  1. Goliath gently places the dwarf down, "SORRY." He then begins to wonder where Fellcrest is. He had never been outside the confines of his masters' workshop until now, "GOLIATH. NOT. KNOW. GOLIATH. SAY NO."
  2. Goliath slowly approaches the dwarf and gently picks him up so he could speak to him, face to face, "GOLIATH. AUTOMATON. MASTER. IS. DWARF. LOOK. LIKE. MASTER."
  3. That is just part of his persona so far. Things will unfold, especially if other heroes ask him things. And since the world is so new to him, he does not understand most social customs and will be greatly influenced by the actions of his new peers.
  4. You guys have any thoughts on my character so far?
  5. Goliath seems curious to what she meant but is confident that the fields are a great place to smash things. "GOLIATH. HELP. GOLIATH. NOT. PREPARED."
  6. Goliath appears confused. Being programmed to smash things into a messy pulp, he does not understand the useful of mages yet he has never met one. "GOLIATH. NO. UNDERSTAND." He also notices the dwarf who approached the questboard. He is filled with a contained happiness and sense of security. He roars to him, "NOT. MASTER. LOOK. LIKE. MASTER."
  7. Goliath overhears the conversation about Mages and Barbarians, curious to know if they are talking about him. With a deep roaring voice, he speaks, "MAGES. NO. SMASH. GOLIATH. SMASH."
  8. The corpulent automaton heads over to the questboard, still not mindful of the stools in his way. He carves his name, Goliath, signing up for Quest #150 before he heads back to his little section in the hall. He looks across the room at all of the heroes curiously. Possibly wondering why everyone is small except for the half-giant with one natural arm? Nonetheless, he seems intrigued.
  9. Shortly after the dwarf left the hall, a large unknown steel figure walks into the hall. The noises of cogs and gears turning can be heard with each steps it takes, practically knocking stools over due to his size. He does not acknowledge that. He finds an open area to stand at.
  10. Is the Sungold Alliance still joinable?
  11. Mhinak receives a letter from his distant relatives informing him that he needs to come home, it is important. After reading the letter, he bundles up some him possessions in four separate parcels and drinks a pint of mead. He looks for those who he calls friends in the hall. He approaches Na'im and hands him the parcel with his name written on it. Inside it contains: 82 Gold, Phoenix Essence, and a Demonic Incense (Revives all knocked out party members with 1 health and the Doomed-effect). He then approaches Germ and hands him the parcel with his name on it. Inside it contains: 82 Gold, Bone, Smoke Bomb, Dwarven Portable Catapult (WP:10, double damage to enemies visibly larger than the user; throwing weapon), and a Saucepan (Allows user to regain 5 health outside of battle 5 separate times. Can be used by multiple people. 5/5 uses left). He approaches Bobby and hands him the parcel with his name on it. Inside it contains: 81 Gold, Merman Stylish Gel (Deals Enamoured effect to female gender; consumable), and a Skeleton Decoy. He approaches Kiray and hands her the parcel with her name on it. Inside it contains: 81 Gold, Flameproof Armor (SP:1, no longer flameproof; bodywear, suitable for anyone; Loaned from Kiray), and a Grand Potion. Finally he approaches Miderun and hands her the final parcel with her name on it. Inside it contains: 81 Gold, a Grand Potion, and Serpent Scales (Grants Reinforced and Nimble-effects for the duration of one battle when consumed). He begins to leave and approaches Vindsval. "I hear ya are a trusty lad and a fierce warrior. Here, take these, ya probably deserve them." Mhinak hands Vindsval his Anniversary Medal (Power +4, SP +4, Max. Health +4, Max. Ether +4. The values will increase by 1 with each passing year; accessory.) and the Gauntlets of the Legionnaire (Power:+5, Immune to Petrified, handwear). Mhinak leaves the hall.
  12. That is true and considering you have not been on a quest yet, I do not think it is a problem as long as you changed everything correctly.
