This is just amazing, well done. Very good work.

Here we are again with another review that was absent from the index. The human side of the 2007 wave had never really appealed to me, but when the opportunity arose to buy these. I took it, I was in for quite a surprise when I built this. Name: Blade Titan Set Number: 8102 Pieces: 162 Price: $14.99 USD Age: 7-14 Minifigs: 1 Year of release: 2007 Theme: Exo Force Brickset Peeron Bricklink I had ordered this through Bricklink a few weeks ago and no box or instructions were included. Here is what they would look like. Box: Takeshi in the top right corner has changed a bit from the original wave sets and will change again in Deep Jungle theme. Instructions: Same art as box. Unfortunately I have no in progress build photos. The build although is pretty much the same, start on the torso, add the legs, arms, weapons and then some extra details. Completed: Takeshi our lone minifigure has a new darker red with gold chest plate type vest. I really dislike the angry expression, looks a little to extreme, I would rather it just have a smirk or a type of 'yahoo!' after destroying something. Side by side with new and old Takeshi and normal expression. I was thoroughly surprised once built, at first this set almost repulsed me, but it looks way better in person. Front: Side: Back: Here comes big foot, built in similar fashion to Iron Condor and Sky Guardian. The blade in Blade Titan One of the playability features is that you can spin the shield and when it does spin, centrifugal force makes the blades extend out and act more like swords. Here is a video showing it work, plus the Gatling gun which can rotate as well. Here is our Gatling gun, I really like this aside from the skinny little arms. An absolutely HUGE improvement is that the cockpit is almost completely enclosed which was a downfall in almost every other mecha. *tickle tickle* The white technic beam sticks out a bit to much for my liking, some little details such as the little satellite, plus what I'm thinking are four missles? A final picture, this mecha has some serious fighting ability. Overall: Playability: 10/10 The shield blades work very well, easily poseable, plus the Gatling gun is a bonus. Design: 7/10 I don't want to give design a low score because of how plain the backside is, but the closed cockpit is a plus. Price: 8/10 Great price, easily for the children to afford and is something they would enjoy. Minifigure: 6/10 Alternate expression is not great, new dark red is nice, fits in well with the colour scheme of mecha. Parts: 8/10 The shield blades are great, plus some other pieces that can more easily fit in with other MOCS, more dark red is always great. Total: 39/50 Just a really nice mecha overall with great features and functions.

A bit surprised this hasn't been noticed more. A definite improvement that is almost necessary in my opinion. Good work.

I have joined the Reviewers Academy, my application reviews will probably be smaller sets. Okay, that would make sense, wasn't sure why. Thanks!

Haven't seen this set in the review index so I'll just take a stab at it. This is one of the main 3 sets released in the 2007 Exo Force wave. In my opinion, the 6 main sets in the 2007 wave were some of the weakest, but their special editions are some of the best. Name: Iron Condor Set Number: 8105 Pieces: 141 Price: $14.99 US Age: 7-14 Minifigs: 1 Theme: Exo Force Year of Release: 2007 Brickset Peeron Bricklink I no longer own the box, so here's one that someone else took Here are all 141 parts in their unusual glory, not really the most useful set for parts but it has a decent variety. Some of the interesting pieces in the set. 2007 used a mix of clicky joints and ball joints. It's a bit strange to use both, but they serve their purpose. Technic fans should recognize the pieces used as wings. Back then there were no flick fire missles so we got the feather touch missle launcher. Almost every Exo Force instruction booklet is the same size, this is the smallest size. Included is the very nice Devastator drone with a red marble, seen previously in Thunder Fury *Error* *Error* The Build: Cut to the chase we've already built the torso ball joint connectors in place, plus a strange 1x4 black plate. What could it be? An after thought? Let's wait and see. Legs attached plus the absolutely massive feet, this is common with Blade Titan and Sky Guardian as well. Doubting the usefulness of the fins on the sides. The back leaves much to be desired. Left arm complete, very skinny and bare. However I do like having mech's with 'fingers'. And you thought the left arm was bad, the right arm only contains 5-6 pieces ! Starting to take shape, looking a little better. Both wings completed, ball joints make these easier to position. The red and blue technic pins are an eyesore Once you see them, you cannot unsee them. Yup, that 1x4 plate contains one missile, afterthought for sure. We add a couple of details on the front and we're on our way. Plus the Exo Code piece which was actually printed as compared to the stickers in the Deep Jungle series. The codes have outlived their usefulness as Exo Force is no longer on lego.com. Iron Condor definitely has a lack of firepower, so this little gun is made, plus its a place for the devastator to stand. I guess big feet don't always equal a big gun... Everything together and it doesn't actually look to bad. The side however.... and then the back! Good view of the massive feet. Comic included in the back proves the usefulness of Iron Condor. Side note: In the instructions for Blade Titan, the Exo code is actually on the other side, but oh well. Since Lego is not able to fly, our Iron Condor will be an Iron Ostrich, making a mad dash for something to grab. Bonus: The feet do have a use! Overall: Playability: 5/10 On it's own, this can't do anything, but the missile launcher adds some fan, as do the easily poseable joints. Design: 6/10 All Exo Force sets have incomplete backs and gaps around the legs and arms, but thats the only way they can be $20 and 140ish pieces. Price: 8/10 Exo Force was at a decent price point aimed more for kids than the older Gundam/anime fans. Minifigure: 8/10 While Some will complain that the Drone's legs and torso are useless for parts, the red hue is a definate plus. Parts: 5/10 Not to great selection, but I'm sure someone can make use of these. Overall: 32/50 Not great, but not bad either. A definite member of a total Robot legion.

