I bought the grand emporium, pet shop, town hall, and fire brigade all in about a five week span. It was a little crazy with a new modular to build nearly every weekend. My guess would be the grand emporium or town hall is next to retire. I saw that the town hall was briefly out of stock during the double points this month, maybe that means something, maybe not. I wouldn't be concerned with the palace cinema or Parisian restaurant any time soon. If we do see a retirement this year, we should also see a new modular as well?

BnP and PAB are both more expensive than bricklink right?

I know, but like you said the pet shop doesn't have enough pieces so you'll have to buy more sand blue. I'd rather put the money towards sand green but that's just me.

I counted 51 sand green grooved bricks that were visible to the exterior, the rest can be replaced with regular 1x2s.

Your best bet is to just use a regular 1x2x3 window. I am starting a GG and have substituted it as the train window isn't even facing out and now you can use a piece of glass in the new window

How much are you all spending on bricklinking the green grocer? Trying to figure out a ballpark figure. Today I put together a spreadsheet, now I guess I need to check out stores for each part and then find matches?

Need some advice, I am starting to bricklink the GG. I have my wanted list made along with some modifications. I have modified it so that while the front looks original I have switched all the sand green on the sides and back to light grey. Anyways how do I go about order parts the most efficient and cost effective way? Brickficiency gives no matches when search for up to 5 stores.

I've yet to see where you can buy this set except on eBay

I use three ring binders with sheet protectors for the instructions, then dividers to separate themes. The only issue is some of the older, larger set instruction books are too long and hang out of the sleeves by an inch or so.

I picked up one on bricklink for $200 shipped, definitely a great deal compared to ebay
