Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
DuckBricks replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I said Lego never made a playlist. That's completely different from saying Lego didn't post them. I posted the playlist made by some other Youtuber because a.) it was made up of links to the videos from Lego's official channel and b.) it's a lot easier than saying they're scattered across Lego's channel in non-English writing, good luck finding them. Not sure what the confusion is here as I said pretty clearly I couldn't find an official playlist by Lego on their channel. (Read: none exists) I was just trying to help people out by linking a playlist. Anyway, they're all up on Lego.com as well under the videos page, so there's that. As far as the Weekend Whip argument goes, it's the theme song of the entire show, so it is understandable it gets remixed every season under a very similar name. "We Are Ninjago" doesn't seem to have anything to do with "We are Ninja" and as I believe that's what NinjaJayNuva was getting at. It's excusable if it's a remix, it's a bit annoying if two songs have very similar titles and are completely different.- 4,591 replies

Lego posted character spots for a bunch of characters last week; here's a link to a playlist. It also ices a longer sneak peek at the new Whip! Someone's made a playlist as I can't find an official Lego playlist: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLelpU0cM4HGwVxJo0evWPT3avfCdwsns0- 4,591 replies

Agree with most of your points, except I think Bionicle still has a ways to go to reach the level of Ninjago, which is acceptable given the latter has been around for 5 years and 64 22-minute TV episodes...

Sounds good!

Yup! Now we shall wait till the weekend for DraikNova's MOC description. Remember DraikNova - do NOT post the MOC image here, just a description. PM me the MOC image and when we are all done I'll release the full graphic. Have fun everyone! (Oh, and signups are still open for the later weeks)
-
No restrictions other than no clone brands! :) (even non-purist Lego parts like removed decals is ok). Glad you're in. I'll put you down for week 3 then!
-
Glad to see you're interested! DraikNova, since you seem to be able to build something by the end of the week, do you want to start it and PM me a link to your MOC photo when you're done? Then you could post a description on his topic and someone else (maybe Hadidi1999) can make a MOC based on it? Thanks for participating! Ah! Knew it was you. Would you be interested in participating again?

Hey all, I was browsing Flickr recently and noticed something interesting - a user named Victor held a Constraction Telephone Game on a French Bionicle site. Here's the results: https://flic.kr/p/zceNbS.Seeing the number of MOCs posted on Eurobricks every day, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing something like this. I'll be changing up the rules a bit, so I'll try to describe how this works and then post a sample interaction. The starting person will make a MOC and then do his or her best to post a detailed description of the MOC in this topic. He/she will also PM a picture of the MOC to me so I can use it in the ending overview. The next person to reply will have one week to attempt to replicate the MOC described by the first person. If he doesn't post a MOC description by the end of the week, he forfeits his turn. We can continue this after 8 people have posted or a month has gone by. Here's a sample interaction: Person A: MOC PM'ed to LegoZebra. Description: A large, green, dinosaur like creature with yellow wings. Person B: making this one. Person B: MOC PM'ed to LegoZebra. Description: Large Green Rahi with large feet and claws with wings. Person C: making this one. And so on. A tip is to not make your descriptions way too detailed, as it will be fun to see the evolution of the MOCs at the end. Anyone interested? Seems like a fun concept to me... Thanks for playing! Week 1: Draiknova - "A red, six-legged rahi with a large mouth." Description submitted 13 Mar Image submitted 13 Mar Week 2: Hadidi1999 - "With wings, four arms, and a Mermaid tail, You can rule the sky and the sea." Description submitted 20 Mar Image not submitted yet. Week 3: Warhead - "a brightly colored insectoid with many tiny legs and pincer claws" Description submitted 27 Mar Image submitted 27 Mar Week 4: LegoZebra (me) - "A neon green, snakelike Rahi with a dragon-like head and spiked protruding from its body. Two pairs of skeletal wings protrude from its body." Description submitted 10 Apr Image submitted 10 Apr Week 5: avatarbrickman - "A yellow, ten-legged creature" Description submitted 19 Apr Image Submitted 26 May Week 6: Junior Shark- "A golden figure riding an overgrown brown and black arachnid/crab/rahi" Description submitted 29 Apr Image not submitted yet Week 7: TechnoVirus- "A woodlouse like creature with brown, tan and dark grey Color scheme" Description and Image submitted 6 May Week 8: Anthony12901 - "A rahi with neon green eyes and sharp teeth. One half is mutated with black, gunmetal, and trans purple. The other is azure blue, trans dark blue, and silver" Description and Image submitted late May 17 Week 9: LegoZebra finishes the game - "" Description and Image submitted May 25 More weeks to come if there are more entrants!

Lego Nexo Knights TV Series Discussion
DuckBricks replied to DuckBricks's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Watched all ten, and I didn't actually see him... I may have just missed him, though. -
Loved Journey to One! I had high hopes but low expectations, but was blown away. It was amazing! The only thing that seemed a bit off was that it seemed like it was a "season 2" of an already existing show, and we were very abruptly introduced to the characters, even with the intro. I'd rather we started off with 2015 as the first episode and then went from there... But it was still pretty awesome. If anything, it made me think Ketar was cute and lovable, which is a tremendous accomplishment...

Where they only appear in photographs on a billboard as far as I can tell...?

Zeus is probably just some overarching project name or code name for Lego Dimensions, seeing as it's connected to HP and is the title of a trailer...

Oh, forgot to mention the Ninjago: Skybound app is now on the iPhone App Store... It's the same as the one on the Ninjago website, but still fun. -
Lego Ninjago 2016
DuckBricks replied to LegendsOfNinjago's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The TV show calls them Airjitsu gis, but Lego calls them Skybound outfits. Airjitsu seems more accurate as Nya did not "earn" hers until she unlocked Airjitsu, hence two different variants this wave. Edit: ninja'd, sorry -
Grew up with Dino Island sets... I will always have a soft spot for the Dino molds. They were in my very first stop action movie, I brought dinosaurs everywhere I went, I just loved those dinos... Maybe the sets weren't the best, but I'm choosing between this for pure nostalgic factor.

Really? That's really weird... It accesses your Target stock directly... What I do is go up to the employee, tell them I checked their stock online and it's in stock, and usually they are just surprised I can check it online and go and get it. They may have just told you they didn't have it because the Target I went to said it was street dated at March 1st (but gave it to me anyway as I came with a kid (pro tip this helps so much)) but maybe your Target didn't want to bother talking about the street date and just told you they didn't have it. The only reason for it to say it's there and it isn't is theft, which is possible but unlikely... The main reason actually may be that, since you're here at Eurobricks, you're over 18/19 (possibly a lot older than that), and they won't be as motivated to go find you Lego sets. :/)
