  1. Ooc-Actually, that was walking back to Annienal after the trading shouting had completed.
  2. "Your logic has an obvious fault, sir: I'm standing right in front of you!" Warlen walks off. "And I'm not an Elf, sir!"
  3. "Excuse me? You sell the items we were bargaining for mid-conversation without even telling me?" Warlen raised his eyebrow. "You killed a Dragon, Annie. I can't see how your parents wouldn't be impressed." "Well, how 'bout 150 gold?"
  4. "How much for the scroll?"
  5. The conversation having ground to an awkward halt, Warlen fidgeted in his chair before mumbling, "Sooo... umm... where'd you get your Armour?" "How much?"
  6. Actually, I find this funnier than I should. I don't know why.
  7. Warlen/Hekz: I think we have a multimillion hit on our hands! Ooh, nice. We'll see.
  8. Warlen slides the Venom back to Nalguz, saying no more as he turns back to his fellow Mystic Knight.
  9. Warlen ponders fighting the demon, but decided against it. "Deal." he said back, taking the scroll and passing 50 gold. "Vind!" he said, tossing him 5 gold. "Can you give me a Venom? I need it short notice."
  10. Warlen looked just as sheepish as Annie did, his initial confidence gone. "Oh, I wasn't complimenting you. Well, I was, but really, you look great in this light. M'lady."
  11. Yeah, I didn't realise it till I posted it. I then set about fixing it.
  12. Warlen walks into the hall, his cloak streaming behind him. As he walked past the board, twin bolts of fire extended from his fingers, Signing him up for Quests #135 and #137. Walking confidently over to Annienal, he sat next to her. "My Lady. I see you've taken up the same path as I, although perhaps not of Eulalia, from your glowing aura. Or is that simply your beauty? I cannot tell."
  13. Warlen crosses town, over to the Ji-Pei's headquarters. After much talking and getting lost, he managed to claim a favour. Walking into a lab, he looked at the Aoi scientists inside, and began talking. *** Several hours later, Warlen emerged with a much less bulky Sword-Cannon. His favour hadn't extended to Lind's shield, but the sword looked much more streamlined. Strapping it to his side, he thanked the Scientists and exited the building. *** After a good nights rest in the Hall, Warlen awoke early so as to make it to the training hall. Walking in, he marvelled at all the equipment. "Looking for something?" Warlen turned, seeing the Veteran approaching him. "Are you the Golden Dingo?" Copper Fox looked at him. "Copper Fox's the name. I'm the one who'll be training you." "Ok, Wolf. Show me how to summon giant elemental creatures of power and fury. Actually, hilarity is better than fury. Power and hilarity, please." "..." *** Hour later, Warlen was looking frustrated. "Tell it to me straight, Dog. Why can't I summon monsters of Power and Hilarity?" "Well, I can't be sure-" "Yes you can. I can tell you're being modest. Don't." "Fine. It seems that the darkness that's corrupting your soul is... prohibiting your connection to nature." "Meaning?" "You literally can't summon elemental creatures." Warlen looked dismayed. "Well, what else can I do? I'd kind of like to be a Sage, but then I couldn't use this shield!" "Well, aside from the fact that the darkness will probably block the holy magic, Evokers can't use shields either. And I can't see you becoming a Battle Mage, and being a sorcerer would probably make the darkness worse. Show me that shield of yours." Warlen handed the shield to him. "Eulalia, eh?" "Who?" "You know, the God of Mysticism and the forest. Symbol's an eagle." "What're you hinting at?" "Well, a shield with a symbol for the God of Mysticism... How about a Mystic Knight?" "Hmmm... well, I've got a sword and a shield. Why not?" "Well then. Shave off that stubble, soldier. No slouches in the court of Eulalia." *** Hours later, a powerful knight strode out of the Training Hall, conversing with a Veteran. "...and remember, Melimane. Humour is good, but you need to temper it with discipline." "Yes sir!" "Good luck, elf." 14. "Yes?" Warlen swaps the items.
  15. There goes my paycheck! So it's useless now, I guess.
  16. Man Endgame, who's left to sell that Viper Scale to? Maybe it's for Fabian, Portia, Anwyl or Dain? Or Sorrow!
  17. "Oh, wait, they're crushers. Still up for a trade?"
  18. Scrolls? And your lens?
  19. I love how heroes always have the exact amount of money in a bag to buy what they need.
  20. Doing some quick arithmetic in his head, Warlen grins. "125 to 150?"
