  1. Alright, so yeah. After pouring over the events of yesterday, I still don't know who to vote for. But so help me, my vote shall be placed by the end of the day!
  2. That fits in with my theory about the scum's night actions too. But apparently that's wrong, as it seems we've come to the conclusion that only townies targeted Edgar last night. So if the scum do have a blocker, perhaps they targeted a vanilla townie or something last night? As to who to vote for, I'm still reviewing yesterday's happenings. I know we must convict someone, but of course we don't want to send a townie to their death.
  3. I say we follow those footprints! Anyone disagree?
  4. I hope you read listened to all of that, I put a lot of effort into it. And technically, that unvote and vote shouldn't count, as today's voting hasn't yet begun, so hopefully, if God is feeling merciful, you'll be allowed your daily unvote when voting begins for real. Wow that was a lot of pauses. Anyway, I appreciate the thought. You can come along with Cara Cow and Lauren Lamb to the party later.
  5. Pennie! I thought we had something special! You can't vote me off, what would the ladies do without me? They'd have to settle for Cammy Crocodile... Now, let me go over your points and tell you why you're wrong. There's your first mistake. It wasn't megabloks! Several people have praised it... Words can hurt too Penny... The Baker and his missus gave me a bag holding a magic substance. However, magic scares me (There, I said it. Are you happy? ) and I didn't trust myself with it, so I happily left the bag alone by my bed. When the Crow (or demon, or demon worshipper or whatever) attacked me, it was incentive enough to overcome my fear of magic, and threw whatever magic stuff was in the bag at the Crow guy. Turned out to be powder, which as it happens, burns evil Crows' flesh. I thought all these detail to be unimportant, and I wanted to portray myself as an awesome hero of victory, so I simplified things to hold people's attention and get my story across. Right, now I'm confused. There was no second batch of powder. I never said there was. I threw my magic powder at the Crow, right? Then, as the powder burnt it's flesh, there was a flash of red light, and my magic flesh-burning powder was incinerated from the Crow's body, hence stopping the flesh burning. This red flash of powder-incinerating light would have been a defensive measure of the Crow, or as I hypothesised, the result of someone protecting the Crow. So just to be crystal clear, the flash of red light removed my powder from the Crow, it didn't add more powder. Mkay. Let me write a short play. So basically, my defensive night action cancelled out Crow's offensive night action, and protection or something of the Crow's cancelled out the counter-attack of my night action. Therefore the crow couldn't kill me because the powder acts as protection from demons or demon worshippers (that also apparently is supposed to kill any demon or demon worshipping attacker, provided they're not protected I guess). Well, I'm not blind. What are you saying? That I shouldn't be able to see what I'm doing? Let me make it clear that I don't know who attacked me. I know what attacked me, a crow carrying a sickle. It could be someone in disguise, because I don't see any crows among us. I really don't get what you're getting at here. Using my magic powder and having my eyes open at the same time is not two separate night actions. Hey, I'm not trying to draw attention away from Edgar's night time shenanigans. I'm just telling what happened to me last night. Would you rather I not mention how I was freakin' attacked by a sickle wielding Crow? I don't think so! The people need to know, you can't silence the truth! So okay. Let's say Edgar was targeted by the scum-bag Demon Legion. That would mean: The Demon Legion have 2 killers, or can target 2 kills in one night. (Probably with penalties or something, this is an all-furs game, I imagine God would want to spice things up.) Unlikely, but I guess a possibility. The town vigilante attacked me. I doubt this however, as the Crow was pretty evil looking. You should have seen it. It was scary. I was scared, and I'm not scared by much. Also, sickles. Typically evil when used as a weapon, seems fitting for some sort of Demon Legion. And another thing! Why would magic powder burn the flesh of something that's neutral? It just seems more like the kind of thing designed to take down evil beings. Third possibility: There's another evil faction. Of killer crows! Or maybe not. Still, the possibility of another faction should not be ruled out. I'm not trying to draw attention away from the fact that someone here may have the name of the killer. In fact, HEY GUYS! Someone here may have the name of the killer! How about that, eh? A vote wasted, dear Penny. Oh wait, it's Pennie. Hmm, are you sure this isn't all stemming from my pronouncing your name as Penny instead of Pennie yesterday? Talk about holding a grudge... Anywho, I urge you to look at my rebuttals carefully, to re-read my play armed with the clarity and knowledge provided by my answers here, and for Christ's sake unvote me. Otherwise the fact that you're trying to vote off the one guy who's immune to Evil Crow night kills may seem suspicious. Also, Cara Cow, Lauren Lamb, I appreciate the appreciation that I'm alive. We must celebrate this later, I've a few ideas how... And Pennie, I take it I won't be getting those apples any more... And one last thing, sorry to keep going on, but aren't you supposed to wait until we're told we can vote, or something? I understand your eagerness to convict someone, but that's no reason to disregard the rules...
