  1. Hitomi's profile has been added to the Exo-force page. PERSONALITY Smart and smart-mouthed; a risk-taker; feels she has something to prove. Extremely skilled mechanic, but more interested in martial arts and battle machine piloting than technical work these days. BACKGROUND Granddaughter of Sensei Keiken, Hitomi showed an aptitude for mechanical work from an early age. She was also a very daring and courageous young girl. When the first robot rebellion broke out, she begged to be allowed to fight, even though she was much too young at the time. Her grandfather refused. In the intervening time between the two robot wars, Hitomi got a job working with Keiken and Ryo to design the new battle machines that would be used by EXO-FORCE. She dreamed of someday piloting a battle machine herself, although she knew Keiken would never approve that. Knowing that the ranks were thin after the battle of Sentai Fortress, she went again to Keiken to ask for the chance to help defend humanity. Keiken finally gave in, allowing her to serve as a guard at the Golden Vault. Since the city was so heavily defended, Keiken reasoned she would not be in too much danger there. But Hitomi trained in secret, honing her ninja-style fighting skills and her knowledge of battle machine operation. During a fierce robot attack, she had the opportunity to commandeer an untested battle machine, the Blazing Falcon. Using it to defeat the robots, her heroism left Keiken no choice but to make her a full member of EXO-FORCE. Hitomi is smart, competitive, and sometimes tries a little too hard to prove she is as good as Hikaru (with whom she has a good-natured rivalry). Her relationship is a little more strained with Takeshi, as he believes women should not be in combat. QUOTE
  2. Now non-existant? It was non-existant in the first place! :-P I start, and then I tend to just roll with it, until I reach the desired outcome. :-P :-D
  3. *y* *y* Great job! It's like when Grave Stone was a happy little town, before all the curses and what-not, there was Riding Stable. Now, there is Sinister Stable. :-P Great job, a very good set that goes well with your other MOCs. *y*
  4. Sheesh. It's getting kinda boring down here. Where is that guy? And where did I put my donuts... [END TRANSMISSION]
  5. That's a great idea Piranha! Great minifig ideas. I can imagine the set now... someone need to make a MOC of it. :-D *y*
  6. So I was looking at Saber Scorpion's Nova Refuge Lego, and saw these cool swords. Instead of buying those fancy custom made swords, he customised his own. So I had a go at it. I bought the latest season of the Knight's Kingdom Lego, with the Mistlands Tower and Gargoyle Bridge and what-not. When I bought my first KK set, Border Ambush (rope bridge, spikes, boulder, shadow knight) I thought the 'new' sword was really cool, in metallic blue. But now with all those KK sets (especially Battle at the Pass), I had heaps of those swords. I could sacrifice a few of those boring silver ones. So I did. Here's what happened. The 2 top left I tried to make the same, but turned out only to be similar. Still, I use them for dual wielding. The one to the right of them I made for use with a shield. The one next to that was just a unique design, me being creative. Then we have the dagger. It was supposed to be a short sword, but I kept messing up, and cutting it shorter. So now it's the dagger used to kill Mecha Diablo. Below it is the original Knight's Kingdom sword, no changes whatsoever. For comparison mainly. Then below that, is my favourite. I works great for a knight, a bulky sword, especially next to the swords in the new Castle line. Kind of like a broad sword. :-P If you are shocked by the fact that I 'ruined' perfectly good Lego, well, I did warn you. :-P
  7. I could take some. I'll post them in the H&A thread. I got the idea from Saber Scorpion's Nova Refuge Lego.
  8. That's awesome! I love seeing mini models, they're so clever. *y*
  9. You're both wrong. Although you were close. Nano-bots are small, nearly microscopic, like cells, and prisons have cells, and prisons hold criminals, and criminals commit crimes, and crimes rhymes with chimes, and chimes make noise, and noise is emitted in sound waves and the ocean has waves, and the ocean is full of water, and water has hydrogen in it, hydrogen-h, potassium-k, magnesium-m, M16, M15, M51, MT51, MT51 Claw-Tank Ambush! :-D
  10. If you don't like that, you'll hate my 'customised' KK swords...
  11. Nice job! Great design, very green... the cannon looks quite intimidating. I loved the old Martians, although the Martian base didn't look great with the hangars empty... Anyway, great cockpit, and overall very nice. Looks like it has great articulation. *y* *y* Wait, where did you get those green 1x1 canisters? I had to mutilate my plant pieces to get those... :-(
  12. Wow, 4 skellies! There havn't been 4 skellies in any sets so far, unless you count the Skeleton Dragon Rider in King's Castle Siege, but he doesn't have a skellie torso. This is the only set so far with 4 full skellies. :-D *y*
  13. Well, everyone's saying bricklink, but I prefer Brickset. It has heaps of sets and people's reviews of them. Here is Castle and here is Starwars. :-)
  14. Wow, those wings are amazing! And the trees... wow! And the head, and the way the body's been put together... this is just amazing!! *y* *y* :-D :-D And the Dragon Rider's halberd. :-D
  15. In the Dark Side Developer set it doesn't have wires, it uses that big control thing. But this isn't a technic set, so I see what you mean. Still, I don't think they'll use heaps of wires, and if they do they'll cover it up. I have to admit, if it is motorized you could have some fun with the Snowspeeder tripping it up. :-P Much like the DSD set. :-P P.S. Could someone post a prototype pic here? Thanks.
  16. I have the Tusken Raider Encounter set. It has 2 Tusken Raiders, ep.2 Anakin, Anakin's speeder bike and a moisture evaporator tower.
  17. Lord *vader*. I have followed the co-ordinates and arrived at this planet Wankster. I am landing now, as far as I can see there is no-one waiting. And no corpse. Or... ashes. Or anything. Must be a pretty powerful weapon to disintegrate a creature so fully that even the ashes get disintegrated. Hum. Well, I'll wait here for TK to bring some evidence. Ded out.
  18. Unfortunately it's just a gate. It's been mentioned before, and is confirmed. I personally think it would have been much better with the whole base. :-/
  19. New head, new hat, new whip, printed legs, this is awesome. :-D
  20. Awesome! That's great, very creative and unique design, great job! Looks very posable too. *y* *y*
  21. I really hope to see this set! It sounds excellent! I'll have to get at least 2. :-P I haven't seen the new catalogue in Toyworld yet. I want it!
  22. Aw crud. There is no Lego store in New Zealand. :-(
  23. Seriously? You know someone called Gali? Well, she was the female Toa... I reckon Whenua, 'cause in Maori it means earth, and he's a earth matoran, no?
  24. Nice! Good review, great pics. That's a lot of pins. :-P Looks neat, the first (only) pneumatic set I've seen/played with was the submarine. With the detachable cockpit. It was awesome. This looks neat too, if only I had enough money to get the Castle sets and this. :-D *y*
  25. I remember when they made watches, and alarm clocks. Useful stuff. This is just ridiculous.
