  1. Are you talking about the Leg molds, surprisingly the two pegs on the legs actually hold pretty well.
  2. Do you mind if I link the bootleg thread, incase anybody feels like discussing this matter.
  3. I'm guessing the reason for the price I paid on this set was high, was due to the distributors paying a higher price from their manufacturer to get a head start in selling these before everybody else acquired them. We're suppose to be getting a "new" Ironman wave which looks like the Sheng Yuan wave 2 since it features the gold ironman, stealth (all black) ironman, and a rerelease of the gemini suit, iron patriot, and war machine and mark VII. The only figures that are new in this set are going to be the Tony stark figure and the Ironman Mark 1 suit. After that wave there is six spots again, which I hope is the Punisher, red Skull, Bullseye, Falcon, Taskmaster and Electro wave.
  4. Kinda, but the thing is the bootleggers stole Christo's design and are selling it for dirt cheap prices, but Christo took the design for the Flash which got stolen from him from the Lego batman 2 video game. I don't know if there is a creative license that allows that, but that's the situation. eBay and or aliexpress.
  5. While trying to search for the Scarlet Spider figure made by Lele, I found another future foundation set at a much more reasonable price than what i paid for. http://www.ebay.com/...=item339255457a and heres a aliexpress link also http://www.aliexpress.com/item/-/1982009837.html in the image, apparently the Mr. Fantastic figures faces either is really bad and or just double sided, also from the looks of the spiderman there seems to be some scratches on the suit on the edges of the torso, I hope this just a bad a batch that they got.
  6. i somewhat agree with this, I like that the chinese companies make decent replicas of very HTF exclusive figures that if I tried to get in this case I have Phoenix, Shazam, Green Lantern, NYTF Iron Man Captain America would run me about the price of a used car since Lego is suppose to hate the aftermarket, but I'm really starting to not believe that. I am disappointed the companies steal direct designs of Lego and some customizers, but if you look at the auctions some of Christo's figures end for, let's say the Lego Batman video game version of Flash which was ending for about $100, I don't feel guilty at all that they stole his designs.
  7. I wouldn't mind if they did that. I really want to see how the UCS Tumbler is going to look along with the rumored Heath Ledger Joker and Nolan Batman supposedly in the set. If they reveal UCS Tumbler, I will be satisfied.
  8. My dream set at the moment would be to make a $100-120 set that contains the SPOILER ALERT the final battle of Ultimate Spiderman season 2 where spider man fought against the Sinister six in Riker's Island. I noticed on the Marvel side we haven't had a really large Marvel set to match the DC Superhero line with the Arkham Asylum set. Also a set with Fing Fang Foom would be nice since it's a underrated villain that Iron man fought.
  9. Well if you didn't come off as a douche from that sentence, then maybe that's why nobody likes the fact that people like you are getting a highly exclusive figure because if you are as insensitive as you are from that sentence you'll probably be the guy that brags about having an unattainable figure. But hey, good luck at SDCC and getting your figure. You really deserve it for being a "true fan" of Lego and not the other thousands of AFOL and TFOL who wish they could attend a prestigious event.
  10. So what you're saying is you're willing to stand in line for about 6 hours (maybe more due to hype) in a lego raffle line rather than actually exploring and obtaining the SDCC experience with your kids? Even if I was able to go to SDCC, I would still want go for other things besides just for Lego. There is also Kreo exclusives (There is still a market for those), Mega Bloks, probably visit the Dark Horse booth, maybe the Hasbro booth, and not to mention all the exclusive interviews Q&A.
  11. The SDCC minifig exclusives don't work that way. Lego does 4 Superhero minifig exclusives. 2 from Marvel and 2 from DC. I believe that minifig Groot is a possibility though.
  12. Most of us are. Some people are saying that the Collector is a better exclusive and he may be released in a later set (I highly doubt it will since Bizarro, Shazam, Spiderwoman and Phoenix were never released). The variant of Rocket Raccoon I'm still believing will be released in a later set, but if it's not I won't be phased by it since it's just a variant and not something worth selling a kidney for.