  13. Mhinak enters to hall and sits on an open stool. He looks around but does not say a word.
  14. Quest #136 I absolutely enjoyed this quest and I am thankful I got to participate in this one! Though I am still quite new to the community, this has been my favorite quest thus far. It was a long quest but all the events made it enjoyable. The pictures were great and I absolutely enjoyed looking at all the different scenes mainly because it helped visualize how intense the scenes were. When I was facing the Guardians, Mhinak had the mindset to keep his cool because at any second, he could be crushed by Zeulord with ease. The battles and loot were great, no complaints whatsoever. The NPCs were interesting, for the most part. Some characters whose names did not stick to me where the names of the prison guards. Latte Oswain was pretty interesting to encounter during the quest and interacting with him was fun, same goes with the old boat master. The only things that bothered me on this quest was where it seemed like there would be no updates in a few days, like the last one was six days before the final update. I understand that you are busy in real life too but sometimes I was so interested with events that I wanted to see what happened next. Even if it was a small little notification saying an update will be up in a few days would have been great. Also, I was a bit confused as to why the quests happened over PM. That was around the time when I was just very inactive so I might not have caught onto the point of it. That would be my fault, not yours. Party Na'im - I enjoy questing with him and this one was very interesting to see how he interacted with everyone particularly because he is a Fenarian and there was a lot of friction between them, Star Elves, and the Guardians. He also saved Mhinak's skin a few times so yeah, I would definitely quest with him again. Germ - He was certainly an interesting character during this quest. I enjoyed seeing how he changed throughout the quest and some of the things he said was hilarious! I would quest with him again. Bobby - Sometimes I found it annoying with how he talked but at times, I did get a good chuckle with how he talked, especially to Latte Oswain. I know it is part of his persona but I did wonder at times if he said some cheesey lines like "cat's pajamas" or something like a Greaser. That would be hilarious! Overall, I enjoyed questing with him and would quest with him again. Miderun - On occasion her and Mhinak clashed heads but that is to be expected. Mhinak does look up to Miderun as a leader even though some things he does not agree with. I would definitely like to quest with Miderun again. Kiray - Almost the same thing as Miderun but Mhinak agrees with Kiray's take on things a bit more, like with talking first rather than attacking first. I think she is a pretty interesting character and I would gladly want her to watch my back. Mhinak - To be honest, I do not know what to really say. I felt like he was all over the place when it came to opinions. He also felt alienated particularly because of how he wanted to help the Guardians. It surprised me that I was the only one who wanted to help them. I think this will be his last quest because I have had this other idea for a character (Last character, I swear! ). Don't get me wrong, I enjoy him but it is mostly aesthetically. I screwed up with his development. I will miss playing as him and having the memories of his quests.
  15. Nice to see a new face around here, welcome! I look forward to seeing for your characters' dialogue is like.
  16. Mhinak waves goodbye to the queen and goes through the portal. He listens to Elnath, "Sorry about Toren, lad. This journey with ya and me hero friends was most certainly an eye-opener for me, lessons I would never see back home in me workshop. For that, I am thankful to have been a part of this journey." OoC: Completely understandable. Still, I appreciate the update even though you are busy am enjoyed this quest a lot. I will post my critique later.
  17. Mhinak notices Miderun and Germ's eagerness to leave. He agrees. "Thank you for yer hospitality, yer highness, but we must set sail as soon as well can. It be a long voyage back to the hall. I pray that you deal with the Fenarians, such filth and miscreants because of their leader misleading them."
  18. "Thank you for the kind words, yer highness. I may not be a denizen of Spesialia but I did feel obligated to help them since they are dying. Risking me life is part of the job I have accepted and I do not regret it. I am terribly sorry about the events that took place here and I agree that there should be a maintained balance and hopefully unity. Of course, it's none of my business but what happened in the past should stay in the past."
  19. To be honest with you, I was not talking about the Anniversary Medal. I actually am talking about the Gauntlets of the Legionnaire I have. I do want to play a tank of a character who deals damage but I am just not sure what to do. Long story short, another player and I were talking over a PM about a "trade." I would give him the Anniversary Medal in exchange to borrow a Medal of Glory until I reach I certain level. I really do not know how I feel about it but I would not mind leveling up at a fast pace after creating a new character.
  20. I have a quick question. Suppose if I wanted to make a new character but I wanted to transfer an item to that character. If that is considered illegal to the rules, could I instead have someone hold onto the specific item and on the new character buy it from them later on?
  21. Struggling to maintain his balance, Mhinak bows to the queen, "Greetings, yer highness, shall we get down to business?"
  22. "Let's return the items and get the hell outta here as soon as possible.."
  23. "Is everyone here so damn dramatic?" Mhinak sighs then waves to the leaving Guardians. Mhinak looks at Lord Fenari, "Piss of ye melodramatic twat." "Elnath, it wasn't an easy decision to fight against Toren like that, especially since he was yer friend. Because of that, you have me respect. Now let's go return the seal and Blue Nekrastone, shall we?"
  24. OoC: I am fine with whatever. Nothing really tickles my fancy. Mhinak laughs at Germ's comment about the lake, "Aye, it really is nothing but a heap of feces and decaying corpses. But the Fenarians are a bunch of major manure outlets so I think they deserve nothing... no offense, Na'im." "But lady Kiray, Krimwood would continue to die without the Brown Nekrastone. Taking them away and destroying them would be great but I think the Guardians, the Star Elves, and the Fenarians will try to kill us and the conflict will still continue."
