Very creative! Nice design, but it looks like it would fall apart if you tried to drive it. :-/ Still, great design, vey creative. *y*

You know, most of the original Bionicle names are similar to New Zealand Maori. For example, 'Toa' means big, or strong, or something. 'Whenua' means earth or rock. I'm not sure exactly. Anyway, I think the Barraki names are weird. Mantaxx? That's just manta with 2 x's on the end! :-P

The set boxes are actually a lot smaller than they used to be. I was quite surprised when I saw how small they were. Oh well, more sets can fit on the shelfs then!

Another great MOC from The Brickster!! I love the windmill, and the ranch itself looks great. The fence is awesome, really makes it look that much better, and the stable is a nice touch too, if not a little to small. :-/ But overall a great job! *y* *y*

Yeah, I guess if it normally takes 7 days, it should take 7 days this time. It's no different to any other S@H order. I saw these sets in Toyworld (like TRU only for NZ) today, man I was gutted! I don't have any money, having bought Rainbow Six 3 recently... I made a thread in general news/discussions for more info. So anyway, now I know they're there for when I have the money. I need to make a C.V. first, before I can get a job. :-/

King's Castle Siege (7094) Image Review
iamded replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Yeah, that finishes it all. Have wall sections, with removable 'roof' piece, so you can add more layers to it, make it taller. Then have corner sections and gate sections. Built in modular building style. *sweet* -
Or how about a white Viking helmet (or black, or gold) with red (or gold) horns? Give him a more Skellie feel. Although that would just look weird if you think about it. :-/

Wasn't sure where to put this topic, so I put it here. If it belongs somewhere else, please do move it. So I was in town the other day, and I saw there was a sale on at EB Games (video game store). I went in, checked it out, and saw a pretty cool game. I was certain the 2007 Lego sets wouldn't be out for another month or more, so I thought, eh :-/ , I guess I could spare some money, and I bought Unreal Anthology (turns out my computer isn't DVD compatible, so I returned it and got Rainbow Six 3; Raven Shield). Half price, cost me 25 bucks. That's 2 and a half Crossbow Attack sets. Anyway, that was last Sunday. Now it's Friday and I went into the local toy store, to find the new Lego sets. |-/ Damn! >:-( So, hopefully EB Games'll take the game back, and refund some money. I can't find the receipt though, but they should let me. I hope. Man I want those sets! Whenever I know the set's I've been wanting are in store, I can't wait to get my hands on them. And having no money at the moment doesn't help. :'-( I just wanted to get that off my chest. P.S. EB stand for Electronics Boutique, not Eurobricks. :-P

I vote for the new castle line. Otherwise, it really depends on whether you like ground based tank-like vehicles or space crafts. I myself prefer the Recon Dropship. Although I wouldn't think of getting it, unless I had plenty of money. Being a TFOL I have a very small budget, and I am greatly regretting the purchase of Rainbow Six 3, realising the new 2007 products are available in stores.

Excellent MOC, love those boosters. *y*

Very good! And the skeleton overlord would need a super evil skellie head. Hahaha! *skull*
-
Three bags of extra parts??? I wish I were that lucky! Feel sorry for the guy who's missing three bags... You could expand on the set quite a bit with those pieces.
-
Well, I don't see why not.

The old skeletons are limp, like a corpse, but the new ones are stiff, like a soldier. Pretty much juts quoted what Shakar said right there. >.< Agreed! I am seriously planning on getting a job this time, which will be neat, and since I'm 15 I get at least... $2.00 more than I would have last year! :-P Yey.

I think the Revolt set would be cool! Seriously, joke set or not, I still think it's neat. Also, to Shakar, in that picture, the circled group on the left could just be Crown Knight reinforcements. The ship I assume we all know about, the set with the wharf and gate and Skellie pirate (yet to be released). The one to the right of the ship I can't really make out, but it could be the King's Castle Siege set. To the right of that I can't make out. And the one at the bottom, a Viking? Or more realistically, a Crownie, with the Skellie's battle-axe for some reason. See? No more mystery. Except for the one on the far right. Although, I could be completely wrong. The one on the right could be a dwarf army coming to battle, then an all new ship, the sail design looks to be different to the one we've seen. Then it could be a Skeleton Fortress/Castle/Stronghold? That'd be neat. Then a group of ogres? Or something? And at the bottom, a Viking. Because that's how they roll. :-D :-P Also, regarding these graveyard set ideas; "The dark sorcery of his lightning staff lets him create Evil Skeletons and control powerful dragons..." On the description of the Wizard. He doesn't raise the dead, he creates them. With magic. Although I'd like to think he could raise the dead, like minions, weaker than summoned skeletons, but still used to bulk his forces. Or somethin' like that. :-P

I agree with Berry. The wall sections would be great. You could have your town as big or as small as you want, depending on how many wall pieces you buy. Kinda like the train tracks, how you buy all the pieces and can put it together how you like. Similar to this set, only that one has a gate, corner piece and wall piece all in one. I was thinking of having them in separate sets.
-
I turned all my KK sets (the latest series) into a newer version of Battle at the Pass. It's gonna have the Skeleton Tower behind it, so as to be part of the skeleton's fortress. And the rest of the pieces are being used in the blacksmith/soda brewer's house/workshop. :-P Just thought I'd share that.
-
Very nice! Simple, but looking great! I must say i thoroughly enjoyed your medieval alphabet vignette. Great work there, and what I'm sure will be another great series. *y* :-D
-
Ha, a jet-pack. Now he's perfect! *y* *y*

These are all great ideas. The Revolt set sound's great, too bad there isn't a Toys'R'Us in New Zealand. :-P Although the bridge set reminds me too much of Gargoyle Bridge, which wasn't that great IMO.

That's to make you get both sets. So you can add the Princess to the castle, and then have a skeleton fort. See? -
X-D Remind me to tie down the bricks first. :-P
-
Yeah, think of all the giant women they'd have to design. X-D :-P
-
Awesome to the max. :-P

Very creative! I love the head, and feet designs. Very good! *y* *y*
