Thanks BrickJagger. I like to imagine the 2 kings are twins and they managed to find queens who are twins as well :P , which is why everything is more or less the same ;)

Hi there everyone, i have been posting much ehre but as I was cleaning up the dust from 2 of my sets today, I decided to take some picture of them. Here's the Blue Lion faction which I have put together (12 spearmen, 4 man-at-arms, 4 knights, 6 archers, 2 crossbowmen, 1 king and 1 queen) To the left of this set is a similar make up of troops and they are the Red Lions faction. here's a pic of both the 2 of them side by side Also noticed that there are some members who use these: I think they are big and not very functional especially when my kids try to pose the minifigs on castle turrets and ramparts. For making minifigs stand without falling, it use these: A size comparison with the black base, the green base is 2x4 studs whilst the black one is 3x4 i believe An example of what I am talking about, you can see that the green base takes up a lot less space and can easily fit onto the narrow castle ramparts and turrets of the lego castle as opposed to the black ones. here are 2 of my customized elven infantry o the base. You can get these from bricklink for quite a low price. I bought 500 (i think it is about 2p ea)of these as I regularly play tabletop wargames using lego with my kids. Anyway that for now :) I might post my other armies in future as I clean up the dust and tidy them up.

IMO, I think nexo knights is just going to stay for awhile. Looking at Ninjago, you have a blend of Asian theme with fantasy and tech scifi. I think this is what TLG will be doing with Nexo knights ie following the route which Ninjago is on. Short answer, seriously doubt there will be any castle sets being released as long as Nexo Knights are around.

Found this today in my old laptop and thought I share it. I am not very sure if this has been done by anyone here before so here goes :) This is the ED-209 from the movie robocop which Ibuilt using LDD a few years ago. Hope you guys enjoy it. If anyone is able to improve on it, feel free to do so :) ED-209 LDD File thanks for viewing :)

Cool, are there any pics? would like to see how you did it. I suppose they would be bigger than what I created here then.

Hi there, sorry, about the permission thingy. I hardly ever share anything from google drive. It should work now :)

I dont think it is possible to put a minifig in there lol I am working on a tron legacy one now and it is quite tight to put a fig in there. for these I would think it is best to leave them as it is. Anyway, here's the lxf Tron 80's Light Cycle: https://drive.google...dit?usp=sharing Just finished working on the Legacy model. Here is a picture of it :) I cannot get the figure to "sit" into the bike on LDD so I just estimated the space in there so technically, the figure should be able to go in as the leg assembly is already in the bike. The design is roughly based on what I seen on google where I did a bit of research.

Thanks. I will get them attached in a moment. I am working on the Tron Legacy version atm :)

Hi guys, I have been working on a few Light Cycles from the movie Tron back in the 80s. So far I have only been building them up on Lego Digital Designer and this is my final draft :) The designs are researched off various different designs and this is my interpretation so am hoping for some comments before I get piece off Bricklink and start building it. I am going to build the White one and see if I have enough funds to build all of them lol. Here are some screenshots off LDD.

Hello everyone, and thanks for the welcome lol. Yup there is a new lego store in metro center. only been there once or twice. I wish they would open a huge shop with all the range of legos in there rather than the normal looking store.

Hi there everyone, I am Elvin from Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. When I was little my parents bought a couple of lego sets ie the Kings Castle 6080 and some other small sets to accessorize the larger one.My parents slowly discouraged me from playing with them as they kept pointing out that they are mean for 5 to 12 years of age (as printed on the boxes) Now, having my own kids and home, I started to collect the sets which I wanted as a kid. After collecting all the sets I wanted, I slowly went into looking for certain themes and characters in lego. However, while searching on google, I found that there are people customizing their minifigures by printing and even painting them. Which, brought me to this forum. So far, the only minifigs I have customized are just using unmodified parts from various sets and bashing them together. Here are someof the latest items I have been working on: Zorro (hat from lego minifig musketeer, torso from star wars, generic black legs asm, masked head from lone ranger, custom 3rd party sword) The Three Musketeers (swapped heads with other heads to give them each a different look :) ) Cardinal Guards and Rochefort Well, thats all the customization from me for the moment. I am working on a character from Capcom (Strider Hiryu) and might post it once I get it done. See you guys around ;)
