Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

But with one hell of a journey ahead! -
Yeah I'm not really seeing the problem. Sure, it's something you'd know as a fan of the series, but if this book is someone's introduction, it helps to paint a picture of the character.

I've only seen Perfect Blue of Satoshi Kon's works, and I loved it, so I'll be watching Paranoia Agent soon. I'm also gonna watch Psycho Pass and Charlotte as soon as I get some free time. -

I give my highest recommendations to Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder and Star vs. The Forces of Evil. (I don't know what you've seen so I just recommended what I recommend everybody). If you're also willing to watch anime, I recommend stuff like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Gurren Lagann in the English localization) and One Punch Man for a heck of a wild ride and a huge smile at the end. If you're into darker stuff that is ultimately hopeful, I highly recommend Steins;Gate, Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Parasyte. I have several recommendations: Noragami (feels a lot like Soul Eater and Fairy Tail mixed into one, what with great action, humor and amazing visuals) High School DxD (warning: VERY ecchi, though it has a really good storyline and fantastic action) Steins;Gate (a lot like Mirai Nikki in that it has time travel as a key element and takes its time to build up the characters, though the action doesn't really unfold until halfway through, it is VERY good. This is my all-time favorite anime thus far) One Punch Man (hilarious parody of superhero/shonen, great animation, currently airing) JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (similar to Fairy Tail in that it's cliche shonen done right, with great characters, creative fighting and amazing villains. If you decide to watch this one, watch only the 2012 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the 2014 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Stardust Crusaders (+season 2) and next year's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Diamond is Unbreakable. The 1990s and 2000s OVAs and movies are very bare-bones, the 2012, 2014 and 2016 anime are where it's at.) Kill la Kill (over-the-top action just like Gurren Lagann (in fact the people that worked on TTGL worked on KlK) FLCL (insane ride that leaves you wondering what just happened but with a smile on your face) Neon Genesis Evangelion (+ End of Evangelion) (just like FLCL only a bit more sensical and a lot darker and grimmer) Rebuild of Evangelion (like NGE but a lot more sensical and A LOT darker and grimmer by the third movie, the fourth and final movie is yet to be released) Parasyte (great action, very philosophical series. Bit slow at the beginning and at the end but one heck of a ride all the way through) Higurashi When They Cry (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) (+ 2nd season, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, which was never dubbed) (horror anime at first, later tearjerker murder mystery. Gripping all the way through) As an aside, I don't recommend the dubs for any of these series except for (maybe) FLCL, Steins;Gate and Kill la Kill. Higurashi got a very badly dubbed first season and the 2nd was never dubbed, Parasyte's dub is very lacking, Eva is inconsistent throughout, JoJo is meh (mostly because the seiyuu in the original are so good), High School DxD is a definite no and One Punch Man hasn't even been dubbed yet. Can't speak for Noragami as I haven't checked out the dub. -

At any rate they must have some significance. I think they'll just be emblems of their power rather than directly providing it like in G1. -
I'm in the camp that loves the technic, it just looks cooler in my opinion.

I second that, I found Coleman's performance absolutely stunning in the last episode (though in fairness Capaldi's wonderful acting can overshadow anything). -

When I first started Gravity Falls I thought it was a good show but didn't think much of it, watched a couple episodes here and there when nothing better was on and admired its strong sense of continuity, but otherwise didn't invest much dedication in it. Then came Dreamscapers. I was glued to the screen the entire time. I watched the few episodes I hadn't seen before and have watched the show religiously since. -

I wish Grinder has those hands in his final form, that would've set him apart much better.

Well, that was quite something. I'll post some more thoughts tomorrow as I'm too tired to form a coherent opinion. -

I've been watching Rebels and retroactively started working through Clone Wars, loving both. -

I hope the two paper Dipper clones that are unaccounted for play some sort of role but I don't really expect them to. -

I'm pretty sure it's not the finale. Disney's not marketing it as the season finale, which they always do when that's the case. Also, afaik, there's 4 more ending cryptograms to complete the full picture. I don't know if there's 4 episodes left, but I'm pretty sure at least 2 are. -

I can't wait! I wish it was on tomorrow but Wander Over Yonder (plus Star Wars Rebels on Wednesday) will be enough to tide me over 'till next week. -

I don't know if this breaks some sort of rule so my apologies and just delete this post if it does but I watch all cartoons that aren't on the air at http://kisscartoon.me/ and all my anime at http://kissanime.com/. -
My reaction to the sets after seeing that picture: (replacing "this dreary old man" with "these sets" and "a legendary grim reaper" with "better than the 2015 Toa")

Tahu confirmed for Magical Girl 2016, can't wait for a 24 episode anime adaptation. In all seriousness, his weapons look amazing. I can't wait to see this in high-res.

I recommend some staple classic series episodes (An Unearthly Child, The Daleks, The Tenth Planet (unless you don't wanna watch a missing episode), The War Games, Spearhead in Space, Terror of the Autons, Robot, Genesis of the Daleks, The Brain of Morbius, The Deadly Assassin, The Caves of Androzani, Remembrance of the Daleks, Survival, The Enemy Within (aka, the 1996 TV Movie)) with the bolded ones as the most important ones, and from there the modern series (from the episode Rose onwards). As for the set, I really love it. The console is very well-built and the inclusion of 11 and 12 makes me absolutely giddy.

Yeah, you don't just introduce such a cool artifact, make an official story description and not show it in the story even once. That just ain't cool. (I'm referring to the golden Skull Spider mask mostly)

I really loved it. Traditional base under siege story but done very well, very spooky monsters and a great cast. Can't wait for next week! -

I quite enjoyed it. Wish they fleshed out Colony Sarff a bit but I'm holding out hope that it'll reappear throughout the series. Capaldi and Bleach were amazing, Gomez and Coleman were hilarious.
