I really like this review, as it follows through the build, rather than just showing pics of the final model where you can't really take all the detail in at once. This is great, keep up the good work! ~Peace

How about some sort of radar system? If that's possible with the parts at hand.

<Lands T.I.E. Fighter [stealthily painted white] and gets out, while Imperial Landing Craft drops off rest of Beta squad> Alright lads, I reckon our best bet is to find an entrance to the rebel base, or make one, somewhere where the other squads haven't. <Contacts MM, gets up to date> Heh heh, they can barely walk with that armour... ahem, anyway. Alright squad, MM has entered the base through an 'improvised' entrance. We'll find a way in and de-activate the trip-wires, and try to de-activate the alarm system and any other defence features, i.e. turrets. Heck, if we might even be able to shut off all power, if casewindu agrees that's the best plan. But first, we gotta find a way in, maybe through some supply depot, or something. Let's get lookin'.

That was... different. Not bad though. I like the drum kit. *y* ~Peace

Welcome to Eurobricks! I mentioned a while back that the Oriental dragon is part of classic dragon, as it has the same body. ~Peace

Well, this was featured in the 2007 catalogue. So, the Skellie Ship Attack was 70 USD. According to the currency converter I used, 70 USD is 92 NZD. But it's actually $100. So 50 USD will be, like, 70 bucks? That's my logic. :-P I can't wait! ~Peace

I believe they'll be coming in the 2nd half of the year,as well as the other three bad guys. ~Peace

Well, we already got Troll on Hinckley action... X-O :-P So, 50 USD, that's (according to the currency converter) 65 NZD, so it'll probably be 75 bucks most. That's cheaper than I expected, I thought it would be like, 100 bucks or something. What a pleasant surprise! :-D ~Peace

I actually think the wizard has new printing, less evil than the dark wizard's, not just another colour either. ~Peace

Fire and Ice Troll's Shack: Based on 2008 Troll/Castle Line

I don't really like the trolls, mainly because I despise those heads... they're like, little evil babies or something. But I can see why you used them, they don't make bad custom trolls at all. Vader's put little images in my head of those two bickering about this and that... ah, crazy stuff... ~Peace -
I can see how it would be possible to attach it, you could use the 1x2 bricks with a technic hole, then one of those light grey half pins, with a stud on one end... you know the piece I mean... anyway, that would attach to the bottom of the plates. And I noticed in this pic, the grass pieces are in the centre of the bricks, where the technic hole would be... ~Peace

I used to really dislike the new dragon, preferring the Viking one due to articulation, but the new one's grown on me, the head is nice, I love the eyes, and at first I didn't quite get why the wings were coloured like that. I figured the red dragon should have the spines of the wing red and the membrane black, as red is it's main colour and black is the secondary colour (inverse for the black dragon). Then I realised the red dragon's spine and spikes were black, and that's where the wings connect, so it makes sense that the spines on the wings were black, with the membrane being red. Then I realised I had been complaining about nothing, and the wing's colours merge together instead of being seperated with the spines/membrane. I's like to see clean, properly coloured two toned wings in future, instead of it just being mixed. Anyway, that's my long pointless rant. In short, I now prefer the new Castle dragon as opposed to the Viking one, whether due to my wanting completion and purity in my Castle collection, or just because it's grown on me. ~Peace

I thought this was a real set! Great job, excellent detail and nice play features, very well done! *y* *y* ~Peace -
You're very welcome Hinckley. How much did this set cost you? I'm curious as to how much this will set me back... X-D ~Peace

The Batman line can have plenty of new sets, there are still a lot of villains, and how about we have some buildings rather than another Bat-vehicle, like in Arkham Asylum? (Although that did come with the Bat-glider...) And why did they give away Spider-man? Marvel's way better than DC (:-P) and we could have had other things, like the Fantastic Four, Iron Man (well, maybe that's a bit violent...), the Avengers, X-men! That'd be awesome, one can dream... *wub* ...and lets not go into the Punisher... >:-) ...or Ghost Rider... :-P I'm looking forward to Indiana Jones, there's some lovely lookin' vehicles. Spongebob's alright, plenty of room for continuation, better than a lot of other Nickelodean shows TLC might have picked. I agree with TT on Ferrari, it was great at first, but they aren't releasing any new characters (you know what I mean) so it's getting kind of boring... And Avatar, man, I love that show! *wub* Too bad the sets aren't sold in NZ... :'-( Well, there's my 2 cents. *sweet* ~Peace

I think '08 is just as good as '07. 2007 did introduce the awesome new Castle line, and lovely new Star Wars and City sets, along with the aeroplanes that I personally think are awesome but a lot of people seem to dislike. And Aqua Raiders, which I think are neat. However 2008's brought Indiana Jones, a new direction for the Castle theme, awesome Star Wars battle packs, and a theme minitheme for City (or brought it back); mail delivery! I personally am only planning on collecting Castle (with exceptions being, for '07, the MM Astro Fighter and Arkham Asylum, and for '08 the 2 Indy sets with land vehicles, and the Star Wars Storm Trooper battle pack). '007 and '008 ON! :-D ~Peace

Nice comic! I'm sure MOCers will add a big cave, and the bucket transportation system can be easily modified and extended. Don't you mean 'their' heads? :-P Just noticed that... Anyway, looking forward to seeing the 2nd part of your comic, and what modifications you come up with! *y* :-D ~Peace

Nice use for the mosaic pieces! Not a bad job at all. *y* ~Peace -
Sheesh, I'm almost tempted to buy two Skellie Ship Attacks just to elongate the ship! It's so stubby! It'll be nice to see what this will look like with the tower from that Goblin Siege set. After removing those flick-fire missiles of course. :-P ~Peace

I thought the wizard was grey, but sand blue is fine with me, lets you know he's the good guy, a couple of them would add nicely to my collection. ~Peace

Hehe, AC\DC. I'd love to see a Lego rock band. :-D ~Peace

X-O Fan-tas-tique! Absolutely amazing, wonderful job! *y* *y* *y* Excellent detail, I love the ruins, the guy in the swamp :-P, all the shrubbery and plants, it's all amazing! I checked out s-e-i-g-e and Skeleton Fort, they're both great too, although I'd like to see a view behind the wall in Skeleton Fort, still, it's all very well built. I like your method of building the landscape, using coloured bricks to build a nice stand, then covering it up, good idea. *y* ~Peace

This walks similarly to the AT-AT in the Mindstorms Dark Side Developer kit. ~Peace

So there's Ryo's mech, or maybe Hitomi finally gets one. ~Peace
