  1. While the A-Wing did have an epic scene in ROTJ. I have to agree with mutley, that some people might think it's to similair to Obi-Wan's JSF. It's a guarantee that an UCS B-Wing would come along soon enough, so here it is. The A-Wing aswell has some difficult angles to work around so it might take a while to work out and look decent.
  2. I have two X-Wings, Sopwith Camel and Red Baron's Fokker hanging from my ceiling which is over 50 years old. I used twine (a bit big) but it holds it up very well, just make sure that it's well balanced and it helps to have the string going through some plates. (Helps keep it in the same spot.) When attatching it to the ceiling, make sure it's going through the wooden beams, or just wrapped around them if you can remove to tiles, like mentioned above. Good luck!
  3. Agree, 22 minifigures is a bit much.
  4. Very nice work, that's quite a neat idea for the lights, I might try this in the future. Props on the curved wall.
  5. Good find, I feel this is going to start a whole new wave of Star Wars based memes.
  6. When I saw the woman's shocked face, I was hoping to see a different man inside the house. But this does have a very nice homey sort of feel to it.
  7. The smoothness and the angles just work so well together. Great job once again.
  8. This looks really great, I've always liked mosaics. They eyes seem like the main focus in the reference picture, and I bet if you put some trans red pieces over the whites of the eyes, you could really get the pinkish kind of glow from the picture. Or make a hole and shine a light through it.
  9. Sorry, I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I can`t find the the thread for removing glued minifigures from magnets. Could someone link please.
  10. As much as I'd love to see some Episode II sets. There isn't a whole lot to be made that hasn't already been done.
  11. Revenge of the sixth makes more sense to me.
  12. I really hope that Republic trooper has a helmet. Seems odd to not have one. Thanks for the pics. I'm probably going to pass up on R2 unless someone can figure a way to motorize him.
  13. I had the Leia cake thought in my head for so long, but couldn't think of a good way to execute it.
  14. Couple new ones from me. "Here Dooku, I have just thing to fix that." "Did you two troopers order the seven Leia cake?" Boba Fettish makes his return on his Slave 1.
  15. Evolution of Monkey perhaps? Good photography, but wouldn't really classify this as MOC.
  16. I like the colour schemes but they seem a bit to close the actual walkers, try changing the legs to truly make it your own.
  17. But going through 22 pages of lists doesn't really help find out what the most sought after minifigures collectively will be.
  18. "Use the catapult to attack the enemy with blue milk"
  19. This should be posted on the first page. I don't see the point of all the redunancy in this topic.
  20. Well the Polybag one wasn't as easily obtainable and the Magnet minifigres have always been known to have bad quality, and it includes the little magnet/stand thing which will cost more. Last time I looked on Bricklink, they didn't have separate lots in the minifigure selection for which ones were from magnet or the bag. But if memory serves correctly, all chromed figures have the unchromed bits under the arms and both top portions of the legs. They're both pretty much the same.
  21. If this topic is in the wrong place, move please. I've put it in the Star Wars forum because I've only seen the smaller eco boxes for Star Wars. So. A while back there was some news/rumour of the Star Wars boxes being made smaller (less paper costs ect.) When I got Plo Koon's Starfighter it was in a much smaller box, same with the Hoth Wampa Cave. I forgot about this box change until yesterday when I opened the new Tie Fighter and found a huge box with 3 half filled bags inside. I was talking to the employess at the Lego Store and they said they don't know what happened with them, other than that the possibility of having smaller boxes would reduce the size of the display areas thus not everything being able to be seen.
  22. I think crumb will probably be similair to Rota, will have some small articulation. But really all I remember seeing him do is laugh.
  23. Great review on probably one of my favorite new builders. Thank you Moodswim for blessing this forum with all new kinds of scales.
  24. Ok, so then EVERY Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Toy Story, Spiderman, DC Universe, Ferarri, Mercedes, Porsche ect. ( the list goes on) MOCS are copies just because someone made a brickbuilt version and shouldn't be given credit for it? I hardly see that as being justified. IMO, I agree with Pedro, once you've built something...then seen someone else's with the same techniques. It's super obvious. More than anyone who hasn't had that experience can say.
