbye Annie, Emotion swells in his gravelly voice, Walk well. You will be missed. Indeed, it would seem there is little left for us here. I will go with you Songsmith. As he turns to leave with Karie, he turns his head one last time towards the two "Legendary Founders" I will pass your message of patience to those who will listen, and pray that what you intend falls true. But know this, if you are charlatans along this road, those of the Hall will rise against you. With that he exits the hall with Karie, hopefully not for a final time, and begins his walk to the Tavern in question.
-
He lets loose a deep chuckle, In numerous chairs and beneath the tables more often than you might expect. Though this hall seems to have more room upon every return. I will relay your message lady, but angry men with blades are not known for their patience.
-
Calming as he recognizes the salute of respect, he returns it with one of his own. He knuckles his forehead with his right hand, left forearm held horizontal before him at chest level. He bows slightly. You have dissolved my home, where would you have me go? You ask that I spread peace among my brothers of this hall. You who it is who threw them out, what message would you have me give them?
-
It is good to see eye to eye with another. It is an experience he has not had since he left the north with his father. Those are truly lofty titles and stories of great legends throughout the many kingdoms. But they are tales of long ago. The Dragon has been gone longer than even the eldest know. If she is truly who you say she is, then I do owe her a debt, for it is here that I found a home. Before these walls I was persecuted as monster, as Other. Within them I found purpose. Search your roles, your lists of names of those among the great houses of this city. You will not find mine among them. I joined no guild, no family but that of the men and woman who stood beside me. If she would save what she formed in the past, by destroying what we have formed here, is she truly the great one you hold so dear?
-
His lip curls up into the slightest of smiles. I am certain he will be glad of your return to his side. Perhaps one day it will not only be you and I, but the three of us who share a table and tell our tales. Be well in your journey dear one. He draws his hand gently across her head and recites a short prayer of blessing in travel and finding. Wanderer guide and watch you. He turns his attention back to the woman.

One with a punch

Vindsval Stands and stares down at the white haired woman. Neither recognizing her nor remembering any story he may have heard of one meeting her description. The state we have put this city in? I know not what state you believe it to be in now, but I know the state it would have been in without us. I know the state it would be in without even the likes of ME! It would be a place of pestilence and DEATH! I lost my arm to save this city from a madman who believed his diseases would cleanse it. Who are YOU? That you would pass judgement on us. We who have walked the paths of this city and this land battling that which would destroy it. I know there are those among us who fought for less than pristine reasons, but many of our Paths be true and just.