  6. That's just the thing, it was a crow. However there are no crows among us, so either the scum don a disguise when they attack, or they have someone/thing else do their dirty work... Which would make identifying the attacker a tad difficult.
  7. Oh, yes please! Yes, definitely. Yesterday I thought there wouldn't be a penalty for failing to convict, so I wasn't too worried when no conviction was reached. While this was true, it seems our resident monk used his one-time demon stopping move, and he won't be able to do it again. Therefore, we must reach a conviction today. If only we knew who was targeting Edgar last night... So, what if the Demon Legion scumbags have an attacker, protector, and blocker. The attacker targets me last night, the protector protects the attacker (explaining why my there was a red flash disintegrating my magic powder from him), and the blocker blocks Edgar, preventing him from attempting to block the neutral pyromaniac fire-bug. So maybe the Arsonist has already teamed up with the Demon Legion, but I can't see how he'd manage to do so. How could one find out who the other was? It doesn't really make sense. But I'm reminded of what Edgar said, about the two teaming up to take down the town... And my suggestion that the Demon Legion blocked Edgar is backed up by Brigit Bunny saying how there were many people visiting Edgar. Perhaps there was another townie investigating him, or peeping in on him, or something... Man, I really like leaving sentences trailing off, huh...
  8. I honestly have no idea why I was targeted. I assume the Demon Legion would have wanted to cause confusion by going after an unimportant townie as opposed to someone we'd expect them to go after, and having no knowledge of my magic powder bag, they went after me. The only person I contacted privately yesterday was Bristol Bunny, asking why she thought I was suspicious. She stated it was probably because of the tally I made, with reasonable reasoning, and that she supposed she could trust me. I don't think she would have targeted me... That makes perfect sense. I looked back at the things Edgar said in his defence, and you've summed it up well. I realised when he said, "At the end of the day, when the 2 forces combined, we, Fabulanders are dead." he was referring to the Arsonist and the Demon Legion. Proof that the Arsonist is neutral lies in his words, "Because past games of life tell me that if one who is neutral by nature have the option to combine forces with the evil faction.". "Houses don't burnt down for any reason... " also points to the fact that the house that burnt down at the very beginning of this was the work of the Arsonist. I think we need him to stop said Arsonist, as he said when faced with his demise, "And wild fire will continue to rampage and no one will ever have a chance to stop the forest fire anymore." I suppose people could not believe him and think that he himself is the Arsonist, which would also explain all his knowledge. You'd think that if this were the case, the real Fire-fighter would have stepped forward and said Edgar was lying. Or perhaps the real Fire-fighter would want to stay quiet and deal with Edgar the Arsonist discreetly... But I'm still now convinced Edgar is our Fire-fighting pal, and we need to keep him alive. I could be wrong, however. One can never really be sure of anything in these games... Sigh, I'm talking too much. I have one more thing to add however. Honestly, it didn't occur to me that people might think I'm lying. However, it's likely the Demon Legion will strike eventually, and if someone turns up killed by a sickle, and/or there are signs the killer was a crow, you'll know I was telling the truth. Of course, I hope it won't come to this, but really, what are the chances no one will fall to the Demon Legion?
  9. First and foremost, you'll have to take it up with our Games Admin, Dragonator. He's in charge of who runs what game, and when. Also, since you're a new member, you'll probably have to participate in a couple of games before hosting. And I suggest you be gentle, Draggy was just killed off in the latest game, so be nice and say please and thankyou.
  10. Not Booker! After what happened last night I thought I was the one who had been targeted, and since I'm still here I figured we'd all be safe and sound... I guess there were multiple people out hunting last night, and if Edgar was also targeted, that means at least 3 people were out. From what I've heard thus far, it seems an Arsonist targeted our beloved Booker Bear, a horrible demonic thing targeted me, and therefore if someone went after Edgar it must have been a town vigilante. That's a bad vigilante! Bad! You don't target townies, especially if it sounds like they're fire-fighters... Now, maybe I can explain the flashes of light last night. I'm no writer, but plays seem to be popular, so... Alright, I know, it's no match for Harriet's plays, and it didn't use code names, but still... Or perhaps the arsonist was a neutral? That's most likely, according to the book MafiaScum. I can't see an innocent townie dancing in joy as one of our cuddly friends burns to death... I have a theory about Booker's magic doohickey. Perhaps it could only protect him from demonic creatures, and not from deranged citizens? Also, it's sounding pretty heavily like Edgar is some sort of fire-fighter, whose purpose is to take down this arsonist. If so, we should keep the protection on him, lest his house burn down.
