    I too thought the references were obnoxious. But, do they even count as references? Because there was that whole commercial that has the whole "Before Catwoman" "Before Penguin" thing? The references are obvious even to the smallest Batman fan. What's next? A boy who likes reading about crocodiles, with someone saying he has "killer" knowledge? A small boy named Fries ironically saying that winter is his least favorite? Some guy just walking by drinking a bottle with giant letters saying VENOM?! Sorry, had to vent there.

    Nope. The artist has already stated he knows nothing about the new sets coming. He took his own artistic liberties.

    Hmmm, the price isn't that bad. I'm just hoping there is a decent amount of piece count on the Darkseid Invasion set.

    But they released a Marvel set this year (And 2012) with 4 Minifigs and 1 Bigfig that we're $50.

    You can usually tell by the amount of minifigures. $50 usually have 5 minifigures, so it would make sense that since it has 6 it would be more expensive.

    I'm assuming not all of them won't have leg printing. LEGO is stingy about that.

    Man these pics look great! The Avengers Tower (With Jarvis in robot form!) and Captain America's tank are fantastic! And look at Thanos He looks great! Definitely better then the first Avengers line. I'm so pumped for next year!

    You forgot Supergirl. Ahh! That makes sense. Another thought: Since they didn't use the Martian Manhunter we already have, can we assume this is a new one?

    This is so great to see this! With more JLA members, Legion of Doom members, Supergirl, and Green Arrow. Since I can't afford the SDCC one, I'll gladly take him with a different style. Now, on the builds. First off, I don't like the Gorilla Grodd/Captain Cold set. At all. The mech looks like those weird ultrabuilds from 2012. I will only buy that for the figures. The Black Manta thing is a bit strange. The Batsub is a bit blocky, and Aquaman looks like he used the Atlantis theme to build his fortress(?). I do however like Manta's sub. As for Darkseids set,mi have to say I like the look of it. Between the Javelin and the hovercraft thing, I like it a lot. The same can be said about the Brainiac set. Who am I kidding? I'm going to buy all 5 when they come out! Anyone else realized Wonder Woman has her 52 outfit on the box?

    Hello! I have a Mini Cooper polybag that you could get exclusively in August. Knowing that sometimes you can't get every exclusive polybag, I'm willing to trade the polybag for Super Heroes minifigures. Would prefer good condition for the minifigures and to come with their accessories.     I'm close by, so it wouldn't be too much of an effort to get there. LEGO being my main hobby, I won't get sidetracked by the other things provided by Comic-Con. Going to the convention and being a reporter have been two dreams of mine, and now I have a chance to combine both.

    Hmm, Hulk_Smash said Robin had a red hood. I don't remember him looking like that in the game. Where is this design coming from? Edit: Oh and thanks to the mod that pinned this topic.

    The Grodd/Captain Cold and Black Manta have strange minifigure counts. 6 and 4 minifigures isn't something that has appeared in any Superheroes sets, right?
