According to the rumors: There are dozens of stores that sell Lego. Every toystore, warehouses....and big websites like Amazon.... I think the chance that all the new TFA sets will be sold out within the first couple of days are 3720 to 1. I mean this in the best way possible: some folks here shouldn't 'panic' so quickly. Really? The 7 sets are total somewhere around € 630. With, say, 15% off you save € 95. That's a free Transporter set. You'd really pay € 95 more and get them on day 1 instead of, say, day 7?

PLUS: the fact that on september 4th all the sets will be full retail. There's a Lego shop 10 mins from where I live. He always gets new sets 1-2 weeks after they're released, but all sets are 15-20% cheaper than retail. The last set I got there was the Tydirium. He had it 4 days after the official release and I got it 19% (!) cheaper than retail. Well worth the wait. I've already asked if he can put the sets aside. Paying full retail now is giving in to the hype.

The review is ****. I mean: No...really? I guess the Lego ISD, Death Star and Falcon will get a - (minus) as well then! And why so few pix of the ship itself?
-
I didn't miss it. But let's be honest: does that word matter to anyone? I mean: every AFOL has seen all the pix. Some pix (the black ship and Rick Deckards vehicle) have been on the web for a month. Dr. Jones' ride even has a review online. But gee, finally we get official photos! Wow! Who cares? It's old news! Other sites/people had the real scoop.
-
Exactly. Yesterday they posted this... ....along with a pic of a black vehicle and a certain shuttle. World Exclusive? Are they joking? A pic of the black ship has been on the web for a month!

Attack of the Clones....you'll see his face in that movie. And yes, he's a kid then but since he's a clone and we see his dad unmasked it's not hard to picture what Boba looks like as an adult.

Disney's The Little Mermaid with the family. I had never seen it before (it was released when I was way in my teens) and I have to say I liked it.

Nope: From this forum: http://www.eurobrick...c=111762&st=125 (first post)

And 'The Hall of Mirrors' I believe.

Check the FB link in my signature for box backs of Reys speeder, the Snowspeeder and the TIE Fighter (I posted them there earlier today). The german description? It doesn't say the wings don't fold out, and the front of the box just shows that the wings extend. (Or have you seen the back of the box?)

What's your source?

Thats odd....the official runtime is 124 minutes...less that 2,5 hours. ;) Hate the colors? A LOT of SW sets are grey. Hate the AT-AT, ISD, Falcon, B-Wing, etc too? And if you know the movie...I'd like to know the last names of Rey and Finn...and some other things which haven't leaked or are still rumors.... :D

Yup. The negativism here is depressing. Sets are ugly, prices are too high.......

You are aware that LEGO is in the first place a childrens toy...right?

Ah.....so much love for the new sets in this thread My opinion is that there's nothing with with the sets on their own. The only thing that bugs me is something I don't think is LEGO's fault but has everything to do with spoilers. -There are just a few named characters (no Luke, Maz (and het goons), Leia, Brance, Gliv, Gorwyn, Ematt, Vicar). Besides the 3 new heros, 3 new baddies and Han, Chewie and BB8 it's nothing but unnamed troopers. -Where are the aliens? (and cool new alien headmolds?) Where are the droids? In the entire wave there are just 2 (!) alien characters: Chewbacca and the Resistance crewmember from Dameron's X-Wing set. Instead, we get 2 uninspiring Resistance members in the Transport set. To make things worse: just 1 droid in this wave. -The wave is like Jean from the X-Men: GREY. Not a lot of variation regarding color and other things. Don't get me wrong though! Individually each set looks good. It's just that some variation (more interesting figs, a location set, more Resistance sets instead of the entire First Order army) would have made this wave stand out more. Still, I don't think this is LEGO's fault. Lucasfilm/Disney wants to keep some things a mystery (it's no coincidence we're getting a Maz Kanata set in january! (the rumored Hall of Mirrors set)) and they've done this before. People who are old fossils like me might remember 1983 when the Kenner cardbacks blacked out 2 characters: The ewoks Chief Chirpa and Logray had to stay a mystery. So, do I like this wave? individually: yes! As a whole: a bit less yes. With a location set or oddball starship with some funky droids and aliens I would have been really happy. Luckily there's the Pirate Transport, Hall of Mirrors and the Battle on Takodana in january! Will I get every set? I've always said I'd get all of them. I don't think I'll change my mind.

You're quite welcome sir! Regarding the leaked LEGO Snowspeeder: here's a pic of the Hasbro incarnation.

The Transporter is 75103. Ren's shutle is 75104. The photo on Brickipedia cleary shows 75104.....so it's wrongly added to the page of the 75103 set.

He didn't know :(

Because carbonite Han is included. (Source: the same guy that knew about the size before it was listed on amazon etc. Check a few pages back) :)

The 9496 Desert Skiff was the exact same price and had 4 figs including 3 iconic figs: Boba Fett (with new printing), Luke and Lando. My guess: Han, Lando, Boba Fett, Ugnaught. Vader will be saved for more expensive sets, plus I think they'd rather include an 'old' figure (Fett) that has been in multiple sets than a new figure (Vader with new helmet) that's only been in one more expensive set.
-
A Jawa will be included in the advent calendar this year, so we finaly can get one in a non-expensive set. So, it makes sense if a Jawa will be included in the Droid escape set. Good to hear/read the guy I got the info from was right about the price (and the fact it's a small set).

VIDEO: Second Lego Star Wars Magazine (Europe)
Jedi-Bendu replied to Zusammengebaut's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I saw the first edition at a newsstand +-2 weeks ago. The contents is (as expected) aimed at kids and the minibuild (X-Wing) isn't that interesting. Only reason I'd buy this magazine is when there's a minifig included.