  13. Lego could go the cheap way instead of actually making a short mohawk hairpiece and just print a line on the top of the head that would represent the hairpiece. Why would Lego do that seeing as they never released Bane, Commissioner Gordon, or the Batman in that set as exclusive preview figures from the previous SDCC.
  14. You're the only one who loves SDCC exclusives in this thread..
  15. The real question we should ask ourselves is what sets should we expect to be hinted at since those will be the figures which will be easily attainable compared to the SDCC exclusives which very few will get. I wouldn't be surprised if we got another Marvel Spiderman set for the Winter Wave to go along with the AoU sets, but I think that the AoU sets may be delayed to try and not give any spoiler to coincide with the movie like what they did with the avengers.
  16. I never said it was bad. I'm saying it would be better to release all the past SDCC figures which at the moment seem way better than the Collector (he's a really weak villain i don't see the hype about him)
  17. They would have to release all the other SDCC figures from the years in the past before we ever get to see The Collector available to the general public and in the article it states that this is one of the 4 exclusive figures and not a preview figure.
  18. Does anybody who's had personal comic con experience know how the raffle works. When you enter the Lego raffle I'm assuming you don't get to choose which raffle prize you want to enter to win. Seeing as the Unikitty faces may be exclusives also (I didn't know that many people care that much about her) and also that there still might be some exclusive TMNT figures and Star Wars figures to be unveiled, the chances of attending the raffle and winning exactly what you want to receive would be slim, but the chances of winning something are likely.
  19. Huh. I didn't know that in the Age of Ultron article it says that Iron man creates Ultron and not Ant-man. I guess that destroys the possibility of getting Ant-man in the upcoming Lego Avengers sets.
  20. We'll see who will win, thanks for telling everybody
  21. They know we're unhappy over these exclusives, but it's not stopping them from making more.
  22. Shhhhh you guys. Quiet down. Lego is listening don't give them anymore ideas for exclusives.....
  23. I know what you mean Hasbro does that as well as Mattel. Lego claims to hate the aftermarket on this merchandise as you said, but there has to be something on the inside. People have been saying that the raffles have been rigged seen in this article (http://www.fbtb.net/2013/07/29/sdcc-marvel-and-dc-minifigure-giveaways-how-lego-gamed-the-system-part-1/) Well all what we can do is just send angry emails and hopefully this will stop, but it'll all be a waste. Which is why there is companies that are making fakes of SDCC figures in China as we speak and I'll give my money to them to make more SDCC figures and support them since Lego is over here being childish.
  24. I highly doubt it, since it wouldn't follow the tradition of exclusives Lego has been doing for the past two years. They give out 4 exclusive figures, 2 from Marvel, 2 from DC. Of those two figures, one is always a highly exclusive figure (Phoenix and Spiderwoman) and the other is a exclusive variant of a figure (Black suit spidey and AS2 costume). I doubt they will be making those figures as SDCC exclusives, maybe some other exclusives like a Lego store promotion. That would defeat the purpose of them being exclusives since anybody would be able to get them, Lego doesn't care if you can't make it to an event. I wonder what the price on these exclusives would be though if Lego did individually sell them. Lego knows we are willing to pay up to $500 for a exclusive figure so even if they did, it would still be overpriced. Plus since these are limited to 1000 figures, one store would get a random figure of the 4 and probably charge $100-200 since you said "sell".
  25. Well there's no doubt that exclusives are going to keep on coming. Since most of the 4 SDCC exclusives for the past years have been 1 exclusive figure and 1 exclusive variant for Marvel and DC. I'm betting on a maybe a Comic version of Drax, Minifig Groot, Anti venom, or maybe a variant where it's wolverine from Days of Future past with bone claws (white claw pieces) or where he is sporting the brown leather jacket and jeans.