  11. Come to Wargames and Mafia forum, see new posts in The Forest Mafia... Confirmation & Discussion, not Day 2. This game will teach me patience if nothing else. Really though, I apologise for my impatience. I'm really enjoying this game, with your entertaining narrative and great pictures. Take your time, and I look forward to Day 2.
  12. Woo, cheers for the fantastic review, Whitefang! Another awesome set of minifigs, I'll aim to get at least a Hazmat guy and a skater. Great stuff.
  13. Wow, those are ridiculously expensive. It's crazy what some parts sell for. I'd like to see how much the price for those helmets drop after this raffle. On a slightly unrelated note, don't you think you're going a little overboard with the topic title?
  14. Type-writer! It's a tragedy to see such a fine piece of equipment destroyed... Too bad we can't ask the doctor if he notices anything important missing... I would like to peer out the window and see if I can catch sight of anyone or anything suspicious, and also check for footprints out there.
  15. Okay, normally I'm not the one waiting impatiently for the new day to be up, but Hiiiinck, when's the new day comin' up?
  16. I learnt something very important in Mystery Castle. If you make a mistake, shutup and lie. The truth will set you on fire. But yes, it's interesting to be following this Paradisa Mafia. I must add my compliments to the pile, the photography is great, as is the narrative. I noticed how you got both a horrified and a furious expression from Mr Crusoe by strategically photographing to obscure his eyebrows, which I thought was a very nice touch.
  17. I'll follow Alan Simmons into the doc's office.
  18. Wow, another raffle already! This is certainly very generous of Eurobricks and CopMike! Kudos!
  19. You're very welcome. Took me a while to word that so it made sense too. I hope to see you at the party tonight.
  20. Reaching a conviction today is as effective as it is ineffective. We might convict a townie. If we do not vote, God may punish us, and someone could be smote. This could possibly be a neutral or a scummy demon worshipper. Sorry, I just think the way you worded that wasn't the best. Really, if we vote someone out at random, they have just a good a chance to be townie, neutral or scum than someone who is God-killed to punish us for not voting. I used to be against voting on day one, err, in books telling of situations like this, but then I realised convicting someone is the only way to learn things on Day 1. By looking at who votes, who unvotes, when they do these things, and who doesn't vote at all, we could determine who was likely to be scum. But since we're all so experienced with these 'books', that doesn't really work any more, as a scum would know what a scum is likely to do, and a scum would know that we know what a scum is likely to do, and so would do the opposite. Or maybe they'd know we expect that, and so would not do the opposite...
  21. Okay, but really, what makes Helen any less deserving of investigation before lynching? Same goes for all of us. Any one of us could state, when faced with the prospect of death by demon, that they have an important role for helping the town, and voting them off would be foolish. However, with everyone unvoting Edgar, my confidence has been shook, so therefore I will use my daily unvote. Unvote: Edgar Elephant (Whitefang) Cats and dogs, eh? Wait, you said my name too! What have you got against Horace Horse! I thought we had something special Bristol...
  22. Yes, I was thinking that, but didn't know how to saying. So thank you for summing up my thoughts! Come see me after the party, and you'll find out. Oh, I'm sure God will leave that unpunished... But very well, the vote's been started, and a majority must be reached. Any ideas on what we could learn if he turns out to be innocent, though? Vote: Edgar Elehant (Whitefang) By which, of course, I mean: <ahem> Vote: Edgar Elehant (Whitefang)
  23. So, who are the quiet ones? Well sure, it's rather early to really be establishing that, but I'm bored so I had a look at who's said the least, and who's said the most. Bristol Bunny, Cara Cow, Gabby Goat, Kaley Cat, Lazlo Lion and Pennie Pig have each spoken up only once so far. On the other end of the spectrum, Brigid Bunny, Bruno Bear, Cameron Crocodile, Edgar Elephant and myself have each spoken up four times. La la la. I could list the 8 people who spoke up twice, and the 5 people who spoke up 3 times, but I don't think that might be a bit excessive. I don't think we can learn anything from this right now though. Fun fact, Gabby Goat was latest to the party. So long as she's not late for the party tonight!
  24. Hair - fur, same difference. Count me in! I'll get my dancin' horse-shoes ready.
