Well the pound seems to be going down the pan further and further. Paid for something through PayPal earlier today and there rate is $1.20 = £1. New figures also cost a premium. Wait a month or two and they'll hopefully be a little cheaper.

Nightcrawler needs a tail. Hopefully someone will copy the the devil kid's one in blue from the new Lego character wave soon.

And Quicksilver will have that damn Pink Floyd shirt on. What was LeYiLeBrick thinking when they designed that? It's a RUSH t-shirt all the way through the movie.

Getting there with my Howling Commandos. Lots of Chinese army figures with a few genuine Lego bits to finish it off.

Pogo are big on Star Wars figures lately and use the SW codes. LETO figures are exactly the same as Pogo in my experience - probably another fake brand like KF.

SW413 sounds like a Pogo serial number.

Had a trip to the London Comic Mart yesterday. Their was a stall their selling bootleg figures for £5 a pop. I didn't buy any...

The OK Torch had no hair. All the ones that do have the sticky-uppy variety (SY/JR/Lezi).

Hulk's a new design scrub that, I don't think it is. I wonder if there are other subtle differences with them all.

This is the SX2000 head, with SY169 body and Mr Fantastic's hair. Almost finished my Howling Commandos. Just waiting for Rebel Ralston's hat. Nick Fury was much easier to do before the eye patch.

That could be it. I've only just noticed that the SY artwork is not a direct copy of Lego's. I'd assumed it'd be a straight copy of Thanos with normal legs. Thanks. KF will be deleted!

KF are a huge pain. I never know whether I should treat them as a brand in their own right or not. Big question is are we due a DLP BigFig wave soon? I'm still waiting to know where the Thanos they sell comes from. Now we have Colossus. Be interesting to see whether they've branched out into single-sale SY. At least they put the serials on the packets, so we should find out soon enough.

That sucks. Had a seller try this on a while back giving out duplicate numbers. We all put disputes in and got refunds though. I'm surprised Ali Express can't query there database for the tracking number which would verify it being used for multiple orders. Edit: Just search ya fang in my orders (Best Toy Store) and I've had about 8 orders with no trouble. Odd why they started being dicks.

These are some figures I've done with waterslide laser decals except the Cap Britain on the left which is a 'play' copy using self-adhesive labels . Just make sure you get the right decal paper as it's specifically designed for lasers or inkjet. I've bought stuff from Crafty Computer Papers in the past. I always buy A4 and then cut it down to A6 so I don't waste it. You can fit loads of decals on one tiny sheet. I normally print several copies of everything I need, including some enlarged and reduced by 10% just incase the sizing came out wrong. You can also use some wood floor polishes that dry clear for protecting decals (certainly with laser paper, not sure about inkjet). The paper's so cheap that I'd just experiment. I guess the postage cost is figured in to the price. There's really no such thing as free shipping. Coupled with the fact the the factories probably sell the sets loose cheaper to the AE resellers. I don't think it's a case that they're being unboxed for posting. It does suck. I'm after a boxed Lepin Carbon Freezing Chamber because I'm a sad Boba Fett collector, but it's going to cost as much as the genuine Lego set.

I bought a bootleg Flash off eBay to see what is was like. Then I discovered this thread and Ali Express. No idea how many figures I have now. More than 500. Maybe way more. 1000? The evil glare on the missus's face and the huge grin on my son's says it all. Like a lot of others here I've bought more Lego and customs since I started buying bootlegs.

Just a heads-up for those in the UK, Smyths have £5 off £20, £10 off £50 and £20 off £100 vouchers on their front page at the moment. Coupled with most of their Lego already having a 20% discount and free delivery over £15 for Lego makes for a pretty good deal.

What a weird set. Trouble is I still want the clone of Lego Deathstroke in SY510 but already have two of the Lego set. Why couldn't they have put the Blob or Kingpin in this one? On a plus note, Batcave arrived yesterday. Kept my son quiet for a while. Nice set for just over 20 quid. Kurse is nice, despite the funny feet.

I never got my Thanos, but they refunded as soon as I put a dispute in. Awful seller. It doesn't help that a lot of the sellers operate under different names.

I know that a lot of us on here are trying to keep tabs on what figures are out there and what they based on. It's all a bit overwhelming to keep on top of, with the current rate of releases. I can't keep my website up to date or afford to buy enough figures. I've created a Google Sheet, which I'm going to throw open to anyone here to edit (just PM me). It's public to view so please take a look. I' hoping to keep tabs on bootlegs, custom and genuine figures. I've done Pogo and a whole bunch of Onlinesailin figures so far.