A couple of the other themes have forums like this and haven't seen one for the Sci-Fi forum. I'll just get the ball rolling with my collection. It's mainly Exo Force that I've been collecting for 5 or so years now. I have some Space Police III sets that are not included in this picture. If the keen eye can't notice everything included, there is/are. Robots; 2 Fire Vultures 1 Thunder Fury 1 Striking Venom 1 Iron Condor 1 Sonic Raven (not pictured) 1 Robot Sentry 1 Claw Crusher 1 Meca One's mech from Sentai Fortress 1 Dark Panther Exo Force; Grand Titan Stealth Hunter Uplink Silent Strike Cyclone Defender Blade Titan Sky Guardian Aero Booster Golden Guardian Sentai Fortress Supernova Jungle Cutter Chameleon Hunter Golden Tower (not pictured) Mobile Defence Tank (not pictured) Expect to see a good number of Exo Force reviews to pop up.

Did you say that because the Obi Wan figures and a couple of the Ackbars do indeed have holes in their heads? -

That tan AT-AT is very nice. I like how each shelf has a common theme to it. -
Having a large collection/layout and then moving has just got to be the worst thing ever.
-
Very smooth feel to it, like the use of the trans tubing to convey movement.

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars minifigures?
Ritz Brick replied to Darthking623's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I have about 15 Stormtroopers that I have gotten from the past few years and 1 from Ewok Attack set back in 2002. He still can't compare to the new ones. The day I first put him together I was in love. -
I think you might need to try again.

Eurobricks certainly isn't the place to gloat and put down other peoples collections. -
I think the lime works very well, acting as a slime. Although most real swamps are more brownish and dark green. This is a much more Legoish feel to it and suits the swamp creature well. Good work on the rock formation as well.

How much is your SW collection worth?
Ritz Brick replied to Admiral-Ackbar's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Funny you ask, I had just totaled, everything I have is around $11,000 CDN, according the BL and there is between $1,600-$2,000 of Star Wars, depending on who would be buying. -
The Reek is actually quite nice, and while I believe you could expand this much much more. You have achieved the point of making this a System style/scale set. Unfortunately, I'm doubting we will ever get to see Geonosian style battle droids
-
These are great. Just the regular stormie is probably my favorite. Do you have Zombie Geonosian and regular?

I love these, while my only gripe is that with 501st Commando, the hanger was the star of the show, but you can't really see it in that pic. Although that would be hard to capture.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Ritz Brick replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I already own one that I have built, and the only reason I would buy this second one, would be to just collect and keep over time seeing as how it is quite sought after and people like the large number of droids. -

My first thought was that it was like what Brickdoctor said, a key chain. But wasn't originally a Snowtrooper. I remember a Stormtooper key chain having some kind of Lego logo on it. But for all I know, it could be someone just mixing parts around. My question. I'm able to pick up a sealed 7662 in box for $300. The cheapest BL price for sealed is $420. But those prices just seem too high for what it actually is. Do you think it's a good deal? -
As soon as I saw the name, I had to look. Like others said, the people are fantastic. I hope to see more MOCS made this way.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Ritz Brick replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I don't consider number of pieces to really reflect the price of the sets anymore, it's more like the quality of pieces. I'm going to assume that the Fury Class will have some small techic bits and little pieces. As for the rest seems to be our more 'basic'. Whereas Jabbas Palace has a number of new molds plus large pieces as well as Jabba himself will cost a bit on his own. -
Another new X-Wing, 4 Endor battle packs and battle of Naboo that was on sale. Plus 2 TC-14.

The manager at my lego store told me that it;s only one minifig per transaction. So you could pay $75 in cash and the rest on something else, and they will give you two. They keep the inventory based on the number of transactions recorded. That's how I got two.
