I get the feeling it'd be one part, it's just too complicated to have a hairpiece that works wityh other helmets, and a helmet that looks good without the hairpiece. :-/ Anyway, this is very exciting stuff, I can;t wait to see what 2009 holds for us! 2009 ON! ~Peace

Very nice! :-) The vehicle is neat, the windshield is a clever addition, and you gotta love the six wheels. But I'm not so keen on the crazy robot arms. Still, the robot is kinda cute. ~Peace

Wow! Stunning! :'-) So detailed, I love all the chains and ropes and weapons and everything! :'-) The elevator is sweet, I love how it just kind of lies lopsided at the bottom, it looks very post Apocalypse. :-D A rat in the food bucket? Delicious! :-X :-P Seriously, this is all so cool, I love it! Who would have thought those portcullis pieces could be used so effectively? Great job! *y* *y* ~Peace

A very unique contest idea, I'm in! :-D ~Peace

Thanks LuxorV and dragonator! :-D Heheh, gotta love the crab. :-D As for how the guy get sin the turret, I actually have no excuse for that. He flies. :-P Really, that's one major flaw. X-D I guess I'll have to borrow some ladders from my castle display. ~Peace

Thanks Exobuilder! Very much! :-D I kind of agree with you on the jeep though, it was very experimental for me, in fact I originally planned for it to be a broken down scrap heap. :-D Aw, shucks. :-$ Ya made me smile. X-D Aw, ya got me smiling again! :-P Huh? Oh, I must have forgot to finish writing the description when uploading the photos. I'll get right to that! I thought you'd like that. X-D Thanks again for your in-depth analysis, Batbrick! :-D I do appreciate it, and thanks for the criticisms too. About the car, ah, I'll get to that at the end. Where they sleep, hmm. Dave snoozes in the turret, it's quite comfortable in there. Calibre sleeps on the roof, he's practically wearing a blanket anyway, and the nights are surprisingly warm due to the heat radiating from the toxins still deep below the soil. About 3, maybe 4 can fit in the building. And the other two... stand guard. There. X-D As for colours, I tipped out my box of black and my box of red, and got building along with my box of unsorted parts. The turret, uh, that's the pride of all the Savages buildings. The one they put the most effort in to make it look great, nice and red, packed with firepower, and standing like a boulder. That's why it's not as ramshackle as the rest. There's my half-assed cover ups! X-D This post-Apoc is based on my own version, where instead of scarring the land and wiping everything away, it poisoned, mutated and altered the land instead, creating strange plant life and creatures. The world has survived a long time since the Apocalypse, and is slowly healing. So, the world is gradually beginning to get back to normal, nature-wise. Really? The jeep? I thought that looked most scrappiest. :-/ Anyway, these people have fought a lot of battles, and salvaged a lot of parts and technology. And paint. Looots of paint. They like to mark their buildings in their image as much as possible, and they find the red and black structures evoke a sort of fear into their enemies. Thus why the metal is black and red, not brown and grey. ;-) Ah, the dropship. Yes, that belongs to the Hunters, who have technology, and plenty of resources. I only used it because I happened to put this creation on my shelf next to this, and thought, hey, I can add that and make a cool battle scene. I thought it would be cool to start the thread with a pic like that, so I did. The dropship isn't an actual part of the MOC, and I am well aware it's just the one from the Imperial Dropship set. Also, it gave me a chance to show it off. :-P Still, I appreciate your criticism, and hope I've cleared things up for you. *sweet* Now, about the jeep. As I said before, I originally planned it to be a pile of scrap, to take up room. As I was limited to parts, I just kind of mixed and matched things, to create something unique. I actually quite like how I did the rear axis. I put the slope pieces on front to create a sort of armoured car battering ram type vehicle. I planned to have a turret on the back, and to have it fit, I used those bits to make it elevated. Once I had the structure, I added little details and stuff, I decided to add dark red to the colour palette as I had cool parts in that colour. I made the front lopsided to give it a scrappy feel, and added all the spikes to give it an Orky feel. Yes, I based this entire MOC, buildings and all, on the Orks of Warhammer 40K. X-D I wanted to make the bottom somewhat realistic too, so added bits and pieces that also conveniently strengthened it too. So, I have no idea what I'm talking about anymore, so that's enough. X-D ~Peace

Wow! I'd be interested in seeing the rest of the Head for the Hills Apocalego contest entries. I love the hut in this one, and the tree and twigs and what-not. All very cool. Great find! *y* ~Peace

I present to you my latest creation; A post-Apoc base! Okay, so it doesn't look entirely post-Apoc, but it suits my post-Apoc world. Kinda. A rebel human faction has welcomed the carnage brought on by the apocalypse, and even though the world is healing, these guys go out of their way to cause pain. Though not actually Savages, they adopted the name, well, because it sounded cool. They hold out in various bases, each heavily defended. Here's a less action-packed shot of the above scene, with less glare. ;-). The shack, a small building built by the savages. Each picture in my flickr provides information about stuff, but if you're not into story, then just look at the pics I post in the links. ;-) The interior, the patched up wall, the roof-mounted cannon, the back window, some more pics. ;-) The Battle Jeep. The other side, the front, the bottom with greebles (kinda), the turret cockpit, the turret, the Jeep with people inside. The good stuff. Hello! The empty cockpit, the cockpit opened, sides A, B, C and D, all littered with detail. (Get it? 'Litter'? :-P) And the opposite side of the first turret pic. And lastly, the beloved Savages, grouped into A and B, for your convenience. Comments and criticism welcomed! Seriously! I really appreciate them. *sweet* And 'pologies for my shoddy photography! X-D Peace ~iamded Oh, and feel free to drop by my flickr and take a look at the other photos, read the descriptions and whatnot. X-D If they're there, 'parently I've reached my 200 photo limit. 8-|

If I didn't make it clear in my first post, it's not actually real, it was an April Fools joke I think. ;-) Still, it would be cool, wouldn't it? X-D ~Peace

I for one made the connection and think it's hilarious! Wow, have we really gone through 25 of these? Great stuff in my opinion, Doctor S.! Keep it up! :-D ~Peace

So, although the idea of Lego Halo in bricks is good, but highly unlikely, how about Lego Halo the video game? Click here for article. Heh, it's not actually real, but I'd like to know what you guys think of the idea of it. I think it could be good, although the controls and game play would be identical to LSW, the stoyline would have little bonuses and extras not in the actual Halo game. It could be interesting. *sweet* ~Peace

I love it! *wub*
