Wow... I can actually see this happening... Although LEGO would have to explain A LOT to the new audience of how this ties in with the old universe... But a Great Being named Makuta I can see, they could have named the Brotherhood of Makuta in the Matoran Universe in honor of this Great Being... I can see some crazy collector buying the solid gold masks from someone at an inordinate amount in a few years like the platinum avokhii... I assume the outward physical appearance of the mask will remain the same but the side connectors will be modified and changed granting that the official images of these masks don't really show much of the side connections or back at all...

This legend video seems more akin to the original Turaga's tale with rocks... It's just the basis of the legend, not the main storyline... So previous comparisons between the original main bionicle storyline with Toa washing up and this are like comparing apples to oranges...

On a different topic, I'm hoping that Lego would have a Bionicle Happy Meal McDonalds promo giving away... Masks! If they were really mean, they would but then in CMF style bags where it's a random selection...

Wow, completely forgot about mask powers! Funny how The Mask of Creation is named after a pier and the Mask of Control presumably can control things but their powers were never mentioned... Maybe the Toa do have mask powers and they just didn't mention it yet... It would defeat the purpose of mask packs if they didn't have individual powers... At least even a cameo of Vezon encountering them in a mini episode...

Ha! That's exactly what it looks like! Now that I'm calmed down, I'm happy to see gear functions on all the Toa... It's a bit obvious on Pohatu, but I hope they all have different functions and not just all the same swinging arms thing the Toa Metru had going on... Yeah, really similar to the Metru heads!
